The sunrise on a beach can be the most beautiful thing ever seen; the beautiful orange glow of the sun rising to light the night sky, setting the dawn of a new day, the pitch black sky turning orange and the calming waves of the ocean appearing up on the shore.
But one individual was not feeling so good in spite of the calm setting and sight. Sitting on the beach with her knees up to her chest and arms around her legs and head buries deep in her knees was Sophie the Jungle girl who was not feeling so happy. Last night, on a specially made boat for sailing the seas, She tried to stop a whaling boat from hurting innocent whales but the crew managed to spot her and stopping the "mysterious saboteur" that the company that owned the ship and did this whaling business named Sophie, managed to catch her boat, but not before she manager to swim away, while only looking in horror as they managed to target the whales while the waves managed to help her make it to shore but not without being so tired and getting some rest but then woke up feeling guilt from failing to save the innocent whales and heartbroken from how the whales had to suffer such a fate and could do nothing about it was sitting there weeping from such a failure.
Sophie could only be in so many places at once to save animals and nature from humanity's ignorance and greed and though she's worked hard and succeeded, she could just barely handle the job in the seas since for all her swimming skills that she perfected along with the rest of her skills to be a perfect Jungle girl Warrior that could protect nature and it's wildlife, she can't swim all the way out in the harsh oceans or make the right boat that could stand up to giant advanced metal ships from fishers, to whalers or even the large oil drummer ships.
Right now Sophie could only stand there and weep for her failure and wonder if there was something she could do.
"Hi Soph." Said a familiar and unwanted voice.
"Go away Sabrina." Sophie mumbled with her head still in her knees, not at all surprised her by now but unlike the many times the owner of the voice found her, didn't have much care for If she was there.
It was Sophie, the mistress of bondage and hypnosis, right up the shore on water with her head on her hands laying the wet shore, on her knees in her half octopus form but found herself surprised by Sophie's reaction, which wasn't annoyance like usual but utter sadness.
"Is something wrong Soph?" Asked Sabrina, getting up on her hands, concerned for her friend/rival.
"Hypnotize me for all I care, at least I'll be happy that way." Sophie muttered sadly with her head still in her knees.
"WHAT!" Sabrina exclaimed, shocked beyond belief, normally Soph was always so NOT willing to be hypnotized.
Knowing something was amiss with the jungle girl, Sabrina crawled/slither up with her hands and tentalces beside Sophie on her right, in a sitting position.
"OK, what's up with you Soph?" Sabrina asked.
Sophie turned her head to face Sabrina while still on her knees, while showing some tears that confirmed Sabrina's suspicions on something being wrong with her friend/rival.
"It's what you wanted right?" Sophie said tearfully. "As far as I'm concerned, you can have me as you pet forever."
Sabrina couldn't believe this; the tough and strong-willed Sophie the Jungle girl was just giving up so easily?
"Okay, look, first of all, are you really Sophie the jungle girl right here? 'Cause she's not known to give up so easily, or ever for that matter, and second of all, I know you, you would NEVER be so willing to be my pet, so something must be wrong." Sabrina said and then put herself in the same sitting position as Sophie with her tentacles while looking at Soph.
"So come on, tell me." Said Sabrina in a comforting and motherly tone that didn't sound so sly, though Sophie was to sad to tell.
Sophie sighed, looking out over the ocean horizon. "I may have just discovered my limits to what I can do to protect nature and wildlife."
"What do you mean?" Sabrina asked curiously.
Sophie then pointed out towards the ocean itself to demonstrate.
"In the ocean you mean?" Sabrina asked, feeling like she understands.
"I definitely can't just swim all around and when I even built a good boat for the harshest oceans, they can't match the power and majesty of the greatest Fisher, whaling or oil drumming ships and I had to just only find out last night." Sophie said glumily.
"Last night?" Sabrina asked curiously.
Sophie them began to cry from the memories of last night.
"Oh, there there Soph." Sabrina then said comfortingly wrapping and arm around her in a hug.
Normally Sophie would be just weirded out and not wanting to touch Sabrina in any way but right now she felt to sad and depressed to care.
"I couldn't save them." Sophie said tearfully. "And the whalers didn't care one bit about the the pain the whales were going through, they only cared about the money their oil can make." Sophie then started to tear up greatly.
Sabrina truly felt sorry for her dear friend/rival, she never expected Sophie to be this way EVER, thankfully, she knew JUST the way to help.
"Don't worry Soph," Sabrina said cheerfully. "I know what might help your problem."
"Yeah, if being hypnotized is as blissful as you say it is.... WHAT IN THE?!" Sophie was beginning to say, feeling resigned to being hypnotized before Sabrina fired some magic on Sophie's legs, startling her as she jumped onto her back seeing her lower body covered in a swirl of green magic and her feeling it change somehow before to her shock before her eyes instead if her legs was a green scaly fish tail.
"Sabrina?! What did you do to me?!" Sophie yelled in shock, as she examined her new tail, feeling it's actual fish scales, feeling the weird change in anatomy and biology from the tail, being able to move it like one giant lumped together leg, even touch the fins to feel that they were real from actually feeling her fins being touched and pulled from her hands.
She knew Sabrina was powerful; being able to change into different forms for her bondage encounters, manipulate her hair or telekinetically control bondage objects like rope and duct tape, use colored swirly eyes to hypnotize and mind control her "pets", turn bondage creatures from snakes to octopuses, to spiders into super forms that were large and with sapient level intelligence and Sabrina's hypnosis powers and even change the clothes of the girls she encounters into one piece swimsuit like outfits similar to what Sophie was wearing making the bondages seem more comfortable and suitable but this?! This was unbelievable!
"Relax Soph, I'm helping you out remember?" Sabrina said and then immediately grabbed Sophie's hand and quickly dragged Sophie into the water as she yelped, being too surprised by her sudden transformation and her immobile fish tail that she wasn't used to keeping her from resisting.
Suddenly, the 2 were in the water with Sophie curiously not feeling so cold from the dawn waters and from not being in the water for so long, while Sabrina was dragging her from the hand while swimming very quickly while Sophie was holding her breath, Sabrina noticing this giggled and said, "you don't need to hold your breath Soph, you're a mermaid now rememebr?"
Sophie tested to see if this was true by slowly blow a little air out of her mouth and to her surprise and relief, instead of getting saltwater in her mouth, she was blowing out like she was still in air. Sophie then completely released her breath and noticed that she was breathing like she would on the surface. "I.. I really am breathing "gasp" and TALKING underwater!" Sophie said excitedly, smiling for the first time since last night.
Sabrina seeing her friend/rival smile again brought a smile to her face knowing there was more exciting stuff for Sophie to learn and see that could make her happy as they came across arock clearing far out in the ocean and began to slow her swim. "I'm glad you're happy again Soph." Sabrina said. Sabrina then stopped swimming at the clearing. "Now try swimming on your own." Sabrina said, letting go of Sophie's hand.
"Wha?" Sophie exclaimed in surprise as she started to drift in the water, while she was able to swim with her arms easily, she was having difficulty swimming with her new tail. "Relax Soph," Sabrina said swimming up to hold Sophie's hands. "Just move your tail like how dolphins and whales do it and there's no need for your arms with your tail." Sabrian then moved aside for Sophie to try again.
Taking Sabrina's advice, she swam the way Sabrina described and it began to get easier to swim and soon enough, Sophie found herself swimming in loop de loops and other acrobatic moves while finding swimming come to her as naturally as walking and running with legs, even was able to do a leap out of the water the way a dolphin would.
"Woooo!" Sophie exclaimed excitedly while examining her tail moving up and down like moving an arm or leg. "This is amazing! No wonder so many little girls dream of being a mermaid."
Sabrina, truly felt glad that Sophie was happy again, decided to go to making her more so. "You think this is awesome?" Sabrina said excitedly. "Let's have you learn more, let's start by learning to swim fast and travel around the ocean eaily, follow me."
Sabrina then started swimming farher out to sea with Sophie following and as Sabrina went faste, so did Sophie while a montage began of Sophie learning new things from Sabrina while exploring the ocean while Sabrina narrated. "You can do more then breath and talk underwater, you can dive to the deepest depths and survive the extreme pressure, more then any underwater vehicle can." (imagine Sabrina and Sophie diving deep into the darkest abysses) your eyes are even attuned to see in the darkness those depths make." (Imagine Sophie's eyes glowing in a manner similar to Aquaman where she sees through the darkness.) "You can even survive the most extreme water temperatures, cold or hot, and yes, you can thrive in freshwater environment as much as saltwater, but rivers are much more narrow and closed than the ocean so you'll have to learn to navigate through such difficult terrain." (Imagine Sabrina and Sophie swimming through a river with Sophie learning to swim around obstacles.) "Your attuned eyes can even help you see in waters murky from mud." (Imagine Sophie being able to see through murky waters when eyes glow like Aquaman's) "you can even learn to have the strenght to swim even the strongest water currents, ocean, river or otherwise." (Imagine Sophie swimming through strong river and ocean currents with ease.) "As you've learned to wrestle the strongest animals on land, you can learn to wrestle animals in water." (Sophie learns to battle greens anacondas, crocodilians, and even the great white shark.) "And the part where you can handle the ships you hate, well, your new swimming skills can easily make you sneak from below and when that doesn't work with things like sonar and radar, you can always use your way with animals to help them avaoid those troubles. (Imagine Sophie swimming up to a blue whale and her calf, in amazement at the mother whales size due to never being this close to a full grown Blue whale before but smiled in warmth from petting both the calf and mother.)
After a whole day since dawn of training and learning to be a mermaid, the sun was now beginning to set with the same beautiful colors in the sky for the end of a new day though Sophie chose to see the beautiful site from under the sea as surface water looked like the beautiful sky while Sophie say sat on the rocky clearing with her tail on her chest as were her legs this morning only she was looking up at the beautiful "water-sky" with a smile on her face examine her tail with her hands.
Sabrina swam up next to her like before but on Sophie's left sitting with 4 of her tentacles sitting over her 4 other ones like one would with legs.
Sabrina truly felt glad to make Sophie happy as evidenced by Sophie smiling unlike how she found her at dawn.
Sabrina then noticed Sophie examing her fish tail with her hands while looking at the sky. "It feels weird doesn't it?" Sabrina asked.
"Huh?" Sophie asked turning to look at her friend/rival.
"You know, the difference in biology and anatomy in your new form." Sabrina said referring to Sophie's tail. "But trust me that difference you feel there is basic compared to ALL differences in all MY forms, like that big lump of leg you feel as a mermaid is bigger for me in my lamia form, a long lump of leg that's utterly flexible beyond what is possible for one human leg and grabs more easily and complex then a hand, and when half octopus that big flexible lump is smaller multiplied by 8 and in drider form, still have 8 legs but...."
"Okay, okay, I get it." Sophie laughed. " speaking of which, when I get back to land, how do I gain back my legs?"
"Oh, just concentrate and think only about like your tail is splitting half and feel it, but don't worry, it'll happen magically so it won't be painful." Sabrina said.
The 2 girls laughed a bit before Sophie suddenly hugged Sabrina in a tight bear hug much to Sabrina's shock.
"Thanks so much for making me feel happy again." Sophie said gratefully.
Sabrina smiled. "awwww, you'r welcome, eek, but you're squeezing me a bit too tight." She said while beginning to feel squished by Sophie's strong jungle girl arms.
Sophie chuckled a little while smiling smugly. "Now you know how I feel in your snake tail."
Suddenly, Sophie then made a swift turn while slapping Sabrina in the face with her fins.
"Ow! What?!" Sabrina exclaimed in shock and then noticed Sophie swimming away quickly where the beach was but not without looking back at Sabrina and yelling playfully, "thanks for giving me my new mermaid form but since you taught me to swim fast, you won't catch me this time."
"What, but I wasn't.." Sabrina tried to say before she stopped herself, knowing that Sophie was only playing and put on her signature sly smile. "Yeah, you're probably right," Sabrina said slyly, mainly to herself. "I probably would've tried to catch you anyway, though this will definitely add a new part of our game, it will be to soon before i catch you again, and I'll in your mermaid form next time and whenever I can."
(this is where Sabrina gave Sophie her ability to change into a mermaid as said in Sophie's profile.)
