The lean, but well-built Jungle Dude felt his head being turned on its own. He immediately removed Zee's tail just in time. He had already made eye contact with Zee, but Zee hadn't activated his hypnosis yet. Needless to say, he also saw this coming. "Come ON, you've gotta do better than that, eh?"

Zee watched Kainak pull back and felt his strong grip remove the anaconda's chubby tail from the man cub's chin. The handsome jungle dude was clearly not easily trusting, which upset Zee. The snake was trying to be friends yet there was a wall between the pair.
"Whatever do you mean man cub? You don't...trust me?" Zee frowned, a wavering in his voice. This was a genuine sadness since the anaconda did want to get closer to the stud.

“First off,” he said, pointing his finger at Zee, “Don’t call me man-cub. I’m not a kid anymore. Second, I barely even know you! So no, I don’t trust you. Why are you trying to act like we’re friends?”

“Apologies Kainak. I did not mean to offend you” Zee apologized. The serpent was embarrassed to be scolded at, yet still wanted to attempt to form some sort of friendship between the pair.
“You make good points, but I am not like those other snakes who lie and deceive” Zee reassured the jungle dude. “We aren’t friends yet, but I hope to be. I wish to show you that I’m worthy of your trust” Zee stated.
He extended his tail as if a handshake to meet Kainaks pointed finger. “Perhaps a handshake to start anew?” Zee asked, revealing to the handsome jungle dude that the snake truly only wanted to be friends.

Kai was taken aback, and not just by the tail that had been extended. Yes, he was relieved the snake had calmed down, finally listening to him, remembering that Kai didn’t remember him. After a moment’s hesitation, Kai extended his hand, gripped Zee’s tail and nervously shook it.
“So, um, please remind me who you are?”

The jungle stud really didn’t remember who Zee was. Which was perfect! The anaconda couldn’t be happier that he got a second chance to befriend the handsome and fit cub who stood before him. But Zee had to remember to reign it in and not scare him away.
“Of course. My name is Zee. I tend to keep to myself but I can never resist when someone visits my tree to I just had to reel you in. It’s a pleasure to meet you” the anaconda explained, feeling Kainaks firm grip on his tail.
“Would you like something to eat? Some fruit perhaps? Or a place to sit? Surely your feet are tired from walking all day” Zee offered, circling around the jungle dude.

"Zee, huh?" Kainak asked to himself. Interesting name for a snake, but there was one named after an Italian writer from the 13th/14th centuries slithering around, so it probably wasn't the strangest name. "No thanks, I'm not hungry. I already ate." He kept his eyes on Zee while the snake circled him.

Zee was well aware of the other serpents slithering around the jungle. Most had the same hypnotic abilities Zee had but each snake chose to use their gifts differently, whether for good or their own selfish desires. Zee was one of the few serpents who put other's needs before his and was never one to take advantage of someone and he hoped this side of him would be noticed by the handsome man cub.
"No worries Kainak we can just chat!" Zee said as he did a full 360. Some coils did surround the jungle dude but none touched him. Still, Zee hoped Kainak didn't feel threatened or restricted by his coils placement. "What's a young man like you doing so deep in the jungle on a hot day like this?" The anaconda asked, eager to learn more about the stud.

"I f***ing live here," Kainak answered matter-of-factly. He was more Tarzan or any of his imitators than a Mowgli. He was better off living what could be considered glorified homelessness in the jungle than moving back to one of the villages. Didn't help that the last one kicked him out.
"I mean, I LIVE in the jungle, not this particular spot, you know what I'm saying?" he asked.

"I assumed so by your attire silly" Zee said, pointing to Kainak's loincloth. Most human's who were residents of the jungle wore little clothing for better movement through the trees and to avoid overheating. Humans who wore all those extra skins were either poachers or foreigners.
"I meant why weren't you at the village? Most girl and man cubs spend their time there rather than out here" Zee asked.

"I don't want to talk about it," he answered. "And I mean it." A racist old hag named Hana, taking advantage of the Teo's mistrust of haoles (outsiders) got him kicked out of the Teo confederacy's capital village. It would be a few more years before the "official" first contact on Pomaika'i, but at the time, it was an open secret amongst members of the shipping industry. Society was still tribal, pre-bronze-age. And poachers? Certain tribes had them as guests for dinner.

Zee could sense the hostility behind Kainak's tone and his dislike forthe situation, whatever it was. So the anaconda knew not to pry. Yet he still wanted to help the man cub.
"No worries Kainak we don't need to. Say I have an idea! What if I help you take your mind off things with a relaxing massage? Or maybe a seat in my coils to rest those tired feet?" The snake offered, hoping he had built up some trust by now with the jungle dude.

“I could use a seat,” said the Jungle Dude. He actually spent a lot of time swinging through the jungle, building up his muscles and strength. Soon he would become a true Jungle Hero. But for now, he was not.

Zee was overjoyed to hear the young jungle man take up his offer. He felt Kainak's loincloth covered rear end rest comfortable and snug in his coil seat. The anaconda lifted the handsome stud off his feet and a few inches into the air and above the branch so his strong legs and bare feet swung in the air.
"Better?" Zee asked as another coil wrapped around Kainak's cut waist like a seat belt, giving the jungle dude a gentle squeeze.
