The Dragonair sighed as he realized that she reacted to him lying down and closing his eyes at the time. "No, no need..." she replied, quickly slithering to where he walked off to. "It was a simple misunderstanding. It's alright. Just...what happened to you two?"

{Within mere seconds of the Dragonair reaching the point the water type had walked to, he swiftly turned around, walking back over to the unconscious Cyndaquil}
“NahIwasjokninganyway.”
{As the samurai otter reached the fire type once again, he prominently sat down next to the smaller Pokémon with a smile on his face. However, the smile seemed almost... spasmodic in nature, as opposed to genuine happiness. His eyes stared into the eyes of the dragon type serpent in a manner that made him look crazy. Rather contrasting to his species appearance and reputation.}
“We got thrown off a boat. Boat’s mine I called it the inevitable because every ship always meets their inevitable fate when they fight us. Got loads of cannons and a thick as hull for stopping other cannons. I always have backup nearby to flank too, always wins battles. Ten outta ten strategy.”

The Dragonair couldn't help but be a bit caught offguard by the somewhat unsettling smile he gave. She calmed down a bit as she heard the situation, wondering if the series of events had caused him some trauma, especially considering he said the boat was his own. "I see..." she replied, not having much to say about the additional boat info he provided. "So...were you both thrown off the boat by a storm? There was quite an overcast here earlier..."

”You think I’m Insane, don’t you?”
{His smile refused to fade as he spoke, seemingly sure of himself that he was predicting correctly. To Monado, it didn’t matter too much whether he was right or not. He was almost insane anyway. His body slightly rocked back and forth by a small distance, still holding his almost demented smile as his gaze only appeared more and more creepy.}

"I-insane? No, I..." she replied, looking off, still a bit unsettled. "I think that conclusion's a bit extreme. You did seem to just come off a harsh experience after being thrown off a boat." She looked over at the Cyndaquil and looked at him with a smile. "After all, you did save that young Cyndaquil, didn't you?"

"I'm creepy I know."
{He responded once again with atone that spoke truth to his claim, his eyes staying upon the serpentine dragon's form like a magnet.}
"But yeah, she's kinda my partner and would've died in the water. Fire types get priority for saving."

"Hmm..." she replied, a bit wierded out, but not necessarily scared. "So you two know each other. How so?" She still seemed curious of this Samurott, despite his oddities.

{At last his gaze returned to one that could be considered normal, staring towards the fire type with only the smallest hint of concern within his tone.
"We were partners for a while. Went on adventures, did stuff, saved the world. Totally didn't get stoned at one point."

"Stoned? Which variation of that?" she asked, pretty quick to pick up on his specific denial. "Because either one is a bit concerning. After all, she doesn't seem much older than a teenager..."

"Your askin' for specifics? From a jokethattechnicallyisn'tajoke? I only know one definition, actually. No, wait, two of them. One of them is havin' stones thrown at you, which didn't happen. She's actually not that much younger than me, and I ain't even an adult... yet."
{His words carried with them a similar sense of ecstatic idiocy that his tone had contained from the start, indicating further to a wild nature and perhaps some mental issues. He gestured in various methods to assist the ideology of his silly antics. Despite how he appeared.}

The Dragonair sighed and shrugged. This Samurott was quite the strange one, to say the least. Though he didn't seem unpleasant, really. "Well, those two were what I meant," she replied. "Still, I suppose I'm not quite an adult either, yet. I'd like to say I'm close."

{The water type Pokémon sighed in an over dramatic manner, his eyes returning to look at the Dragonair as he made a response.}
“Promise it wasn’t that bad. Other than being sent to another reality that was like a nightmare. Only more literal. Did you tell me your name or is my memory bad?”

"That...sounds bad to me, but as long as you're mostly fine now..." she replied, looking off to to the side a bit before looking back and smiling. "I don't think we introduced ourselves, actually. I'm Serena..."

"Everyone that doesn't know me well calls me The One. Mostly because my name is kinda diverged from the word for that in another language. Is that the right term?"
{His hand rose to his chin as he pondered the terminology, his gaze shifting upwards during this. The Samurott returned his gaze to the draconian serpent after this, still appearing a little on the creepy side.}
"So... did you hapen to see anyone else wash up on shore or out at sea or was it just us?"

The Dragonair shook her head. "I only saw the two of you already lying on the beach..." she replied. "So...I suppose I would call you 'The One' as well? It'd be a bit awkward, honestly, unless it could be combined to sound like an actual name. 'Thawon'? 'Thuwin'?" She seemed to ponder for a bit.
