(Reserved for Monado)
While many are aware of the Alola region’s Ultra Beast incidents, it was not the only area to experience sudden appearances of Ultra Wormholes. At least one of these oddities had opened in Unova, though it and the even odder guest emerging from it had managed to avoid the attention of humans.
For some time, this foreign being had silently observed human behavior, especially that of Pokémon Trainers and their odd devices that could hold Pokémon inside. As it watched, it also learned. This knowledge would eventually pose a threat to the region.
That same being currently hid by itself in a quiet forest, awaiting its next chance to use its knowledge...

[The forest in question was one that housed a vast variety of wild Pokemon, positioned somewhat close to Nimbasa city. The trees swayed gently in the winds and the bushes occasionally rustled with the activity of Pokemon kind. The occasional passing Pokemon would come to serve as a distraction from the environment, with voices of the many creatures echoing throughout the trees.]
[Within a rather open clearing of the forest laid a small group of four, each reginisable from legends passed down through human history. Their names were Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, and of course Keldeo. The quartet were currently seated comfortably upon the soft grass of the clearing, each mostly just observing the forest around them in protection of the Pokemon in the area. All except for the one of youth, Keldeo, who had grown bored of just sitting around.]
"This is boring. . .Can't we do something that isn't just watching wild Pokemon?"
[The telepathic voice of the youthful sword of justice would be heard by all around them, the colt Pokemon seeming miserable in their positioning, as their head was upon their two front legs.]
"Do you wanna spar Keldeo? You won't win this time!"
"Sure! I can take you!"
[With the gruff voice of Terrakion responding to the newest member of the swords of justice, the two Pokemon would soon stand themselves up, though receiving concern from their leader.]
"Be careful you two, we don't want anyone to be pulled into your battle."
"Don't worry, we'll be fine!"
[The two swords of justice move into position within the clearing in a short period of time, both taking battle stances as they prepared to begin their little sparing session. Cobalion and Virizion, in the meantime, had taken position on the edge of the clearing, watching from the sidelines for the moment.]

The creature had taken notice of the three Legendary Pokémon and Keldeo, deciding to remain hidden at the moment. While it didn’t possess benevolent intentions for the small group, it also wasn’t unintelligent, knowing very well that attempting to confront all four of them at once was practically asking for failure.
One would not expect such a being to effectively remain hidden in a forest, as its body was covered head to toe in bright, neon colors. However, its method was both odd and effective - despite bearing almost no resemblance to a serpentine Pokémon, it slithered across the forest floor, concealing its easily noticeable colors beneath the leaves.
As it hid, it observed them, attempting to find a way to separate the group in order to confront them one at a time. It noticed that Terrakion and Keldeo had gone off to the center of the clearing, taking the chance as an invitation to begin separating them. Hiding at the edge of the clearing opposite of Cobalion and Virizion, it subtly used Psychic on the sparring Pokémon to pull them towards it, hoping that the move would affect their natural movement and cause them to gradually approach as they sparred.

Current OST: Time to fight! For a greater immersive experience, play music in background while reading.[It was the youthful sword of justice that made the first move. With an energetic bound forwards, the colt Pokemon ran at their sparring partner in an attempt to strike them with a focus blast. Even despite closing the distance by quite a bit, this move would inevitably miss the rock and fighting type, who evaded to the direction that the unusual beast was hiding, due to the soft influence it was creating. With Keldeo's attack failing, Terrakion would reply with a stone edge towards the smaller Pokemon, though missing them, due to the dodge the colt made. With most movements that each Pokemon made, they typically evaded more towards the direction of the hidden beast, coming closer and closer. Though neither took eyes away from the other, as their battle would rage on.]

It patiently continued this process to lure the sparring Pokémon away from the rest of their group. As it gradually moved then, it also observed their battle, waiting to see when one of them would land a solid hit on the other. Already having a weak psychic hold on both of them, it planned to use its Psychic at full force on whoever was struck first, hopefully pulling them much further in its direction while also dealing great damage or knocking them out, as it was aware that both Fighting-Types were weak to Psychic-Type attacks.

[The fight had gone for only a few moves before the colt Pokemon had managed to land a single blow, this being in the form of a hydro pump. The blast of water hit Terrakion directly in the face, though the attack was far from being full force, the Cavern Pokemon was blasted a couple of meters towards the two observing swords of justice. The eyes of the iron will Pokemon narrowed, however, seemingly sceptical about the move.]

The creature silently cursed to itself as it watched Terrakion get sent flying in the opposite of the intended direction. Becoming aware of Cobalion’s suspicion, it weakened its psychic hold considerably to prevent him from noticing its presence.
As it remained cautious of the Iron Will Pokémon, it continued to pay attention to the battle between Keldeo and Terrakion, hoping that Terrakion hadn’t suffered too much damage, as it still needed to separate the group to begin its plan.

[Terrakion seemed to struggle to stand, their body wounded more than anyone had expected from what had landed. This, in turn, was enough for the youthful sword of justice to move over to their comrade's side in concern for them.]
"Are you ok? I-I didn't think that would hit that hard."
"Yeah, I'm fine. That was amazing keldeo, I had no idea you could be that powerful!" [Terrakion responded while making another attempt to stand, this time getting about half-way there. Keldeo mere gazed towards the hoof that had let the hydro pump fly, blinking once before returning their gaze to the rock and fighting type.]
"You wanna keep going?"
"I dunno, you might not have the strength for it."
"Nah, I'll be fine!"
[With that said and done, the two swords of justice returned to face each other, after Terrakion had manage to get up, of course. They charged at each other again, with stone edge coming from the cavern Pokemon and double team coming from the colt. The stones tore through multiple copies before Keldeo darted behind the rock and fighting type, though failing to land a kick. As the Cavern Pokemon spun around to face their opponent, Keldeo had decided to shift to Resolute form, standing proudly as secret sword extend from their horn.]
[in response to this, Terrakion extended their own sword, the two charging to meet in the middle. Both blades collided ferociously, with the Cavern Pokemon standing their ground against the younger Pokemon. Due to having significantly greater physical strength and weight, Terrakion would manage to throw Keldeo to the side, and unknowingly towards the mysterious stranger who lurked within the shadows.]

The creature cautiously began to back away after making such a mistake, though it quickly returned to the action once it noticed that the battle was continuing despite Terrakion’s wounds. If it was capable of displaying facial expressions, it would have looked even more eager to carry out its plan as it witnessed Keldeo’s transformation, as it proved that the group was capable of more power than originally anticipated. By some fortunate coincidence, the young Sword of Justice had been knocked back directly in its direction, effectively beginning the separation of the group. It tossed some sort of object towards the clearing, then set its sights on Keldeo
Using Psychic once again, it further pulled Keldeo in its direction as he was thrown, bringing him behind the bushes and out of Terrakion, Virizion, and Cobalion’s sight. This would give him a full view of the creature, and if news from Alola had reached Unova, Keldeo would likely recognize it as Blacephalon, a dangerous Ultra Beast with a colorful appearance unlike any Pokémon. He would only catch a short glimpse of the beast, however, before his mind was assaulted with a painful psychic force. It seemed that Blacephalon was attempting to send him into unconsciousness.
The thrown object landed behind Cobalion and Virizion, emitting a short flash of light. Without warning, a massive Golurk rose from the bushes behind them and punched the ground, using Earthquake to create tremors and fissures beneath them.

"Wha!"
[Not a single member of the group had anticipated an attack of outside origin to appear, save for the leader. Even then, however, it was only suspicion of the possibility rather than direct knowledge. This inevitably was one of the key factors to the surprise attack working as it did. The colt Pokemon was flung further than normally possible and to the bushes mostly surrounding the clearing, landing with a thud. The youthful Sword of Justice unfortunately had so little time to react nohr had heard of the incidents of Alola. The Psychic force rendered the water and fighting type unconscious instantly, causing their body to fall to the ground, their head hitting the ground softly after their body made contact with the earth.]
[Upon seeing their most recent member be sent flying into the bush at the edge of the clearing, all three remaining Swords of Justice showed shock at the unusual event, however, they were prevented from reacting any further by the object that formed into the Golurk. Both Cobalion and Virizion leaped back and away from the ground and ghost type Pokemon as it appeared, though failed to avoid the oncoming earthquake that it made. Both Cobalion and Virizion took the attack without much difficulty, however, the Cavern Pokemon was not so lucky. The shockwaves were sent through the trio, with Terrakion being rendered unconscious by the attack. The earthquake had been enough to knock out the rock and fighting type due to previous damage from Keldeo's Hydro Pump from before, leaving only two of the four standing.]
"Terrakion!"
"Protect them! Now!"
[With the command of the leader being heard, the two Unovan legends lept forwards to guard their comrade from further assault, unaware of the threat that lurked within the bushes when making this action. The Grassland Pokemon soon unleashed a magical leaf towards the behemoth before the two, landing without fail and causing major damage to the target.]

Nearly everything was going according to plan. In fact, Blacephalon would have smirked if it could. Within seconds of the ambush, two of the Legendary Pokémon had been rendered unconscious. With Cobalion and Virizion preoccupied with the Golurk and an unconscious Terrakion, it decided that it would be best to deal with Keldeo as fast as possible.
Though it wouldn’t be very noticeable to the preoccupied Legendaries, the mysterious assailant wore what seemed to be a normal backpack around its shoulders. It reached behind itself and removed it, revealing it to be filled with a plentiful supply of several types of Poké Balls.
What would happen next would have previously been unthinkable. The Ultra Beast removed a ball from the bag; the top half was colored purple, and a large “M” was stamped on the front - a Master Ball. It had been nearly unheard of for Pokémon to actually capture other Pokémon. However, being from another world, Blacephalon wasn’t bound to such rules... and with a flick of its wrist, it tossed the Master Ball towards Keldeo. If no interference occurred, the Mythical would almost certainly be captured without failure.
The Golurk was hit hard by such a powerful attack, though it still seemed to have some fight left in it. In a move of desperation, it retracted its legs into its body, before taking to the skies in a Fly attack. Clearly, this was no wild Pokémon if it was capable of learning such a move. Almost immediately after flying, it charged headfirst towards Virizion, aiming to land one more attack.

[Unfortunately for the young colt Pokémon, not a single soul would inevitably arrive to be able to save them from the terrible fate that was to befall them. The ball rocked only three times before sounding as a successful capture, sealing the mythical inside.]
[Had either Cobalion or Virizion watched their youngest member be caught, they would most certainly have lashed out in rage towards the Ultra beast. Alas, their focus remained upon the foe before them, causing them to be oblivious to the capture of their comrade. The duo kept their sights upon the Golurk as it flew skywards, prompting them to shift away from each other and the Cavern Pokémon. Only at the last second did the Grassland Pokémon leap to the left as their foe came down, allowing the leader of the group to unleash a flash cannon in order to finish the opponent off.]

For the first time, Blacephalon actually uttered something - a sound that could only be described as a gleeful, mocking laugh. It levitated the Master Ball towards itself and dropped it onto the tip of its hand, spinning it playfully as if this were all part of a childish game.
The Golurk crashed to the ground with a large thud, seeming unable to get back up after being struck by Flash Cannon. It remained motionless, the faded illumination in its eyes signaling unconsciousness... before it suddenly stood up again, though its movements were limp and marionette-like. It seemed that Blacephalon had noticed its subordinate’s fall and controlled its unconscious body by using Psychic. The large Pokémon limply raised a fist towards Cobalion, before awkwardly charging forward.
In reality, this was all a distraction, as the Ultra Beast placed the captured Keldeo in its bag and dropped to the ground once again, quietly slithering towards the remaining Legendaries.

[It seemed as if the battle was over, as if the threat had passed, but the iron will Pokémon knew that such a idea was foolish. They had taken notice of the direction at which the object had been thrown, therefore knew there was something else that had been commanding everything that had occurred. Cobalion made no conscious effort to take the clearly unconsciousness Golurk seriously, as such, they merely stepped to the side at which the fist was in order to allow the Pokémon to pass by harmlessly. Virizion, on the other hand, simply move to protect Terrakion's unconscious form in hopes of keeping them safe. The thought of Keldeo's safety still plagued the duo, however, as they were the only one not within sight. That thought was even more concerning than the thought of Terrakion's safety, even despite their assumptions that the colt Pokémon would be able to take care of themselves til they reunited.]
[Oh how they would be shocked to know the truth of what happened within those bushes.]
[Now all the leader of the Swords of Justice would do was keep their attention upon the Golurk and their comrades that were within sight, making sure they were not struck or that Virizion and Terrakion were kept as safe as them.]

Seeing that Cobalion wasn’t fooled by the trick, Blacephalon reached into its bag again, revealing that it possessed one more occupied Poké Ball, with the exception of the one that had captured Keldeo. It whispered a command to the ball, and, using Psychic once again, it kept the ball hidden in the foliage to toss it from behind Cobalion. This would prevent the Ultra Beast from revealing its true position, while also possibly having an element of surprise against the Legendary.
The ball bursted open to reveal a Darmanitan, who immediately charged towards Cobalion with a flaming fist after leaping over the unconscious Golurk. It refrained from growling or speaking, clearly having strategized with its “trainer.”
Shortly after releasing Darmanitan from its Poké Ball, Blacephalon did something quite unepxected. While its body remained flush against the forest floor, its head suddenly rolled off its body. Appearing rather similar to a large ball that a child would play with, the head continued to roll until it lightly bumped against Virizion’s leg.
