It had been a week since the group of Pokemon set sail on their sailing travel ship, the Inevitable. The ship was fit with a gigantic sail that towered over the deck, along with several others. The crew was busy at work cleaning the deck and cooking for the travelers that rode along. One of the crew members, a Golduck, walked over to one of his Samurott guests on the ship.
"Well, sir, looks like we should be at our destination in just another day," he explained to him. "How's your time on the Inevitable been so far?"

{The salty sea air (mm, salty), what a wonderful thing. That was, unless you'dve gotten sick of it. Some enjoyed such air, such as the Samurott being addressed by a crew member whose name we don't bother with.}
"Good. I have enjoyed the voyage thus far. Is there any beverages available at the present moment?"
{Moving on from the generically place NPC interaction, we head to the sight of another Samurott, conversing with the mythical Pokémon Keldeo. The water type duo were below deck conversing about the state of the ship, with the youth of the Swords of Justice seemingly whinning of a lack of fresh berries.}
"Can't we stop somewhere and get something? I'm so hungry. . ."
"You JUST ate two thirds of an entire Basculin and you're saking you're still hungry? Really Keldeo? Your complaining is almost as irritating as the passengers! And they're consistently demanding wine! WE DON'T HAVE WINE!"
{Thankfully this boat had a thiccer hull to protect from cannons, otherwise the ludicrous shouting of the samurai otter below deck would've been heard. Yes, the deck is thiccer too. As the two water types argued, even though it was completely one-sided, the apointed captain stepped from their quarters to gaze upon the deck of the ship. The presence of the leader of four silenced the crew if they were to speak against them. Such noble presence was met with bows of respect.}

"Sounds like a lot of 'whine' to me..." one bystander commented before he and many of the deckmates saw and stood at attention for the leader of the Swords of Justice, Cobalion.

[Standing among the crewmen was the Cavern Pokémon, Terrakion. Upon seeing their leader, the rock and fighting type simply smiled, moving to greet the fellow Sword of Justice. The mighty legendary spoke with a calm tone, still with a grin upon their face.}
"Seems like things have been moving along well. I heard we'll reach our destination soon."
"Excellent. Is Virizion and Keldeo aware?" [Cobalion replied, turning only their head to gaze at their comrade.]
"They sure are. Monado's down below deck with Keldeo now."
"Understood."
[With the small conversation having passed, the steel and fighting type Pokémon simply nodded to the crew before heading towards the lower deck, within the hardened hull of The Inevitable.]
{Meanwhile...}
"No. No, bad. No touchy. Go to your room."
{Monado slapped away the hoof of the youthful Sword of Justice from a flintlock rifle he was checking, the Colt Pokémon seemingly sighing before they softly walked off in the general direction of where Virizion was. Just as the water and fighting type passed the stairs to the upper level, the individual who walked down carefully was enough to halt Keldeo's movement instantly. It didn't take a genius to realise who it was, as you probably get that by now. Otherwise, I am very disappointed in you.]
"C-Cobalion."
"You seem down. Is something the matter?"
"N-No. . ."
"Speak honestly, Keldeo."
"Monado slapped my hoof and told me to go to my room."
"I see."
"TO BE FAIR, KELDEO DID TRY TO TOUCH MY GUN." {Monado shouted from halfway across the boat.}
[Cobalion simply rolled their eyes from Monado's comment.]

The Golduck crewmember looked up at the sky above, seeing a group of rather large clouds headed towards them from the direction they came from. "That's strange..." he said, raising a brow. "There wasn't that kind of cloud cover in that direction 30 minutes ago..."

[It took only a mere second for the Cavern Pokémon to stride up next to the Golduck with an expression of concern. It seemed obvious they too see the clouds and were concern as well.]
"A storm brewing?"
[Meanwhile, beneath the deck...]
[Cobalion was speaking with Virizion and Keldeo with some of the passengers while Monado continued the maintenance of his gun. His gaze shifted to one of the armed cannons aboard the ship, his mind recalling the times the cannon was used.}
"I kinda miss the thrill of battle aboard this ship... kinda seems odd that a fully armed war ship is being used for passenger transport. Then again, no one else could do the job..."

"It's coming in increadibly fast..." the Golduck spoke, the clouds already coming close to the sun in a matter of seconds, the gusts growing harsher and faster by the moment. "What in the world? It can't..." There as something making its way beneath the waves, about to move its way swiftly beneath the ship, glowing markings visible from its silhouette. "Kyogre..."

[Terrakion's eyes went wide when their own gaze identified the shadowed form of the Ocean legend, their heart rate increasing as they turned to charge for the hull interior.]
"Cobalion! We have a problem! And it's big!"
[As the rock and fighting type thundered down into the hull's interior, the leader of the Swords of Justice rushed to meet them, having Virizion and Keldeo both in tow.]
"What is it Terrakion?"
"Kyogre! It just swam underneath the ship, and It's bringing a storm with it!"
"What?!" [Cobalion exclamed, their own eyes widening as they moved to begin gathering the passengers to the hull interior.]
"Everyone! Underneath the deck, now!"

But by the time the warning was dealt, a huge force shook the ship with enough to make many of the passengers lose their balance. The clouds already covered the sky and rain began pouring down from above as the waves began shifting the ship to and fro.

[Even upon the moment of impact that had caused the sudden lurch that had knocked even Cobalion off balance, the ship refused to receive damage and kept moving. The iron will Pokémon called out again as they moved to assist the passengers who required aid. The other three Swords soon emerged themselves to begin working to prevent the worst, followed soon by other crew who were working to bring down the one who was currently in the crow's-nest.]
{Monado, on the other hand, wasn't too pleased by the sudden interruption of his thinking while maintaining his gun, bursting to the deck with a pistol on his person. He had been the only one so far to not notice the storm until arriving on-deck. Regardless, he knew exactly what he needed to do. Apparently, this also meant being thrown to the port sidelike a ragdoll and hittingnthe wodden railings. Thankfully the railing, despite not being too high or the sturdiest design, still held him and prevented him from going overboard.}

The torrential downpour, blistering winds and colossal wave only grew worse in little time. The top of the deck was slippery and those beneath the deck had to grip something in order to keep themselves from impacting each other, not even to say about the terrible situation above them. The crew worked bravely to try and bring as many sails down and get as many Pokemon to safety, but the weather made it increasingly difficult, making any floors or railings slippery...

{Slippery, fantastic. Monado just loved sliding along the deck when he's trying to work. Fortunately, The formidable Pokémon was good at tolerating the rain, performing at an even higher standard when wet. His efforts only assisted the crew in causing the work that was necessary to be done, allowing the sails to be raised and the crew member to be retrieved. While most had been done, some of the Swords of Justice had begun to experience difficulty in staying onboard, the dampened deck making stability all the more difficult. The winds didn't help either, as the grassland Pokémon had known all too well. Virizion felt uncomfortable within such winds, their typing making the situation the worst for anyone.]
"Be careful not to go overboard! Most of us can't swim well enough to get back!"
{Monado's shouts came as a sound of lesser audibility than what he had expected, his attention focused on closing the trapdoor to the hull interior to prevent more water to leak in.}

The hull would be difficult to close, but not impossible for the Samurott. The storm did not relent as some passengers were still on the deck. Many were starting to feel much of the effects of the storm, but another sharp ram from the waves could be enough to knock off and send a smaller Pokemon flying...

{Those who remained upon the deck were either crew or remaining passengers being headed for the Captain's quarters. One such smaller Pokémon was a poor Cyndaquil who wore a water resistant overcoat for protection against the rain, despite her appearance, she was a part of the crew, being a close associate of Monado. In the efforts to attempt to head towards the Captain's quarters due to the risk of the storm growing too great, the small fire type gasped as she noticed a larger wave, righ before it struck the ship.}
[As the oncoming wave struck the boat with greater force than anything before it, the unfortunate fire type was sent flying from the ship and into the raging, lethal waters. However, she was not the only one to inevitably fall. Cobalion had been standing relatively close to the edge when the wave struck, as they had been guiding the passengers towards their quarters. The force of the wave was enough to cause the iron will Pokémon to slip oonto the railings, their two front legs desperately attempting to find something to grip before the steel and fighting type sliped into the ocean below. Keldeo screamed as their leader fell, their tone filled with terror.]
"COBALION!"
"Cyndaquil!
{Monado yelled as he instantly dove after the fire type, ignoring the Sword of Justice leader due to the fact that they could at least swim. Cyndaquil couldn't. As it had turned out, two other Pokémon nearly fell off as well, but had managed to stay on by the railings. The duo were an Alolan Ninetales an an Absol, both female and currently soaked to the skin.}

As the others struggled to stay on the boat, a possibly losing battle, a sharp gust of wind blew against one of the last remaining sails, breaking pieces of the mast as they fell into the water. Bad news, the ship would have difficulty navigating with one less mast. Good news, the mast and several of the strong, wooden pieces made good floating devices for the overboard Pokemon...
