Kaa sat on a tree in the beautiful tree. He was dark gold, with brown spots, and was huge, stretching through the tree with his tail. He often slept, as the forest he was in was very quiet. He did admit it, he liked it this way. He was not very much of a social person. But he awaited for something interesting. It had been quiet for a long time, at least a few weeks, and the forest was quiet. What Kaa did not know was that the silence would soon be broken, by an interesting creature of sorts.

{The jungle was home to many creatures of various shapes sizes and traits. Each and every one made its home in the perfectly balanced ecosystem nature itself put in place. Even amidst the vast expanse of green, brown and blue, the appearance of a creature that bore upon its form armour constructed from a material equivalent to shells and a body of blue that resembled an otter was jarring and strange for those unfamiliar with such a creature.}
{Silence, a thing that was often associated with peace, tranquility and clarity. Many appreciated such silence for the clarity it gave them. Silence was easier to obtain for some, especially those who were capable of diving into the depths of water. Naturally, the silence of being underneath the surface of the water was calming, creating an environment that acted as a method of relief from stress and anxiety. That was, until the surface would came to explode from the form of a being that had made its way from other locations.}
{Calling this creature interesting was an understatement, as it bore upon it's limbs plates of shell armour that provided both protection and an option for parrying blows, along with a helmet of rather great size that had a horn protruding form it, acting as another means of attack and a means of threatening an opponent in combat. The horn had two spikes coming from it at about halfway up, one on the upper side and one on the bottom. The body of this creature was blue, save for it's underside, which bore a lighter shade of blue than the rest. It had a large beard and mustache of white fur growing from its face as it if were aged and wise. It was clear that such a creature was both dangerous at first glance and clearly not one native to such a land.}
"Damn, I thought I'd get my horn stuck in a piece of wood again. Again, like I do every third leap from the water I make."
{The eyes of the otter-like creature came to take in the sight of green and brown as they made an conscious effort to examine the surrounding they now found themselves within. To those who may have inevitably come to hear the voice of this peculiar being, they would only hear what could be assumed was it's name over and over, taking parts or the whole word as the method of communication. That was, for creatures who lacked individuality. Now the seemingly aquatic creature begun to walk calmly towards a natural pathway that they had come to see while making examination of their surroundings, walking without much worry or care for danger with the knowledge of their skills. The bushes that invaded the path the otter-like being took proved to be of minimal worry, being nothing but a distraction from the simple walk the samurai-like otter took as a means of taking in the sights.}
"Tree, another tree, another tree, another tree, another tree- Why am I bothering to count trees? Shouldn't I be doing something at least semi-productive? Why am I talking to myself? It's not like anyone can understand me. Well, at least those reading this roleplay can hear me. Hell, they can probably understand me as well."
{The water type creature questioned themselves as they made their way through the path they had chosen, blissfully ignorant of the creatures scuttling along throughout the jungle. Their form strided beyond the tree that held the serpentine creature with his words becoming audible to the snake, though only barely due to the distance they had to travel.}

Kaa was nearly asleep. He had felt as if, throughout his life, he was considered a loner. Indeed, since his birth, he had to survive on his own, but he liked it this way. He loved being alone, even though he longed for attention, he defintly did not hate being left alone. He also wanted to be looked at as a superior figure when he had the chance to. Kaa often was not an adversary, animals felt as if he was not powerful, oh they were mistaken.
Kaa had been a big fan of naps. He was just about to sleep before hearing something. He lifted his soft head off of the tree branch, "What could that be?" Kaa asked, with a sense of interest yet annoyance. He often slept for days on end, dreaming about what he had wanted. It seemed as if this was the time where that dream would have been answered. He looked off into the distance, admiring the beauty of the forest, he looked, checking if what he had heard was not his own imagination.
Then he saw it, a figure standing in the distance, a curious figure indeed. "Why, yesssssss, he ssshall be interessting." Kaa had said to himself, excited about what he was seeing. He had waited if the creature would come over to him, wondering if he would come to his particular tree, as it was enormous and looked vacant, oh how wrong they would be if that thought was true.

{The water type being stopped for a moment after passing by a tree somewhat closer to the serpent's location, their eyes scanning the area in a sense of curiosity. Normally the ideology of being within wilderness with no sense of protection other than your own skills was a nerve-racking thought, but not for this individual. The samurai-like otter had always been capable of feats many thought impossible by the standards of their species and survival within uncharted territory was one of them. As the foreign creature gazed upon the scenery that was laid out before them, there eyes came over the sight of a larger tree than those of their surroundings. Excellent, big trees always were a good sign within a jungle. The otter-like creature smiled to themselves as they gaze upon the tree, beginning to walk towards it with only a single intent: Climb.}
{Of course, this aquatic individual was unable to spot a massive serpent within the tree form the distance they were at, what's worse is that they thought nothing of anything that may live in said tree. They only assumed their presence would be ignored due to his intentions of merely using it as a vantage point for observation of the jungle. Alas, their assumptions were but a curse upon their mindset. The approach was nothing but a simple task of walking for the samurai otter to embark on, with few obstacles proving worthy of attention. One thing the aquatic creature did that many would not was to watch their steps alongside of keeping track of the path ahead, gazing up every so often at the tree they sought to climb. One thought kept them from blindly rushing in and attempting to make a climb without a care in the world; being caught of guard. Many a times had this aquatic being been surprised and almost defeated by surprise attacks, proving their wits were slaking in those scenarios. Not this one.}

Kaa looked down and saw the aquatic creature up close. He was excited. This was going to be very interesting. "I ssshall get hissssss intention." Kaa said to himself, he often had to talk to himself as he had no one else to talk too. When he was born, he learned to survive on his own, and since adulthood, he stayed away from everyone. He grew used to it, but he wanted something better, something exciting.
Kaa decided it was time too get his attention. He put the very end of his tale to where the creature was, and pulled him up to the highest branch of the tree, in order to get his attention. His coils were soft, and felt good to the touch, as delicate and untouched as they were, they seemed to just get softer and bigger, something that could be used to Kaa's advantage.

{Had the aquatic creature let their guard down, they would've made for an easy target. This wasn't the case at all. Even if the serpentine being that dwelled within the tree had made an attempt to bring the samurai-otter further up into the tree,the effort would be rendered either pointless or dangerous. However, it would gain the attention of the creature either way. As the otter-like being approached the great tree that the snake was dwelling within, their eyes scanned for potential points to begin their climb. Unfortunately they came up almost blank, leaving them staring up at the trunk for about a minute in contemplation of methods to climb.}
"I can't just stick my swords in it, the wood's probably too thicc and the swords can't support my whole weight. That and the wood will give way or the swords will become loose from not going deep enough."
{That was when it hit him. A smooth, long object made contact with their flesh. The water type creature shifted their gaze to meet the object, taking notice of it and where it had originated. Their expression contorted to one of curiosity as their gaze remained upon the tail, being unaware of what it truly was. Even so, the samurai-like otter merely poked the object before feeling it with their arm. The creature made little effort to grasp it, not that they were willing to place their life within the grasp of this thing to lift them upwards, but little other option seemed to be available. Even if the tail had moved to attempt to loop itself around the body of the otter, they would have merely moved to prevent this, using force if it were necessary.}

The large snake watched from above, and gently gripped one of the aquatic's front legs and pulled it up. It was not threatening, and felt comfortable. Kaa had planned to learn who this mysterious creature was, and see if he would be good enough for his hypnotic powers. As his hypnotic powers were strong, they could subdue any animal that he had come in contact with. "Very interesssting." Kaa said this while lookingat how the creature reacted, with a sudden amount of indifference, seeing if he was harmless. He was right. Kaa was not harmless in the traditional sense, but he had thought about using his hypnotic powers on the creature, too change his thoughts and his mind. He brought him up to the top of the tree, gently and slowly.

{While normally the sight of a tail wrapping around one of the limbs of their body was not exactly the most comforting thought, the samurai-like otter seemed almost curious of the lengthy object, their eyes scanning it's origins as best as they could. After some thought, the otter decided to take a bold step into the unknown, allowing the long object to assist in their accent to the apex of the tree. Of course, the aquatic samurai seemed very intent on using the tree as a means of support no matter the assistance they got, using as much strength they needed to attempt to make leaps to branches when they came. The creature leaped from one branch to another when they had come to the high portions, failing to slip as they seemed to almost effortlessly glide from one branch to another in their accent. Despite the assistance they would inevitably receive from the tail, the samurai-like creature move in ways along the branches that made further assistance to their movements more and more difficult.}
"Guess whatever this is isn't going to choke me to death or something, I think."
{Whether or not their suspicions of the object's intent were correct or not, the otter-like creature was not one to take any more chances with such unknowns. Their body eventually made an effort to lose the tail at some point when they reached the branches, seemingly intent on making the rest of the way up on their own.}

Kaa had seen this creatures resistance. In a way, he liked it. The ones who had resisted him often quickly changed their minds, on eway or another. Kaa had thought, unlike his original idea, he would have to lure him into trust, and then get him into his control. Kaa pointed his tail up to the tree, innocently. He had expected this creature of some sorts to listen to him, as the tail was anything but threatening.
Kaa's body was soft to the touch, and anyone would have wanted to touch it forever, perhabs this creature would want to, he just had to wait and see. There was no one out for miles, so Kaa had all the time in the world to lure this creature into his trust. "Come up, I ssssswear there issssssss nothing to fear..." Kaa said innocently.

{Branch to branch, the samurai otter leaped. In their movements through the tree as their means of ascending to the apex, the aquatic creature made little effort to pay much attention to the serpentine tail, only having used it as a way to make the first step of the accent. Now, however, the voice of a creature the samurai-like being lacked the knowledge on came from above, seemingly inviting the Pokémon up further into the tree. The otter didn't trust such a voice, not yet at least. As soon as the voice had spoken, the water type creature stopped their accent to gaze towards the source of the sound in curiosity. Their response came only moments after, seemingly being a not-exactly-friendly response.}
"What makes you think I'm dumb enough to think I'm just going to instantly trust you and fall into a trap? I've seen enough movies to know where this is going. I'm just trying to get to the top for vantage anyway."
"... I have no idea what a movie is."
{With their response being made, the aquatic creature continued to make their way up the tree, keeping their guard up at all times to prevent anything from making a move on them.}

Kaa spoke. "Come up, it issssss ssssssafffe" he said, almost laughing. He wanted this aquatic creature to feel safe and right at home, as it seemed likely this tree would be his home, through Kaa's powers, any sort of opinion could change in an instant.
He saw that the creature was climbing up and decided to stay quiet. Kaa was an odd person in the jungle, finding no one who suited him, he often remained alone. Ever since childhood he was alone, and got used to it. This would be a new expierence.
His coils longed for a being to be wrapped in them, it would feel perfect, and this being seemed like the perfect one.

{The water type simply sighed to themselves as they heard these words. Didn't this thing hear him? The samurai-like otter simply continued their accent towards the canopy of the tree, seemingly avoiding the source of the voice they were hearing. With every branch they lept to, the closer the top was.}
"What do you even want anyway? I'm literally just trying to have a vantage point to use for observation. It's not like-"
{The otter-like creature was abruptly cut off by the sound of a tree branch breaking, as it inevitably was one they had moved to. The samurai-like otter soon plumeted towards the ground with fear evident within their eyes. There were some branches to possibly catch the creature as they fell, but they would not come out of any such fall unscathed.}

The Snake saw the falling aquad, and was worried, not for his sfaety, but for the lack of hypnosis he will have put onto him. Immediatly, Kaa used his tale to wrap around one of the aquadic creature's legs and pulled him up. "Are you Okay?" kaa asked.

{The branches below seemed to rocket closer and closer, threatening to make a painful impact upon contact. However, the impact never occurred, as something wrapped around one of the legs of the samurai-like creature. It felt like the leg was almost ripped off from the momentum being brought to such a sudden halt. The otter was helpless within this position they were within now, as they were dangling within the air with only the serpent's tail keeping them from falling.}
"Ooow, my leg- My joint, my- well, at least I'm not dead. T-Thanks, by the way..."
{As the samurai-like otter was dragged upwards, they did not show intent on stopping the new method of accending, though this was mostly due to their leg at this point. They did make some attempt at gazing towards the creature that had saved them, though it was not much of an effort.}
"I guess I'm at your mercy now... I'm gonna guess you saved me either to gain my trust or because you actually don't want me to be mortally wounded."

The snake pulled the aquatic creature up. It felt great to finally do something after so many years of quietness. This weird creature looked promising for Kaa's plans, and he was very excited to see how he would react.
"Are you okay?" kaa asked innocently.
The creature was heavy, and was anything but weak. Kaa had been waiting for someone to act as strong as they appear. It was funny as he could change their brave decorum to obedient friend, in only a few seconds. Kaa was large, but did not want the aquad to see him as being threatening, that would ruin his plan.
