Korra awoke on the jungle floor, blinking a few times, puzzled. Not a bed underneath her, but - leaves? Sitting up, she found herself in an unfamiliar location, a thick-canopied overgrown green jungle. Yawning and stretching, she kept herself calm, just about stopping the onset of panic. First things first, she needed to find someone else - best not to shout, that might attract dangerous animals lurking around in the extensive undergrowth, so she got herself and started walking.

Then Kaa saw her and waited for her to sit on the tree.

After walking for a while, Korra had worked up a sweat - it was much hotter than she was used to here. Panting, she decided to take a breath, sitting herself down on an oversized root, resting her chin in her palm, her elbow on her knee.

Then Kaa pulled her into the tree.

Korra jumped as she felt cool coils wrapping around her thighs, squeezing them secure as they quickly began to lift her into the air. She yelped, clinging on to the coil to her side that was raising her up like a pulley. She remembered too late that she'd left her boots down on the ground - she tried leaning down to grab them, but to no avail.

The canopy and branches passed by her head, and she looked around as she scanned the new height she'd be brought to - and leaned back in shock at a snake in her face. "Eek!" She yelped, hearing it talk. "H-hello?" She tried after a moment of collecting herself. She tried getting off the coil, and found no resistance - but almost lost her footing on the branch, deciding to sit down instead - no good running, then.

"Wha-" She instinctively crossed her arms over herself protectively. "No way!" Seeing that the snake seemed to be disinterested in negotiating otherwise, she started to shuffle herself along the branch - if she could just reach the end, maybe it would dip down, or lead to another tree - there had to be an escape!

Then Kaa's eyes started to turn colors.

The sudden, alarming appearance of the unexpected colorful spirals slowed Korra's shuffling, then halted it. At first Korra stared just to try and figure out how the odd snake was doing that with it's eyes, but observation turned to obsession as the unstoppable progress of the bright rings across his eyes drew her gaze to be locked in the center of his eyes - she gradually began to stand up, her fear of falling overcome by the desire to get closer to the source of the hypnotic spinning.

Without noticing, Korra nodded slightly and her hands idly reached for her jacket - she realized what she was doing at the last moment though and shook her head. "What on earth am I doing?" She asked herself, tearing her eyes away from Kaa's, before falling back down onto the branch, wincing as she bruised her behind. "Ouch..." She murmured to herself in pain, rubbing the afflicted area.

Then Kaa wrapped around her body and looked at her as the colors in his eyes were faster.

Korra had no time to react as the snakes coils rushed for her - she tried batting them away, but they just kept coming, each wave wrapping more and more of her up, constricting her further with every passing moment, until at last he'd completely prevented her struggling - not that he needed to, as halfway through her arms fell limp to her sides and her mouth hung open as Kaa's eyes returned. Her own eyes began to reflect his, and all over Korra relaxed, falling into a light trance and going deeper.
