Though the Huena was down after a couple of hits, but was far from defeated. His vicious smile was still there with expressions of feeling no pain on his face like if it was pleasure to him. He quickly stood back up, as he ran towards Julie, tackling her down.
“You’re pretty to be my dead toy.” He spoke quietly to the girl in a creepy way, drools streaming out of his mouth down onto her.
When he noticed Kai coming towards him, he quickly jumped onto him with another, wrestling against with their muscular arms. The Huena was pushing the jungle boy, trying to break them hard as he could. “You might be my kind of meal for tonight.”
His claws slowly grew, letting go of his left arm with quick, slashing scratch on Kai’s chest to keep him down on the soiled earth. “C’mon - Let me have you and your girl. I could smell the blood and it’s good.”

Absolutely tired of these newbies underestimating him, Kainak freed himself and Julie from the hyena’s grip. Once free, he took in a deep breath, then pounded the ground before starting a ha’a, the Pomaika’ian equivalent of their Māori cousins’ haka.
Pumped up, Kai bent over and tackled the hyena, knocking the wind out of him. Then he lifted the hyena up—he wasn’t that heavy—and duplexes him. As the hyena tried to counter, Kainak jump away and up on a tree branch, crouching like Spider-Man.
As this was happening, Julie came back to the present. Noticing Chris was down, but his tranquilizer gun close by, Julie got an idea. She picked it up, aimed and fired. The dart hit the hyena square in the back, but he didn’t go down.
Kainak jumped from the branch like a wrestler jumping off the top rope, elbowing the hyena. As the two grappled, it gave Hulie enough time to reload and shoot the hyena again. The hyena stopped, wavered on his feet, then fell forwards. Kainak stepped away, and Julie ran over to him.
He winced as he touched his chest. Julie smacked his arm out of the way and began tending to her boyfriend’s injuries.
“So much for our Great White Hunter,” Kainak remarked as Chris began to stand up.

Just as they thought it was over, the Huena opened his eyes widely, still smiling like a mad villain he truly, squirming in the ropes that tied him up and ripped himself. The tranquilizer turned out to be immune to him. He quickly stood back up for another attack behind behind the jungle girl, stomping on her back to the ground, as he pushed her down onto the soiled earth. “C’mon, little girl - You know you want me to be my doll like I always want.”
“Get off of the kid, you ugly creep.” The giant shouted at the Huena, punching him in the face. “That’s not how you treat ladies.”
While the punch was hard, the violent creature was no quiet. With a damaged, more wonkier, reddish eye on the right that splattered by blood, he looked even more terrifying. “You look like a huge pack of meat for me to eat! What a good amount!”
The Huena jumped on him to tackle him down, but Chris was too tall and big to hit a floor. Once the Huena was on him upfront, the hunter quickly grab his right arm with a grip tight enough to break the wrist. He could hear him scream madly and laugh unpleasantly. Chris roughly removed him despite getting some minor cuts, slamming down onto floor hard as a hammer, hitting again and again to break more of his bones. The Huena was still screaming and laughing in pain, loving and hating it at the same time. To him, violence was just all fun and games, and worth the life.
After taking one more hammering slam, the giant began to check on the Huena if he was dead or alive, reaching his left armed to feel his pulse.
“Yep, I’ve killed that b*****d real good.” The hunter confirmed. “So, what are we gonna do with his body?”

"I'M TWENTY-THREE!" Julie barked, clawing at the ground. "I HAVE A *bleep*ING BACHELOR'S OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN *bleep*ING BIOLOGY FROM THE *bleep*ING UNIVERSITY OF CALI-*bleep*ING-FORNIA, LOS-*bleep*ING-ANGELES! AGH!" Fed up with Chris and his rogues gallery who should've stayed down when they were brought down, she stood up, stomped away, and sulked near a tree.
"Why'd you kill him?" Kainak asked, just as visibly frustrated.

Chris couldn’t believe how Julie behaved over killing a threat and her tantrum. He never understood why they needed the bizarre, mad-driven creature at all and why. “That crazy hyena-looking freak was killing you guys! Why be upset over it when he’s dead for good!?”
He pointed at the cuts on the jungle boy’s chest. “Just looks at your wounds, he could slash one or two more to end your life!”

"He and you called me a little girl!" Julie wailed.
"Thanks for the concern, but we wanted to know where he came from!" Kainak replied.
"And why do these things keep coming back when they should be down!?" Julie wailed again. She raised her head to the sky. "WHAT GOD IS BEHIND THIS???" It was now clear that she wasn’t angry at Chris himself, just the events of the past couple of days that had seen her and Kainak get nerfed for no reason. Add in her perception of Chris, that he was some muscle-bound meathead glorified tourist Great White Hunter-type, and her reaction would be understandable.

“You’re maybe twenty-three, but young adults like you are still called as kids!” The hunter wailed back at Julie to reply, turning his head around back to Kainek “But at least I’m starting to understand her frustration
Though she wasn’t really angry at Chris, but her tantrum shocked him with cation like if she was angry enough to be pack in her tightly with his straitjacket and toss her in the padded cell, since jungle kids are usually wild and crazy from his point of view, but he thought of something else “if you don’t like to be call that, then that’s fine by me. Just don’t get yourself too upset over it. It’s not like I’m using it as a derogatory.”
As for where the Huena came from, all of them had no idea at all. To the hunter, creature was mysterious who happened to be native in the island like a Yeti on a snowy mountain. He asked the Kainek with a question about the human and hyena hybrid. “Does the villagers ever thought that thing was real in their own stories?”
While the two discussed each other about it, another Huena was hiding in the bushes, chuckling quietly to see his targets as food and one as a toy.
“I don’t recalled another freak like the one I killed, had she noticed another one or she’s just being moody?” The hunter asked.

Kainak nodded at Chris, then held out his hand before walking over to Julie. Laying his hands on her shoulder, he gently talked her down from her frustration, guiding her through some breathing exercises until she had calmed down.
In reality, Chris’s straitjackets were neither needed nor useful. Despite Chris’s beliefs, Julie was perfectly in her right mind. In fact, she loved being a jungle girl, living wild and free like Jane Porter. However, she and Kainak probably forgot about the stuff Chris does with straitjackets (because they burned them). But if he tried to put her in a straitjacket, she’d be confused, then pissed off at him. A few derogatory words might even be thrown about.
“Just call me Julie,” she said calmly. “And by the way, I think you need to brush up on your Hawaiian mythology, since that’s like, the mythology and culture most similar to Pomaika’i’s.”
“Means they don’t have a story,” said Kainak.
“And don’t call me moody!” Julie snapped. Now she was assuming Chris had some other problems. Julie is simply a fiery, passionate young, modern woman.

“Okay, Julie.” The giant replied to the wild beauty, upper arms extending back and forth lightly to calm her down. “I was just confused.”
Though many of his jackets were burned, he still had more hiding in his campsite and certain parts of the jungle that were impossible enough to find them but him. While they discussing about the bizarre creature, it turned out the Huena wasn’t native in the island they were on that it actually was more of a man-made creature.
“Who’ve made that crazy freak anyway when it’s seemed to be impossible and maybe illegal to do it as an experiment?” He asked the dwellers other than himself with a guess. “Somebody must’ve kidnapped someone while infusing him together with a hyena on a ship close from here, and later send him off.”
The other Huena was still hiding in a bush, walking stealthily to find a his best spot to jump on Chris. The creature chuckled quietly again. “Big meat to make food and toy out of.”

"Or he was a volunteer," Julie remarked. "There's some weird stuff on this island, but human/animal hybrids are... weirder."
"What about beastmen?" Kainak asked.
"Aren't they just animals with some human features?" Julie asked. "We ran some genetic tests on a panther beastman, didn't find anything close to human DNA." Julie's scientific speak must've surprised Chris even more, as he'd likely never met a jungle girl who really was in her right mind, had a science degree, and used it.

“Never knew a dweller could have that kind of knowledge.” The giant thought to himself about Julie.
The discussion of the Huena was like solving a puzzle to them, sounding more like the Human-Animal Hybrid that was fused together by human cells, Hyena eggs, and some sort of drug filled in an injection needle that could take single shot turned a someone into a violent creature.
“If there’s more, we could see some clones of them.” He pointed out for any possibly.
