“Most Coyotes are more than one in a diameter.” Chris answered, noticing John had some trouble to tell him some facts. “So they’re average size are more similar to wolves than dogs.”

"Okay, they can get that big up in the mountains," said John. "By the way, coffee offer still stands. Want some?"

“Sure, I’ll take a nice, cold cup of coffee for a drink.” He smiled, feeling thirsty for a drink. “I don’t drink the warm ones very much, since I’m usually out in the sun.”

John smacked his head, at first angry that Chris had asked for iced coffee, then at the correct target, himself, for not considering the possibility that Chris might want to have iced coffee because of the heat. After profusely apologizing for not having any ready, and for being a bad host, he led Chris to the refreshment tent, where the coffee was being made. There, he poured some coffee and put it in the fridge.
An hour later, he took it out, handing it to Chris. "Sorry about the inconvenience, mate," he said. "We'll have some for ya next time."

“Ummm....why are you giving me a faceplam reaction?” Chris asked, knowing how confused John was when he told him what kind of coffee he liked the best.
The giant always kept his glass bottles of iced coffee in a cooler at his campsite. He was having a good conversation with him, proving he was far from being a full oafish. When John apologized the hunter for the confusion, he accepted his apology and followed him to another tent. “I only drink warmer coffee when I’m at cooler areas.”

"That makes sense, but I've always preferred hot coffee, no matter the air temp," John remarked. "Army life, y'know?"

John looked around the tent to memorize his navigation, noticing a few coolers for each kind of drinks in different colors; blue for the water, red for soft drinks as a play-on reference to the coco-cola brand, yellow for juices and milk, green for alcohol, and finally brown for iced coffee. Chris liked how they organized their food and drinks in the tent like some people would inside of the kitchen at restaurants. “That’s a spiffy-looking setup you guys made.”

"I wish I'd thought of it," John laughed, rubbing his hair. "But that's not my job." Both men chuckled. "I think you asked about island snakes earlier?"
(Note: Don't overthink this)

“I don’t think I asked that before.” Chris replied to John, walking towards the brown cooler and opened it, as the giant reached a glass bottle of iced coffee.

John could have sworn that Chris had made an offhand comment about snakes, but he decided not to press the matter.
The matter wouldn't come up again, because he felt something vibrating in his pocket. He pulled out his cell phone and answered. "Aye?" He didn't see Chris turning back to him, but the giant wasn't on his mind.
"John, we... kinda need some help," Julie pleaded on the other end. "We're fine right now, but... someone just tried to mess with us."
"On my way," said John. He hung up, and turned to Chris. "Good news! You're about to have your first mission, for lack of a better term. Let's head back to the armory. Julie called, she and Kainak need help with something."

Chris opened the glass bottle of iced coffee, taking a few sips of his drink. He loved how it tasted and felt in his mouth. He dropped the cap into a small trash can, as he watched John answering his phone to talk with Julie, taking another sip of his iced coffee. When the giant was told, he was about to go on a mission with the dwellers, he smiled lightly with his eyebrows up to show his interest and anticipation. “This should be interesting.”

They armed themselves with rifles, regular and tranquilizer. Then they went to the jeep, John informing Gina that they were going off to help Kainak and Julie with whatever problems they had. "I'll let the Teo know," she said, and John nodded. He started the jeep and drove out of the camp, into the thick jungle in the direction of the jungle couple's treehouse.

Meanwhile in the deepest part of the island’s jungle was a strange-looking creature pasting around who could move almost exactly like a human, and speak like it. But he had a terrifying hyena head with a Mohawk, canine paws as hands and feet with sharp claws, and dark brown fur skin with black stripes on his back. His name was Huena whose personalities were violently psychotic with a dark, sadistic sense of humor. Recently, the mad creature killed another victim, playing around with the corpse as a toy, and ate it later from head to toe with a laugh.
He always smiled with a sinister look widely to reveal his vicious teeth, making himself ready to eat another Prey. “Kill, play, and eat. Kill, play, and eat.”

Needless to say, John and Chris were unaware of the creature's presence, and that he'd noticed them heading in Julie and Kai's direction, as he'd hoped.
The treehouse emerged from the brush, sprouting above the forest floor like a flower. Made of thatch and wood, it sat in one of the thicker trees, a single storey tall, but wider than tall, from the angle they could see it from. A figure emerged from the front entrance onto the porch, grabbing something in front of them. It turned out to be a vine, because the feminine figure descended 20 feet from the treehouse porch to the ground, and ran up to them.
It was Julie. She was very sweaty, panting and huffing. "Sorry," she said.
"What happened?" John asked.
"I don't know!" she replied. "Something just burst out of the jungle and tried to climb up here! I could've sworn it looked like a dog or something!"

Chris was just following the orders from John like he normally did at his organization. When they had made to the treehouse, he noticed the tree itself had some words of “Ha” craved on it in a different language. To him, it looked like someone broke in the dwellers’ home like a criminal. He watched Julie jumped off of it to have a conversation with him and John. He asked the jungle girl if she noticed a few words of “Ha” craved on the tree, thinking if someone else tried to climd on it other than the one the dweller saw from her perspective on the situation. They weren’t in English, but the giant hunter knew how to read in many different languages.
“They looked a lot like they came straight outta the Batman comic books or something.”
