Kaa bowed down, wanting to show the creature's superiority. He liked to be a groveler, and it seemed as if everyone thought he was a loyal citizen, and in a way, that was exactly what he was.
"I am well, ssssssir. May I sssssay, isssn't it nicce out. Perfect for a sssiessta."
Kaa liked to small-talk people, as if small talk was his charm, and it was. He continued to bow his head, and show his respect to this superior creature, wanting to show him his respect. He kept the coils around the samurai, which were comfortable to the touch, his hypnosis also gave the samurai beautiful, real-like dreams.

[Whether a loyal or a rouge, it mattered not to the Unovan legend. It always ended the same, with the creature's authority claiming dominion over all that lived within the land. Yet, the noble standing creature was never tyrannical or evil, acting as a responsible, trustworthy leader with countless years of experience held within their mind. Facing the snake addressing them with only their eyes, the four-legged being made it's response in telepathic form as they did for all.]
"Yes. It is a pleasant day. I would assume you would be using the day for acceptable purposes?"
[The mere fact that a creature that had enslaved the mind of a powerful, skilled being capable of besting even the noble leader now standing before the serpent was bowing to them spoke a thousand words without a single being formed from a mouth. Even though the aquatic being was mysterious in many ways, the sense of skill from their aura matched the aura given off by the four-legged being. In and of itself, this was subtle, but enough for some to identify what the samurai-like otter could truly be like.]

Kaa bowed his head in response, he had sucked up to Cobalion for a long time, and had intended it to stay this way, unless this creature intended to take his prize. He liked this, as it seemed like Kaa was a trustworthy ally, if not a full on friend, but he was known as socially awkward, and weird.
"I wasssss jusssst going to take a sssssssiesssta. Do you sssssssleeep and take napsssss?"
Kaa loved to small talk individuals, and it often worked in his favor, as he was looked at as a trustworthy individual.

[No matter how the serpent decided to view his relationship with the noble creature before him, the iron will Pokémon's viewpoint would remain as a matter of merely wild creature to noble protector and leader. At first, the steel and fighting tye had not taken full notice of the otter's form up within the tree, which worked to Kaa's benefit. While they still had yet to locate the aquatic warrior, their suspicions remained fresh of something or someone having encountered the sly serpent.]
"You should know just as well as any that I sleep within the same hours as most."

Kaa smiled. He loved the small talk as he kept the coils around the samurai. He wanted the samurai to dream about something so he does not wake up. Kaa thought of Cobanoid as a friend, even if Cobranoid has been around for thousand of years, as a grown up, Kaa knew Cobranoid better. " I know, but it isssss a niccce day to take a ssssssiesta."
Kaa continued to bow his head, he loved to be on his side, perhaps some day Cobanoid could loom at Kaa as one of his most trusted allies.

[To say that the steel and fighting type legend even knew the snake before them well was almost a lie, as their concern lied with the protection of this land from the threats it may face. While they mainly fended off humans, they were duty-bound to the protection of Pokémon above all else. This meant that, if they were to discover the otter's form, Kaa wouldn't be in a pretty situation. Of course, Cobalion couldn't see Monado's form wrapped within the coils from where they were, nohr did they look hard enough to find any hints to it. Either way, the Sword of Justice was fine with small talk but often had little time for such things.]
"Only if one requires it. I would understand for one such as yourself to rest at a time such as this."

Kaa smiled. He tried to look charming, even if he was the farthest from it. Kaa was a quirk known around the jungle. kaa wouldn't be shocked if Cobalion thought Kaa was odd, and weird. But Kaa tried to use this to his advantage as he often acted out of the ordinary to rise in trust. "Mussst I asssssk, why have you visssited."
kaa said this, keeping his hold on the samurai.

[As a method of responding to the actions of the snake, The legendary Pokémon of the Unova region simply did nothing more than to redirect their gaze towards the serpent as their expression narrowed in a sense of authority.]
“I merely decided to stop by after I had heard suspicions activity from your tree. You singing is not a common thing to occur, and often tells me you have some sort of individual up there with you.”
[Cobalion was never one to bother with thinking about whether The serpentine creature before them was unorthodox or weird, as the ideology was something that never came to their mind. nevertheless, they were certainly suspicious of what the snake pulls off when they’re not around, which had prompted a closer watch of the snake when they could.

Kaa smiled. This was the perfect time to question the superior why he would think of this. He often did not know if Cobanoid would be around, and this statement proved it.
"Why would you know I don't sssssssing often. I sssssssing all the time."
Kaa continued to bow his head, and put more coils on to the samurai up in the tree, to increase his relaxation.

[The iron will Pokemon did nothing more than eye the snake in suspicion of his words, clearly no fooled so easily by the serpent's words and cunning voice. The Unovan legend was often difficult to fool in the first place, being one who observed before jumping yo conclusions. The glare that the Sword of Justice gave inflicted the feeling of intimidation that could install fear into even the bravest of hearts, a glare that made even the most unruly of creatures obey it.]
"That is a lie, as I have been keeping an especially close eye upon you. You have only sung on the occasion of encountering another."

Kaa found this hilarious. Sure, he definitely never sang alone, but he had not encountered any creature besides this fine samurai fit for his coils, who, at the moment, he did not want to unwrap.
"I don't ssssssing to anyone. Ever sssssince I have been an adult, I ssssstay away from people."
Kaa said this, still bowing his head. He tightened his coils in a comfortable way around the samurai.

[The expression the noble creature held only further scowled in suspicion of the serpent, their glare staring directly into the very soul of the snake as they found annoyance within their actions apparently amusing this snake. Cobalion wasn't buying the lies being told, having previous knowledge of the serpent's sly actions within the past.]
"That only makes me further concerned. What are you hiding?"

The sly snake looked up innocently. He would try to act as honest as possible. After all, this creature still did not know about the captive above, and that was okay for him. This creature, who has remained the same age and size the entire time Kaa was around, amused the snake.
"Well, have I ever fooled you. After all, you looked down on me when I wasssssss only a kid." He said this, tightening the coils around his captive.

"No. You have not. However, that does not mean I will simply ignore any attempts you make. If you believe you are truly innocent, then you will allow me to view your form."
[Such innocence was nothing new to the leader of four, their steely gaze remaining steadfast in resilience to the attempt trickery. Their gaze shifted towards the confines of the tree as they spoke of seeing the serpent's form, intending on making sure there was no way for the snake to fool them, if they even were.]

The snake sighed. He had to find a way to fool this magnificent creature. But he came up with a way to fool, in a slightly funny way. "Ssssssure." He took his tail down from the cocoon of the samurai. "Ssseeeee. Nothing here." The snake also put the tail near his mouth, joking a little bit.
