Kaa probably could have gotten away with pampering the girl's feet this time around. After all the walking she had done on the serpent's coils, her soles were a little more desensitized to things than they had been earlier. That wasn't to say it wasn't a risk to try and take advantage of her weaknesses, but...perhaps for the best, Kaa decided to go after her in...other ways...
As she was swung too and fro, there were moments where the snake let his tongue slip out to lick along her tummy as it slide by. It was a nice sensation that left her giggling lightly in her sleep. She was a tad ticklish, after all. But unlike earlier, it was easier to slip into her sleep and not to risk waking up due to an overload of pleasure like treatment to her feet would have been. The treatment was just good enough to provide her some amusement while also pushing her just a little deeper into the slumber the snake wanted her to be in...
The rocking motion of the hammock seemed to go on for...a decent amount of time before Kaa decided what he wanted to do next. Emiko didn't really receive any word or warning as to what he was planning or wanted to do. At least, not so directly. She did receive a straight out order to not speak anymore until she was in his belly. But...that was it before the coils unraveled and sent Emiko on yet another little trip.
This trip wouldn't be as long or require much on her part as walking down the flight of stairs had before. But it was still a load of fun for the slumbering girl as Emiko found herself sliding along the snake's wonderful scales and relished them grinding against her body. As nice as the ride was though, it was when she reached her final destination that she felt the absolute most pleasure.
With a mound of coils under her, the slumbering girl's body effortlessly slid into a waiting cocoon that swiftly sealed her within. It locked her legs together and her arms to her side leaving her with only her head and feet sticking out of either ends of the mound. And the transition to this scaly prison as well as the cocoon itself was so wonderful that it left Emiko's body fidgeting with joy.
Kaa would be able to feel Emiko's heart skip a beat in utter joy as a long shiver ran up her own spine. She let out the cutest, yet delicate little moan of bliss momentarily breaking her forced vow of silence before falling quiet again. The reaction wasn't unlike how she felt when the serpent teased her soles. But this was far more subdued and simply an excited reaction to how she was deposited into the cocoon as well as being put there in the first place. In the moments that followed, she'd nestle her cheek into the coils around her neck gently, smile even wider and go limp in total trusting-bliss...
It seemed her fate in that moment was sealed. And it became even more so as the serpent again reiterated that she had to be quiet and go to sleep. Strangely ahead of Kaa for the first time, it was barely a second that had passed when Kaa issued that order that he'd hear a new sound out of Emiko that hadn't been there before. Out of her smiling lips came this sweet little snore showing that...she was already asleep and his words just pushed her a little deeper. A rather hilarious gesture considering that a predator was smacking his lips and opening his mouth wide in preparation to dine... And yet...Emiko might yet find herself saved from her peril. Or at least partially delay it. For, as soon as the snake proceeded to satisfy his hunger, ringing out from the ground below were shouts calling for the very girl within the snake's coils... Someone...knew Emiko was missing and calling out her name looking for her.

Kaa’s jaws stretched wide.
His hot breath gently buffeted his quite willing meal, her hair ruffled as he brought her snoozing form closer and closer to the cavernous maw. Anyone who glanced down the serpent’s open mouth would’ve seen little than a dark tube of pink flesh, ready to send its prey deep down into his waiting gullet. The starving snake slowly lowered himself towards his cocooned prey, coils shifting as he prepared to adjust him so he could gulp down her entire frame.
Emiko’s smiling head approach the open maw, blissfully unaware of the fate about to befall her.
Kaa’s tongue rolled out to sample her flesh one last time…
…Kaa paused.
The serpent pulled himself away from his dinner with no small amount of reluctance, a flash irritation marring his features even as something hopeful stirred deep within his coils. His tongued flickered out again, forked ends sampling the air currents to confirm what he’d sensed mere seconds ago…that it hadn’t been a hunger fueled illusion from Emiko’s scent.
…his tongue flickered.
…it wasn’t.
There was another scent.
One that was approaching rather quickly.
I could simply eat her.
He did have this foolish little girl-cub rather secure now that he’d deepened her trance – it’d take a rather large shock to break her free from her mental domination never mind the mountain of coils. The wily snake had little reason to distract himself with another dinner guest.
Yet…
…there was an appeal in having two cubs feeding his gullet.
Man-cubs were a delicacy around these parts…could he really afford to pass up the opportunity?
He’d regret it later.
Maybe…maybe he could just check first.
If this new prey wasn’t appealing, he could simply carry on with his feast in peace.
Yes, that seemed the best course of action.
“I’m afraid we’ll need to put our dinner date on pause, morsel,” Kaa whispered, gently shifting the coil cocoon grasping Emiko up to a rather sturdy tree branch high up in the canopy of foliage – well out of sight from anywhere on the ground. It took a minute to adjust her properly, unspooling some of the coils to force her to sit cross-legged on the branch as the mound of coils pressed down on her, but she was secure enough once he was just.
“Just rest in peace while I go check on our new guest.”
With that, Kaa slithered down the tree.

Emiko was so dangerously close to being on her way to satisfying the snake's hunger. Her sleepy head oblivious to the peril was inches from the snake's waiting maw. She could feel his breath on her skin and even the bit of his tongue licking around her facial features getting a proper taste. She was almost a goner when suddenly...the snake just...stopped. Emiko had no way of knowing what was going on or...that anything was going on for that matter due to how deeply asleep she was. But whatever or...whoever was in the area had just saved her life for the moment...
There was a period of utter silence shortly after that where Emiko just slept letting Kaa ponder her fate. And after about a minute or so of silence, the serpent moved her slumbering form onto a sturdy branch for temporary safekeeping. The only clue Emiko was given initially as to what was happening was his words that told her that their dinner date was on pause for a moment. That was all she received and it did little to disrupt the slumber Kaa had put her in.
In the moments that followed, the serpent unwound the coils from around Emiko's legs where he would find them as limp as they were before. With a tiny bit of manipulation however, Emiko would find herself coming to sit cross-legged on the branch with the coils re-wrapping themselves around her body to conceal her once again. When it was all said and done, Emiko found herself in a new-ish mound of coils totally cocooned save for her head that leaned on the nearest coil to her right, snoozing away. She was quite secure at this point, camouflaged thanks to Kaa's coils, and away from any prying eyes or ears. His catch would be safe here until the 'danger' had passed. And despite all that, all Emiko could do was say...
"...O-okaaaay..." A cute-yawning confirmation that she would indeed rest in peace right here til Kaa got to check out his new guest. She wasn't going anywhere.
Down below as Kaa made his way down, he might hear the voices of not just one individual, but...many different ones. As he'd move closer to the ground, he might be able to see various lights scattered throughout the area hinting that the several different villagers were out looking for someone. And with the name 'Emiko' constantly ringing out, it was obvious that someone was Kaa's catch. As funny as it was to say, it was highly unlikely that anyone would have noticed the foreign girl's absence if not for Emiko's roommate. That girl was not only the one to discover that Emiko hadn't come home, but also her clothing on the ground at the base of Kaa's tree.
The girl that came into view was someone who went by the name, Natalie. Like Emiko, she was a foreigner to this land and a student visiting alongside her as part of the student exchange program. Though the two weren't really so close as to know each other as friends, they did spend their nights in the same house and had a decent bond. Enough so that when Emiko didn't come home that night, Natalie didn't hesitate to reach out to authorities for help and join them in the search.
As Natalie stumbled upon Emiko's tattered sash and fallen flats, Kaa would be able to see a girl traveling by the light of a flashlight. Contrary to the girl he had just captured earlier, Natalie was a girl with long black hair and a pair of dark brown eyes. She may have been pale skinned like Emiko was, but her attire was quite different. Consisting of blue jean pants, a black shirt, and a pair of flip-flops on her bare feet. It was obvious that...her style was a rather frantic dressing to get to the search for Emiko as soon as she possibly could. And it was a good thing, too. The timing couldn't have been more miraculous.
Kneeling down for a moment, Natalie took the time to examine the clothing that rested at her feet before nodding softly. She knew that no one in this area of India would dress in the style of clothing that lay here. So it most definitely had to be Emiko's! But where was she now? And why was her clothing laying here as scattered and tattered like it was? She wouldn't stay kneeling for long before Natalie stood up and yelled out to the villagers in the area.
"I found something! There are rags of clothing I'm convinced that my friend wears here on the ground! It's just that, but I know it's hers!"
A nearby searcher who happened to hear Natalie's calls waved his own flashlight to let her know that he had heard her. After that, he gave her a rather strict set of instructions that she needed to follow.
"Good, stay right there! I'm going to go inform the others and get a search party over here! Stay close to this area and search it out carefully in case she's nearby! I'll have a few others here to help in the next few minutes or so!
With that, the man would take off into the jungle to round up some other people leaving Natalie alone for the moment. Not a second after he had taken off however, Natalie began shining her flashlight about the jungle floor looking for more traces of her missing roommate. All the while, she went to shouting for Emiko yet again hoping that she was somehow nearby...
sadly for Kaa, if he hadn't been so careless to dismiss Emiko's clothing, he might have gotten away with everything and no one the wiser. However, now the village was searching for his prey. On the bright side, there was yet another inexperienced girl who would be left alone for a brief period. But...her constant screaming echoed far and wide and risked potentially waking up the very girl she was searching for... Going after her was certainly a gamble and a race against time. But ignoring her also had it's risks... Kaa didn't want to find out what an awakened Emiko might think after all he had done to her. In this case, it may not be so bad to go double or nothing and race the clock...

Lovely…
He supposed he’d been rather careless in discarding her garments, but it’d been a rather safe assumption that nobody would be looking for an outsider girl-cub such as herself. Certainly not in the size and force he was witnessing now, the tiny beads of light dancing across the jungle darkness, shattering whatever peace might be found by the creatures that called this place home.
How…human for them to come trampling in and ruin everything.
But he couldn’t afford to grouse.
If what that erstwhile human spoke the truth, this entire area would be swarming in the next few minutes as they searched for their lost girl-cub…who was currently several dozen feet above them in the tree canopy. While Kaa was confident enough that the dense foliage would shield any cursory search from below, it didn’t take a genius to put two and two together and try to search the tree where one found her discarded clothes.
I can’t stay here.
He’d been trapped by dozens of humans…and he didn’t like those odds.
Humans might be weak alone, but they could get nasty when grouped together.
Though relocating wasn’t much of an issue, his hunting grounds were rather vast and there were plenty of unoccupied spots he could stow himself and his prey away in for a time. Certainly long enough for this disruptive search party to die down…they usually only lasted a few days before the village finally accepted defeat and left their lost cubs to the jungle.
There was only one problem.
The girl-cub currently standing below his tree.
She’d clearly identified herself as Emiko’s friend…and something told him she wasn’t going to stop looking for her lost companion anytime soon. That in itself wasn’t much of an issue – there was only so much a single cub could accomplish – but she could very well force the village to keep searching if she was left to her devices. Now, losing a second girl-cub in such a short time frame was equally dangerous as it could invite a greater response…but if both these girl-cubs were outsiders their disappearance might calm things down.
…or maybe he was justifying to himself.
He was rather irritated this little thing had interrupted his dinner.
…and she did look delicious.
He would need to act fast.
That search party would be here any minutes, and he’d rather not take his chances.
He couldn’t play around her.
With a mastery of stealth one wouldn’t have expected from a creature of his immense size, Kaa slowly worked his coils down the tree being extra cautious as to not disturb any of the foliage or branches and create a noise that might alert his new prey below. His tail reached down to the ground behind the still oblivious brunette, slowly sneaking its way towards her exposed ankles even as another coil lowered itself from above, hovering a few inches above her skull.
If she’d looked up, she would’ve been in for quite a fright.
But she didn’t.
It sealed her doom.
It was only when he was certain her guard was down that he struck.
The coil that hovered above her head fell from the sky, quickly wrapping around her mouth before she could even utter a single scream of surprise. He could feel her body tense as the realization sunk in that she was being attacked, but it didn’t matter. Even as his fingers reached up to claw at his coil there was little she could accomplish – these scales had stood up to bears and panthers, there was little chance a human’s fragile nails could pierce their defenses.
Satisfied she couldn’t call out, his tail struck next.
The narrow appendage quickly wrapped around her ankles and legs, pinning the young woman in place and bringing ruin to any notions of fleeing this swift and unexpected attack. Once satisfied that his new prey was secure in his grip (and that he hadn’t alert any of the other searchers) the serpent reeled the girl up into the tree akin to a fish on a line. She wiggled and struggled against is grip, and as he pulled her up to eye level, Kaa could see the spark of fear flash through her dark brown eyes.
“You’ve made a very serious mistake,” Kaa spat, scowling as she struggled in his grip. It was galling to have been so close to enjoying a delectable dinner and having it ruined by a brat with no sense of courtesy. Though as much as he wished he could show her the error of her ways, he unfortunately had more important matters to attend. “A very stupid mistake, in my opinion. You're going to stay here and stay quiet while I deal with your friends.”
The serpent drew her up further into the tree, well out of casual eyesight.
She was brought to rest in the same canopy level as Emiko…but not before wrapping her failing arms against her body and making absolutely certain she couldn’t utter more than a muffled whisper from behind her coil gag. He would’ve preferred to enthrall her before anything else, but he had no idea how long that would take and time was certainly not on his side right now.
Satisfied, Kaa moved back down the tree.
It took a moment, but the serpent quickly collected Emiko’s discarded clothing, along with the still lit flashlight her friend had been carrying before she’d dropped it in their little scuffle. Once certain he’d collected everything, Kaa tossed the offending items in the complete opposite direction that he would be traveling with his immense strength…hopefully that would buy him a few minutes.
And not a moment too soon.
He could see the search party approaching from the distance, dozens of lights flashing through the darkness.
Deciding that discretion was the better part of valor, the serpent rose back up towards into the canopy of foliage, coils shifting as he prepared himself for the journey deeper into the jungle with his two ‘guests’.
She'd better taste delicious.

As Natalie searched the jungle floor carefully, she had no idea what was laying in wait just above her... The serpent had set his eyes on her deciding that she was the biggest threat to his dinner date. And very soon, he would strike to take her out of the equation.
It all happened so fast... Natalie never once thought to shine her flashlight up into the trees thinking her friend would still be on the ground. As a result, she was totally taken off guard as Kaa suddenly thrust a coil over her mouth to gag her before she could get as much as a scream out. In utter shock, Natalie dropped her flashlight there on the ground and proceeded to claw at the snake's scales with her finger nails hoping to get free. Muffled screams escaped her lips, but no one more than a few feet could hear them. And all these futile efforts did was set her up for a greater assault... Within mere moments a few more coils were thrown around her legs locking them together and binding her feet at the ankles. A swift hoist up later and the prey had been secured... At least, initially...
After being lifted up into the trees, Natalie didn't exactly give up the fight to try and free herself. She proved to be far more feisty than the other girl Kaa had captured by attempting to free herself by thrashing about in the coils. This however proved to be a fruitless endeavor as the coils were beyond her strength. Still, she'd struggle to free herself until the snake addressed her for the first time. And when it spoke...it spooked her...
Kaa's ability to speak was an utter shock to Natalie as it had been to Emiko. And the way in which he spoke frightened her beyond all reason. It literally paralyzed her with fear for a moment trying to comprehend what the heck had just happened. Soon enough though, she'd again start to struggle fearful of what demon she had just discovered and what it might do to her... It...was during this brief struggle that Kaa applied a few more coils to her arms binding them to her side which had no fully incapacitated her. At this point, Natalie could struggle all she wanted, but...she wasn't getting free.
With his new catch secured, Natalie was hoisted up rather unwillingly to the canopy above where Emiko slept. All the while, she continued to struggle in vein to free herself getting no where in the process. And on and on she'd struggle, thrashing in the coils, letting out muffled screams all in an attempt to get free or be noticed. It was futile to a degree...But...the muffled screams happened to be just close enough for...one individual to hear...
Despite how deeply asleep Emiko was, the disruption Natalie caused was enough to rattle her slumbering form. After letting out a rather abrupt snore, Emiko slowly lifted her head up and let out a discomforted whimper. The whimper...was what caught Natalie's attention and she froze seeing her roommate in a mound of coils just a branch or so away! She had finally stopped resisting, but only because she couldn't believe to see Emiko where she was!
For the time being, Natalie would prove less of a problem as she tried to reason what was going on. But...Emiko was another matter... She had just had her sleep disrupted and was sitting up with a confused expression on her face. The poor girl was still quite docile and under the influence. Her half-lidded eyes opened to reveal the rings still flowing inside albeit slowly. She was far from awake, but wasn't quite asleep at the moment. Yet, she was teetering on going either way... And all of this was unfolding just as the search party was returning...
It was highly likely that the approaching team would take Kaa's planted evidence and go on their merry way to search for Natalie and Emiko both. But he had to ensure these two remained quiet and subdued before then... Natalie was too shocked to act right now leaving only a teetering Emiko as the only real threat. And that threat...could so easily be swayed back to sleep with minimal effort.

This stress would be the death of him.
The voices of the search party were growing fainter in the distance, following the false trail he’d left behind. He doubted it would fool them for long – especially when they realized the second girl-cub was missing, but their confusion should give him enough time to put some distance between them. There were a few spots deeper in his territory that would prove inaccessible for a human unless they were truly determined.
…hopefully they weren’t.
Satisfied that issue was at least partially dealt with, Kaa turned his attention to the other issue.
The girl-cubs.
Kaa’s serpentine snout rose from the darkness as an ill omen, golden eyes swiftly drinking in the scene before him and picking apart the details. His newly acquired ‘guest’ has ceased her struggling for the moment, dark eyes wide with fright and confusion as she stared upon the still slumbering form of her erstwhile friend. Now that he wasn’t in a panic fueled frenzy, the serpent could admit that she appeared just as delectable as Emiko…though this was obviously soured by just how much trouble she’d brought upon him.
He wasn’t an angry snake by nature, but he’d find some way for her to make up for this humiliation.
Serving as his appetizer would be a good start.
Focus.
Kaa shook his head.
He couldn’t allow his anger to consume his thoughts, not while he was still trapped in such a dangerous situation – those search parties could turn around at any second. The girl could pay for the indignity she’d offered later, right now he needed to get the three of them out of this tree and someplace safer. The serpent was sorely tempted to put the new girl-cub under his spell this very moment…but judging by how much she’d struggled not mere moments ago that was going to be an effort in of itself.
His power was inescapable, not irresistible.
There was also the matter of Emiko.
She was clearly still enthralled by his power, but it was clear the presence of her companion and her muffled shouting and stirred her from slumber. Spiraling eyes sluggishly blinked, her ever-present smile slightly eroded as an expression of confusion washed over her face. She was still held captive by his coils so escape was obviously impossible, but she could alert the search party with a poorly timed noise.
Kaa sighed.
Best nip this in the bud.
His coils shifted, slowly lifting Emiko off the branch in such a fashion as to not disturb her further and risk breaking the trance beyond what had already happened. Spare coils wrapped around her dangling legs even as he felt her friend resume her struggles from behind – completely futile of course. Her muffled screams were the only source of danger, but at this height in the tree only ones who’d notice above the shouting voices of the search party were himself and Emiko.
…and she wouldn’t be noticing much of anything in a moment.
“Sleep.”
There was no gentleness or subtlety in his command.
Just a single overriding order that was carved into her mind, further enforced by pulsing rings of spirals from his own gaze. Much as he would’ve preferred to guide her back into the trance peacefully, he really couldn’t take that risk. His hypnotic gaze unleashed its full might upon her without reservation, slamming into her slowly awakening consciousness not unlike the tide against a sandcastle. He even went as far as to press his forehead against her’s, filling her gaze with his own.
Even as the command took hold, Kaa adjusted Emiko’s cocoon, wrapping a coil around her mouth.
Just in case.
Kaa sighed.
Crisis slightly averted.
He turned towards his second guest, scowling.
…but he could indulge himself later.
For now, best to be on their way.
Despite his two companions, it took little effort on his part for his powerful muscles to carry through the canopy without so much as a sound – excluding the girl-cub’s muffled screaming, goodness she had a set of lungs on her – as he moved away from the rapidly expanding search party. Their lights still scoured the darkness for the missing girl-cubs, but it’d be all but impossible for one to spot him through the thick canopy of foliage.
Weaving through the trees, his tension rapidly diminished as the distance between then grew.
Until they were little more than faint shouts in the distance.
Not that he stopped.
He wasn’t taking any chances.
The girl-cub’s muffled screaming still called from within his grasp.
Kaa rolled his eyes.
“I do hope you don’t behave like this the whole trip.”

Kaa was certainly in a very dangerous predicament... One of his catches was wide awake and could begin resisting again at any moment. The second, while still in trance was starting to awaken thanks to the resistance of the other. And down below, a group of men were coming to inspect the rags left behind that Natalie had found. All of this seemed to be colliding at once and was making for a very dicey situation. Kaa would have had to act fast to secure his treasures and get away in one piece. And understanding that, he immediately went to work seeming to do just that...
Emiko seemed to be the first order of business, apparently. To her dismay, her confused-limp body was gently lifted off of the branch she was sleeping on for a bit of re-securing. It wasn't that Kaa's movements disrupted her trance as much as she was moved from SUCH a comfortable spot. While Kaa did his best to not interrupt things, Natalie wasn't so considerate. It was during this transition that she started to thrash and scream again doing her best to get Emiko's attention. To her own horror however, she'd find that would be quite difficult...
The half-tranced girl was so dazed that she barely paid Natalie any mind whatsoever. Instead, she felt the python slowly begin to coil her legs putting her back in a full body cocoon save for her feet and head. Seconds later, Kaa pushed his forehead against Emiko's allowed his spirals to flow at full throttle, and issued only a single, but stern command...
As it all unfolded, Emiko's eyes would open wide to take in the rings in their glory. As close as they were, they proved to be VERY potent. The rings carried Kaa's single command for her to sleep and it took root almost perfectly. The delivery was certainly a little rough and a risky bit, but it worked well enough under the circumstances. Emiko would only be able to stare into Kaa's eyes for a moment or so after this before her own slowly closed with the rings pulsing back at normal speed under her eye lids.
Settling back into that delicious sleep yet again, Emiko's dopey grin once more began to spread across her lips. It would barely be visible before her lips were swiftly covered up with an extra coil as a precaution to keep her silent. That said, Emiko hardly minded at all... She got to see those eyes, got to be put back to sleep, and was still being held so wonderfully... Whatever Kaa wanted to do to her was more than fine by her.
Truth be told, the sight of Emiko simply drifting back to sleep with merely a word was something that again startled Natalie beyond all reason. She again froze in that second unsure of how to process what she had just seen. Things would only get worse from here... The search party she alerted had just ran under the tree they were resting in expertly fooled by the snake's efforts. And now...that very snake was slithering through various trees with both girls in tow making their chances for rescue that much slimmer...
Kaa wouldn't have the faintest problem with Emiko was once more deeply asleep, enchantingly docile, and dreaming of beautiful whirling colors. Natalie on the other hand...might be a problem at various points. For a short leg of the trip, she was still in too much shock to make too much of a ruckus. And anytime she did, it would be short lived due to how exhausting it was to struggle... Even still, now helplessly bound as she was, even she wouldn't be able to stop Kaa from traveling to his newest destination. Kaa was certainly safe for now. But he'd still have to be careful on this little venture of his to not lose one of his catches, or be spotted with them...

They made good time, considering the circumstances.
While the girl-cubs didn’t weight much of anything compared to the immense mass of his coils, there presence offered a particular challenge as he weaved through the foliage canopy in utter silence…or at least as quietly as he could while the second girl-cub occasionally burst into muffled screams. Thankfully the distance they’d gained from the search parties was enough her voice faded into mere background noise (if it could even be heard at all) as they journeyed deeper into the dense jungle.
Yet Kaa didn’t relax.
Not even when the search party’s lights were slowly consumed by the inky darkness, the distance so great than even his night vision couldn’t penetrate the shroud of shadows. It was only once they arrived at their final destination after a not insignificant travel time that Kaa allowed himself to relax the slightest. A heavy sigh shuddered down his throat as he piled his coils through the tree that would serve as his temporary abode for now. It wasn’t nearly as large as the one they’d been driven from, but it overlooked a rather peaceful river that carved through the jungle floor – the presence of so much liquid offered a slightly more humid and cooler atmosphere than his other dwelling.
It was enjoyable enough.
But he still had matters to resolve.
The serpent examined his prey – both of them.
The reinforcement he’d placed on Emiko’s trance seemed to have done the trick.
Removing his coil gag from around her mouth revealed it still stretched into a massive grin, her eyes clamped shut tightly as she remained enthralled win the deep depths of the trance. It was galling that he’d been forced to resort to such inelegant methods, but he supposed he hadn’t had much of a choice in the matter. Satisfied that she wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon, Kaa quickly planted her cocoon further up the tree, safely stashing her away.
A dark glare turned towards his other guest.
“Now as for you.”
The coils that had been haphazardly wrapped around her supple form were quickly removed, plopping the helpless girl-cub atop a lone branch overlooking the river below. The sly serpent chuckled as he approached her slowly retreating form, backing her up towards the end of the branch, leaving her nowhere to go but the icy depths of the river below. The menacing scowl that etched itself across his snout was more than mildly terrifying, rather had odds with his preference to lull his prey into a false sense of security.
…he wasn’t bothering with that here.
He was still rather irritated at this girl-cub for her part in ruining his dinner.
Kaa wasn’t an angry serpent by nature, but there were some things you didn’t interfere with!
“That was rather rude of you to interrupt by dinner,” Kaa hissed, slowly closing the distance as he loomed before the apparently helpless girl-cub. His coils shifted in the branches above, his tail lowering behind her as she neared then of the branch. “So you’d better apologize.”
Kaa unleashed his spirals.
He made no effort to restrain himself.
Pulsing colors glowed with such intensity they weren’t unlike a flash bomb being unleashed mere inches in front of your eyes. The charcoal night was almost completely banished as they flashed across his gaze, all but demanding the attention of their current victim. There would be no fancy wordplay or trickery here – he was just going to beat down her consciousness until she was little more than a puppet to his will.
…or at least that was the plan.
As his focus turned towards the girl-cub, his attention subsequently shifted away from Emiko.
Though soundly trapped within his enthrallment, it had been some time since he’d reinforced the trance. While not awake by any stretch of the imagination, the constant shuffling of coils during their trip and Natalie’s muffled screams had taken their toll, slowly pulling her mind away from the endless sea of bliss Kaa had lulled her into accepting. Combined with the sudden temperature shock from the river’s presence and the loosening of Kaa’s coils as he moved to deal with his new focus, the chance of her stirring from her slumber grew every second.
Not that Kaa had yet noticed.

However long it had been from the tree the three were held up in to this new one was lost to both Emiko and Natalie... For Emiko, she couldn't detect the time simply because of the slumber she was in. For Natalie though...it was for the shock and awe she was in of having been abducted by a talking snake and transported in such a restrictive manner for...who knew how long. It was disheartening for her to know what sort of trouble she was in and to know that her salvation was being taken away as she traveled... But once the reality set in, her resistance had ceased for the time being...
After arriving to their new destination, Kaa took just a bit of time to get settled in with his two captured girls. To that end, as the gag that held Emiko silent was removed, that dopey grin of hers was indeed still plastered across her face. Her spiraling eyes were still closed and her body limply rested in the cocoon to show that somehow she had made the it though this trip without waking up from her slumber. Either a testament to Kaa's powers on her, or her desire to sleep deeply. Regardless of which, it played beautifully into helping Kaa get settled. And moments later, she was once more deposited onto another branch for safe keeping.
As the cocoon came to rest on that branch, Emiko's body seemed to immediately settle in without much of a hitch... Glad to have stopped moving, she wiggled only slightly to get comfortable in her bonds before nestling her cheek into snake's coils yet again comfortingly. After inhaling a soft little snore and exhaling a long yawn, she merely uttered the last commands she had been given albeit in a very sleepy, adorable sort of way.
"...S-sleep...sleep...yes..." Sleepy words, repeating Kaa's commands. All in the tone of an adorable whimper before smiling wide again. If nothing else, Emiko knew how to be cute in her sleep.
As for Natalie...things weren't so good. The serpent went so far as to actually release the coiled up girl onto the branch where she began panting heavily from fear. She took a moment to sit herself up and get readjusted only to see the snake looming over her like a dark figure... In his eyes were the look of pure malice and he spoke with a tone that was so sinister that it made her skin crawl...
She knew from the trip here that no one was coming to save her right now, and that she was at this predator's mercy. She didn't even know what Kaa was, let alone what he wanted to do to her. So...it was understandable that she was trembling like a leaf when he started to approach her.
Natalie attempted to push herself back against the tree trunk only to find that there was no place for her to go... The serpent came forward ever so slowly and sinisterly, scolding her interrupting his dinner... In the seconds that followed, the snake demanded that she apologize to him for what she had done and launched his spirals at her in full force. It was a powerful assault...if Natalie had taken the time to see it.
Fearful as she was, she would never get a chance to see Kaa's eyes before the fear got to her beyond all reason. Just as Kaa's eyes changed, Natalie hunched over and covered her head with her hands in a sort of...defensive position... She closed her eyes tight and started to whimper in utter terror. And...despite avoiding the immediate hypnotic danger, she...seemed to comply with the snake by immediately confessing how sorry she truly was in a very frantic manner...
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I wasn't trying to do anything!" She shouted in fear at the top of her lungs... "I was just looking for my friend, that's all! I wasn't trying to bother you, or anyone else! I was worried for my friend! I am so sorry for everything!"
It was an honest confession, and an apology that Natalie hoped would spare her from what she thought was a coming strike... She had no idea that a hypnotic one was aimed at her, but did manage to avoid it for the moment. Yet...even in her apology, she could be a bit of a problem. Those shouts were quite loud and...rattled Emiko's ears a little... It didn't quite wake her, but Kaa might be able to feel a slight fidgeting in his coils of discomfort. Natalie was just too loud, but fear wasn't helping her calm down...

Kaa’s scowl deepened.
It seemed this girl-cub existed to vex him.
“Look me in the eye when I’m speaking to you,” Kaa ordered, his voice as stern was it was seductive in that instant – the kind of voice you couldn’t help but listen to even when you knew that nothing good would come of it. He was almost tempted to wrap his coil around her skull and force her to look…but she had apologized for her previous behavior. While minute, it was enough to chip away at the rolling ball of fury that had consumed his thoughts, emboldened by her fearful position.
Not that it would save her.
She still needed to be punished for her interference.
His coils shuddered.
Oh, how he couldn’t wait to have her marching along his coils.
…though perhaps the serpent was a tad too eager.
The shudder ran down the whole of his spine, the thrill of anticipation loosening the tension that hung in his muscles due to their rather recent escape from the village search party. It was mostly a pleasurable experience, removing stress that would’ve soured an already soured night…though perhaps it relaxed his coils just a tad too well. In his focus to bring the girl-cub under his thrall for the indignity she’d fostered onto him, Kaa’s attention removed itself from his prey secured high above.
The pressure that held the coils wrapping Emiko’s slumbering form slackened as the shudder ripple through them, mounds of scales and muscles sloughing off the girl. Now clad in her undergarments, the young woman was utterly exposed to the chilling night air as the whimpers of her friend rose from below. Though still content within her slumber, it was all too possible that she might find herself crawling back to the land of the living.
And Kaa was none the wiser.

Natalie was so frightened of Kaa that at first when he demanded she look him in the eye while speaking to him, she refused. Instead, she assumed her defensive position even more and closed her eyes tighter while trembling all the more. It was the right move, but...fearing that the serpent might try to harm her if she didn't comply was a petrifying thought... No one was going to help her and...if she didn't get on the snake's good side...what could she do?
It was a hard decision to make...but in the end, Natalie slowly unraveled herself from her defensive curl and slowly; very slowly started to look up towards the python reluctantly doing as she was told. The moment that her eyes made contact with his however, the situation became more confusing to her than she ever could have imagined...
The snake's eyes were spiraling with rings of color in ways she had never seen before... And it was so mesmerizing to her own eyes that she couldn't help but gaze back feeling magnetized by them. Kaa had unleashed his power so ferociously that...it didn't take anything after Natalie looked for her own pretty brown eyes to shrink to a pin-prick. And then out of those shrunken pupils, rippling colors began to blossom out of her eyes and sending waves of hypnotic bliss through her mind and body... It was a potent combination that within mere seconds left Natalie from hurdling up in fear to shift to face the python and look at him with wonder and curiosity... The poor girl was hooked...
This were finally starting to turn out right for Kaa. At least...in terms of subduing his most noisy catch. But while things were progressing there, they were beginning to unravel elsewhere... Kaa had gotten a little preoccupied trying to work his magic on Natalie that he had gotten very careless in containing the trance Emiko was in. And it was starting to play out badly...
The scream Natalie had let loose was bad enough to disrupt Emiko's sleep. But when the pressure of the coils around her body began to loosen, that's when things started to get worse. The mound Emiko was in began to loosen ever so slightly with the vibrations of his coils. A few of his coils actually slipped off of Emiko's body leaving her exposed to the new atmosphere for the first real time... The effects were so pronounced that...it actually woke Emiko up. At least, from the slumber she had been put into for the second time...
Emiko rose her sleepy head very slowly and opened her eyes curious as to what was happening yet again. The rings within her eyes were still there, though flowing slowly again. And despite some of the coils being shifted off of her body, enough were still in place to maintain the trance for a bit. For the time being, all the dazed girl could seem to do was sit or...stand in what remained of her cocoon teetering on the edge yet again. This time however...it seemed like Kaa hadn't the faintest idea what was happening. But...a clue would make itself known as Emiko let out a confused whimper.
"...W-wha...? W-what's...h-happening...?" Emiko asked confused. Her eyes would droop as if wanting to go back to sleep before opening again showing just how fragile her state was... If Kaa heard her, he might be able to do something. If he ignored her, she'd continue to teeter and could possibly fall the other way towards consciousness...

He didn’t notice.
Though Emiko’s whimpering gently echoed down from her unwound prison, the serpent’s whole attention was currently focused on pulling her girl-cub friend into a trance. A wicked smile stretched across his snout as the girl’s gaze finally locked with his – her defenses lowering as the full might of his hypnotic persuasions slamming into her consciousness. His tail reached down, brushing away a few stay locks of hair with a gentleness that was belied by his immense size and strength.
“That’s right,” Kaa chuckled, devious smirk stretching across his snout. His tail reached down, sliding over her collarbone as he reached her shirt – the synthetic fabrics an alien sight this deep in the jungle. A quick application of his strength was all it took to tear the garment in half, pulling the shredded fabric from her slowly slumping form in a single motion. Having learned from his errors, the serpent balled the material before tossing it into the river below with a dull ‘plop’.
It'd travel miles downstream.
Even if someone did discover it, there was no conceivable way they could search the whole river.
“It’s so much more polite to look someone in the eye and listen to what they have to say, isn’t it?” Kaa asked, cruel smirk growing wider as the girl-cub followed his swaying motions, utterly enthralled by the pulsing lights. The resistance she’d displayed earlier during their escape seemed extinguished, having been quickly replaced by overwhelming awe as her eyes reflected his spiraling pattern. “But since you’ve been such a rude girl for interrupting dinner, I think it’s time you make it up to me. Stand, if you please.”
He'd remove the rest of her garments in a moment.
These blue fabrics tended to be much harder to deal with.
Yet even as he brought Natalie further into enthrallment, he failed to notice the creaking branch higher in the tree.

Kaa's failure to notice Emiko's current state of weakness didn't go without consequences... Perhaps if she had still been in the mound in full, she would have drifted back off to sleep and she'd never know what was transpiring down below. But left to her own devices as she was, her mind was beginning to wake up yet again. And this presented all sorts of problems for the python...
Thankfully for the time being, Emiko wasn't...fully out of the trance just yet as much as she was still just teetering on the edge. But as her awareness slowly came back to her, she could hear Kaa speaking to...someone down below. Naturally her ears tuned in to listen.
Down below, Natalie had completely fallen into the serpent's eyes. Lost as she was, she didn't even seem to feel or notice it when the serpent jerked her black t-shirt off of her back and tossed it into the river... Instead...she just continued to stare into the snake's eyes taking in the rings much as Emiko had earlier not even aware that she was left with her blue jeans, black flip flops, and now just her black bra...
To the serpent's words, Natalie suddenly felt a strange submissive connection to them. When Kaa commented that it was much more polite to look someone in the eye and listen to what they had to say, she couldn't help but agree. Hilarious as it was...Emiko had heard the same words albeit a bit muffled. And from different angles of the tree, there came the same sort of response...
"Yes...it is..." Both Emiko and Natalie was say in unison. Seems Kaa was still getting to Emiko yet as funny as it was...
Kaa wouldn't receive an answer or an action from Emiko on the next thing however. Natalie though would as she slowly uncurled herself from her hunched position and slowly stood to attention per the snake's request... She turned herself just slightly towards Kaa and stood as much as she could all while keeping those spirals alight before her in front of her eyes... And as she stood...the guilt of being so rude and interrupting Kaa's dinner just..ate at her in that moment... Enough so that without being asked, she proceeded to try and right the wrong again...
"...S-so rude...to interrupt your dinner... I'm...so sorry..." She'd say sweetly, words that Emiko would actually pick up on.
As Natalie apologized to Kaa for interrupting his dinner, Emiko found herself a bit confused in her already dazed stupor... She...recalled in that moment something about Kaa and dinner, but not all of it was coming clearly to her mind... It never dawned on her that SHE was the snake's snack, but the pondering of what it meant did start waking her up just a bit more...

Kaa giggled.
His anger had abated somewhat now that the source of his vexations was not falling under his thrall. She was quite the delectable sight now that she’d removed her pesky shirt. The soft contours of her flesh were warm and inviting and there was plenty of meat that would slide right now his throat. That she’d apologized even further for her actions earlier only lifted the serpent’s spirits.
“Your apology is accepted,” Kaa offered, smiling as he brought his forehead against her’s. His bulbous eyes rested mere inches from her own gaze, her nose and lips pressed softly against his snout. The serpent’s tongue flickered from between his maw, briefly sampling the young maiden’s flesh for what would eventually come. Her taste was delicious, though it was markedly different from her companion…there was almost a spiciness to her flavor that popped his taste buds.
“But I’m afraid that won’t be enough.”
Still slithering down her exposed abdomen, his tail tugged at her remaining garments.
“You won’t be needed these anymore.”
A shuddering giggle worked its way down the serpent’s spine as his new appetizer moved to comply with his commands even as his main course found herself recognizing the peril of her situation. The greedy snake could very well loose one of his meal should Emiko escape her grasp…but it seemed as though Natalie wouldn’t be going anywhere anytime soon.
At least, not without his permission.

Kaa accepting Natalie's apology was such an uplifting thing for the girl who felt her guild immediately melting away. It was during that time that the snake pressed his head right up against the dazed girl's forehead and stared hard into her eyes... Her own went wide in momentary surprise to take in those delicious rings in all their splendor. And Kaa had used the opportunity to take in a bit of her own delicious taste...
With Natalie being from a nationality different from Emiko, it wasn't hard to believe that she might have a slightly different taste. If...such a thing did make a difference, and seemed to with Kaa. All the same, the strange licks along her face didn't one time give Natalie the impression of what he might have in store for her. And even if it did...the colors whirling before her eyes worked to keep her mind where it needed to be. Whirling with colors and oblivious to anything else...
Kaa's power over the girl only seemed to naturally intensify the longer Natalie stared into the spiraling eyes. And her care for anything around her was beginning to fade faster than anything. That became even more apparent as the serpent's tail slithered to hook onto her pants and instructed her that she wouldn't need these anymore. Natalie didn't quite understand WHY she didn't need her blue jeans anymore, but...Kaa told her she didn't... And she believed him entirely. The snake would easily be able to pull her jeans down and have Natalie walk right out of them losing her loose form-fitting flip-flops in the process. Her shoes weren't wide enough to move through pant leg holes and this just...slipped off her feet in transit.
After two simple steps forward, Natalie was now, like Emiko, left in nothing more than her underwear. Black panties and a black bra while the rest of her remained bare from head to toe. No pants, no shirt, no shoes... Just a barefoot, stripped girl in her underwear staring deep and hard into Kaa's eyes. And sad as it was to say...she wasn't far from slipping into a trance...
While Natalie was on the edge of grinning with swirling eyes, Emiko was just about out of her own trance... Kaa had ignored her for far too long... And the conversation happening down below left her confused as to who the snake was talking to... For a moment or so, she still rested in that cocoon of hers teetering on the edge of trance and falling. But...it wasn't long until she would break free... The events unaltered, she most likely would break free around the same time Natalie fell into one...
Things were setting up to be a dicey situation yet again... Emiko's dazed body was still trapped within the mound, though those coils were VERY loose. At the same time though, other than some audible whispers and whimpers, the naive girl hadn't given any indication that she was waking up. If Kaa hadn't noticed her in the state she was in at this point, it was unlikely that he would until it was too late. That was assuming the snake didn't have a random realization that he had ignored his main course and did something to check on her. Short of that...another stint of frustration for the snake was most likely coming very, very soon from his main course.
