Kyle slowly opened his brown eyes, waking from a dark, dreamers sleep that lasted he didn't know how long. The first thing he noticed was that he was wet. The second thing he noticed is there were sure a lot of birds around.
Everything came flooding back to him at once, and he sat up. His stomach sank as his fear was confirmed. He was on the river bank of the jungle. All alone.
He knew exactly what happened. His family was on vacation and were on a boat ride through the jungle. He allowed his curiosity to get the best of him as he leaned over the rails to watch the fish. Before he knew it, he fell overboard and was instantly swept around violently by the currents. Then everything went dark.
The teenaged boy now stood up, his clothes and brown hair soaking wet. It would make walking through the humid jungle that much harder, but he had to find help. Taking one step at a time, he began to follow the river up stream.

Deeper in the jungle a creature was sleeping peacefully on a bed of soft leaves. The bed was in a nest up in the trees- big enough for a normal sized alligator to sleep in. This creature wasn't a bird like the normal nest livers. This one in fact looked more human, but only by half- literally. Her lefty makeshift blanket was slipping in certain patches that would show her pale coral pink tail that was much like a snake's that replaced where human legs would be. A lamia. She had fair skin lightly tanned, if her eyes were open they would show brownish gold, and her hair was dirt brown.

Kyle had walked for about twenty minutes at this point, his clothes not making much progress in drying thanks to the humidity. It hade them heavy, which in turn made walking more tiring. His steps were loud and clumsy, stepping on large sticks and making them snap loudly

The lamia's peaceful sleep was interrupted by those very loud snaps from twigs. Living in a jungle, many animals would learn to be light sleepers in case they had to fight or hide. She rubs her eyes and checks over the edge of the nest to see what was there. She sees a figure that stood upright. It seemed male going of the shape of their figure. "Is that a naga?" she asked herself.

Kyle was already so incredibly exhausted. At this rate he would collapse long before he would be able to find help. And he needed to have some energy held back in case a predator gave him chase.
As desperate as he was to find help as soon as possible, he had to get some rest. Begrudgingly, he stumbled over to a tree and sat down against it.

The lamia saw him collapse against a tree. Her hand went to her mouth. 'Could he be injured?', she wondered to herself. Now fully awake, she slips out of the nest and into the branches of the tree. Quiet like a hunting owl, she climbs down to the jungle ground. She kept watch making sure no predators were nearby. She was strong herself but she wasn't in the mood for a fight. She then gets closer to the naga... wait something was wrong with their body. Why was their tail so short? Why was it- split in two? "Wait not a naga... man." She then realized what has stumbled its way to her neck of the jungle. It was a human. Humans don't have any settlements around here. Nothing but wildlife for miles in every compass point.

Not long after Kyle sat down, he perked his head up slightly. Something felt a little... off.
It wasn't that he heard anything strange. He just had a feeling all of a sudden. Like something was watching him. And here in the jungle, that couldn't be good.
He slowly, shakily tried to get back to his feet.

A warm hand touches his chest to stop him from moving. Moving right into his view was his point of origin for the feeling of being watched. Her top half was mostly what he would see unless he looks down will he notice her tail "Are you alright?" the female asked.

Kyle was so surprised by the unexpected girl that he nearly fainted, but managed the keep it together. After the initial shock wore off, he was relieved that a person had found him. He didn't feel inclined to look down, as her face had him captivated and he fought hard not to blush.
"Yeah... I think so..." he breathed, clearly exhausted. "W-Where... where'd you come from...?"

“From above. I live around here,” she answered. Touching his head she felt both water and the smell of sweat was radiating off his body. Not a good thing. Drenched and worn out in the jungle can be deadly. Like him getting ill or venerable for predators.

Despite the jungle heat, Kyle couldn't help but to blush at the girl looking at him with such concern and feeling his forehead. What she said didn't make much sense, but he was too exhausted to care.
"I got... separated from everyone. I need.. help..."

"Shh. This jungle has dangers and I can hear the exhaustion from your voice. Let's not have a predator hear too. I'll help you. Just lay still and I'll keep you safe." The lamia decides that she will help the human for now and then see where things go. If not for kindness then survival of her own. Leaving a wounded prey out in the open attracts other predators and that'll make them come to her territory. And she'd rather not give reason for big cats or other kinds to come bother her. The lamia brings her tail over and slips it under the human's body. He was tired she could see well. This may help in keeping him from trying to get away. If he's really tired and about to pass out, he might not even thing much about the sudden feeling under his body.

For Kyle, it was certainly the latter situation. He was so tired and disoriented that he frankly wasn't even sure if the girl he saw was real or just an illusion of his mind.
He felt something move under him but didn't even have the energy to worry about it. He was just glad that his body had something to rest against.
With a tired sigh, his vision went dark, the last thing him seeing was the girl's face before his body went limp and his eyes slid closed.

Seeing him passed out from pure exhaustion, the lamia cradles the human along her tail as she gets him up to her tree and into the branches. She then places him in her nest where he will be better than on the ground. She then inspects him for any needs. First his drenched would have to go as they can make him ill from the jungle damp air that can even lead to rot. While he slept she removed all his clothing that was covering in sweat and dirt and even some tears in the fabric. She then flings them over the side of the nest seeing no reason to keep them. Kyle was left just in his underpants. She then looks over his body and found no wounds. All he had was some bruising on his feet from the long walk through the jungle after nearly drowning. Good. With him already halfway off, the lamia slips her coils to his feet and wraps around his worn out soles. It then 'snakes' around his ankles and up his legs. Climbing higher and higher, they wrap around his hands that laid flat at his sides. they slip into a coil cocoon that wasn't on the verge of stopping. His elbows, pasted his stomach, up his chest, until it reached his throat. The end of her tail, the skinniest part, slipped perfectly around his neck. Now he was completely wrapped in her long tail. They were smooth and strong. And with almost no wiggle room, if he wakes in the middle of the night, he's not getting out. It was like a fly in a web. Once stuck no getting out, even thrashing about will not help in the slightest. The lamia lays her body down along side the human. She was curious... who was he and also... what would tomorrow bring when he wakes?
