Emiko had been sleeping quite peacefully in the snake's grip finding it unusually comforting inside the cocoon of coils she was held in. Maybe it was just her hypnotized mind that forced her to enjoy it, or perhaps she really did seem to have a liking for snake's coils! Ultimately it didn't matter as she was, as the snake put it, not going to be there in the morning. That never became more evident than when the seductive snake went to work giving her a little taste to size her up for what was to come.
Feeling the snake's tongue brush against her sole, Emiko couldn't help but let out a sleepy giggle. His cool tongue actually felt very nice on her skin. Never mind the fact that it was a dangerous taste test of her body... Just when things started going Kaa's way...he dropped his guard down and got lost in his thoughts. A tickle along her foot by the python's tongue triggered an instinctual kick of her foot which landed right in Kaa's face. Emiko didn't mean to do it at all. There was no way she could ever hurt Kaa as she was, but...it reinforced the notion that she wasn't exactly the biggest fan of tickling. And...it was that little stunt that put her on the menu immediately...
Unaware of anything that was happening around her, poor Emiko just continued to slumber on as the python uncoiled himself from around the tree and prepared to devour the mesmerized maiden in his coils. She was certainly going to go down very quietly and even happily after all the ideas he instilled into her thanks to his hypnosis. Unfortunately for Kaa though...he didn't seem to notice that the inexperienced girl had...picked a rather fragile branch to sleep on for the night... And it was gradually beginning to give way...

Kaa did, in fact, realize he was resting on a weak limb. He just wished that he could have figured that out before he was plummeting to the ground. But he didn't, and he ended up faceplating on the hard dirt path. "Ooooof!" He struggled to get up, dazed. "It's alright. I still have my--," he looked up to see a large bundle of coils, their prize still inside, directly above him. "*Sigh* Just my luck..."
*Whump* "Oooooooof!"
Kaa didn't even bother getting up. He had enough for one night. Meanwhile, the half-entranced girl was coming to, and his coils were now merely on top of her, rather than around her.

Kaa's poor luck proved to be Emiko's saving grace in more ways than one. For, the branch she had been perched on gave way little by little until both she and the snake were sent tumbling down to the ground below. Kaa unfortunately took the brunt end of the fall by landing head first in the dirt. And then...down came Emiko, her cocoon slamming on top of him with enough force to give the poor snake quite the headache... Thankfully, the cocoon she was in actually saved Emiko from getting seriously hurt. The snake-skin providing much needed padding from the fall. The drop and landing was so rough though that it actually woke her up from trance almost immediately...
After coming to rest on the ground below, Emiko was still a bit in a daze. She gently sat up in the coiled pile that now loosely hang around her as the spirals in her eyes became slower and slower until finally they were free of her eyes. With a quick shake of her head, she finally came back to her senses and realized somehow she had...blacked out...?
Honestly speaking, Emiko couldn't remember much of anything. She remembered talking to the snake up in the tree about some stuff, noticed something weird about his eyes and then... And right in the middle of her thoughts she suddenly realized where she was and what was going on...
"W-what the...? How did I get in these coils and...Where are my clothes!?" Emiko shouted aloud, shocked at what had happened to her since she had blacked out.
The confused youth didn't waste anytime at all working herself out of the cocoon she was in. Once she was free, she took several steps back in disbelief wondering what on earth had just happened. It was when she took these steps back that she stepped on the dress that had been discarded. Looking at it under foot, she was glad that at least it was still nearby. Thankfully her entire outfit seemed to be present on the ground below, shoes and all. Within a couple of minutes, Emiko was redressed in her light blue dress, sash around her waist and black flats once more on her feet.
As she finished tying her sash around her waist, her attention turned back to the cocoon of coils she had came out of... It didn't...exactly make sense how she had ended up in that snake's coils or...why for that matter too. It didn't help that she was entirely stripped down to her underwear when she came to making her think something was strange about this snake. Unfortunately for her...being the soft hearted individual that she was...the silly girl just didn't want to up and walk away... Kaa had just taken a mighty fall and she felt guilty just leaving him like he was not truly realizing what he had done to her...
Biting her lip, Emiko gently made her way over to where the snake was laying. However, she kept a fair distance between herself and him being much more cautious this time. She glanced around his coils carefully looking for where Kaa's head might be, before allowing herself to gently call out to python just to check on his state of being...
"...H-hello? A-are you all right? I...I think the tree branch gave out on us... I'm sorry if you got hurt. I wish I could remember what happened, but...I think I blacked out on you... You're not hurt...are you?"

Kaa groaned. "No, little one. I am alright." His head was still buried underneath his huge body. He shifted himself a bit, until he found an opening near the bottom of the pile. Poking his head back out into the open, he then spotted Emiko. Instantly, he put a smile back on his face, and some charm back in his voice. "But what about you? You were not hurt, were you?" He asked. As he spoke, he began the long process of untangling his long body... For once, he was glad he was not 100 feet in length.

When Kaa popped himself out of his coils, Emiko couldn't help but hold back a giggle. He looked kind of silly all tangled up in his coils like that and it was honestly a bit hard not to laugh. It wasn't that she meant to giggle, but...it just looked kind of funny seeing a big snake like him in the kind of position he was in. From meeting him, she would have thought of him as some...mighty hunter or something. And...that's when a couple of memories started to come back to her.
Her smile softly faded as she recalled starting to have a conversation with him and then...suddenly feeling helpless and alone... Those memories also let her remember something about his eyes that...weren't quite right. She wasn't 100% sure what it was that wasn't really right, but something was amiss and...it all started with those eyes of his...
"...I...I'm fine!" Emiko confirmed as she took a couple of steps back to...give the snake a little bit more room to work. "...I just kind of woke up from blacking out and...I guess had a few weird things happen to me afterwards. I don't remember much about it honestly other than waking up a short time ago."
As Emiko uttered these words, she was lying about not remembering anything. It was true that she didn't remember everything that had happened to her, but she remembered enough to piece some of those things together. She still wasn't sure if Kaa was necessarily a threat or anything, but...he surely had something to do with her blacked out moments, being stripped to her underwear, and being placed in that cocoon she woke up in. That honestly should have been enough to send her running, but she foolishly stayed for the time being trying to think this all through...

"Pardon me, young miss, it will just take... one second!" He yanked hard, and the huge knot of coils came collapsing down on top of him.
"Really?" He asked from beneath the pile again. "Well, at least I'm untied now." He popped his head out again. "Terribly sorry about that. Now, what were we talking about, miss... Oh, how rude! I never did ask for your name," he exclaimed with a chuckle. He held out the tip of his tail to her in greeting, only to realize that there was still a knot in it. He quickly pulled it back, spent a few minutes trying to untie it, gave up, then extended the knot in his tail to her anyway. "Once again, my name is Kaa. I am the local resident of this tree we are next to." He smiled a sweet, neighborly smile. "And what is the name of the honored guest that is currently standing at my front doer?" he asked.

Kaa seemed...weird to Emiko... She watched as he clumsily worked to untie the knots in his body after having taken that dramatic fall. While he struggled to do that, she didn't envy the length of his body. The only thing Emiko had to understand Kaa's predicament was getting the tangles out of her hair on a bad day. That didn't seem like anything though like this snake had to go through...
After a while, Kaa had gotten...most of the knots out of his coils only having the knot in his tail at this point. He reached his tail out to her as if to offer a shake immediately only to withdraw the tail in embarrassment. After he was unable to get that knot out, the tail was extended to her anyway. Not sure how to feel about all this, she did take Kaa's tail into her hands, but didn't exactly shake it...
"Oh well... May name's Emiko" The young girl replied as she started to gently use her hands to untie the knot. As it came completely undone and his tail was freed of it, she gently set it down on the ground. "...And I know. You told me your name earlier and called me a weird name... Man-cub I think it was?"
When Emiko uttered these words, a few more memories came back to her... She recalled the moment the python had confirmed she was a man-cub just before his eyes bloomed with spirals. Not just any man-cub though...as he put it, a delicious man-cub... As she remembered this, it started to become strangely apparent what had happened to her. Or...at least what Kaa wanted. It was enough for her to take a couple of steps back as if she were going to take her leave.
"...Anyway, I uh...was just checking on you to make sure you were ok after that fall. I think maybe I should be going now, I don't want to be rude and stay in a place someone else calls home..."

"I'm losing her!" Kaa started to panic. He took a breath to calm himself down. He wasn't out of options yet. "But don't you remember? You came to me to ask for my assistance." As he said this, he discreetly sent her a single ring to go along with his lie. Completely entrancing a terrified victim was difficult, but he hoped that his spell would implant a false memory into her mind.

Emiko hadn't taken more than a step or two back when the snake called out to her asking if she was sure she didn't remember her asking him for assistance. When he said this, Emiko glanced towards him with a skeptical look on her face. She...didn't remember necessarily coming to Kaa for any kind of help. The way she remembered it, she had just stumbled upon the python after she had climbed up the tree to sleep for the night. That was...until she suddenly saw a strange ring emit from Kaa's eye once again...
Though Emiko was a fair distance away from the snake's face, she still saw the ring and...suddenly began to feel the suggestion take place in her head as a 'memory'. It planted itself in her brain like before, but...because of how far away she was, Emiko didn't exactly take it as anything more than a random thought. However...that ring was powerful enough to stop her from leaving and contemplate what had really happened...
"...I...I did that...?" Emiko questioned softly. "...I...I don't remember that. I just...remember needing to sleep and then...feeling weird after talking to you... Like...I was helpless and...needed...help...?"

"You came to the jungle, and you realized how dangerous it was," Kaa lied, slipping another ring to her. "You were alone and afraid, remember?" This next ring contained a taste of terror within it. "I was there, protecting you from the scary jungle beasts." The third ring gave Emiko a taste of the bliss she experienced for second.

As Kaa tried to lie his way to her senses, poor Emiko simply stood pat foolishly taking it all... She saw the ring fly through the snake's eyes once again that made her start to realize the jungle was dangerous and...another ring instilled the notion of her feeling so scared and alone... It wasn't but a moment after this that the third ring brought in the sense that Kaa was there to protect her from the scary monsters of the jungle making her...feel safe with the snake around...
Having been exposed to the hypnosis in brief fragments like this, there was no doubt that the poor girl was starting to feel dizzy and weak once again... Her body lightly began to sway in place as she was exposed to the hypnosis and...she suddenly felt this need to get a little closer to him... In fact, she took a single step forward seeming to believe everything he was saying until it registered in her brain that wasn't was wrong...
Coming to the realization that something was very amiss about the snake and his eyes once more, she swiftly shook her head as hard as she could to remove the rings affects from her mind. Once she had her mental clarity again, she reversed course and took a couple of steps back showing she was starting to grasp onto the snake's little tricks. Grasping on or not...she still kept looking in his direction showing how naive she truly was...
"...T-that...isn't what happened... I...I know you're doing something to me... Y-you're...you're somehow manipulating my mind and memories to think things that aren't true. That...that has to be what it is... You are lying to me, aren't you?"

"Lie? Me?" Kaa feigned shock. He turned away, dejected. Looking away from Emiko, he blinked, and his eyes were once again filled with a vortex of colors. "Look me in the eyes and say that to me straight," he demanded, turning to face her with his hypnotic gaze.

When Kaa feigned his shock, Emiko was taken back a bit. She...didn't exactly mean to hurt the snake, but...she was starting to believe that there was more danger to him than what met the eye. If nothing else, he was quite dramatic as he turned away from her to hide his face in dejection. Little did Emiko realize...it was all just a ploy...
Without warning, she suddenly saw he snake's head turn back to her own with his eyes filled with those vortex of colors she had seen earlier. A gasp escaped her lips as she realized it was the same thing that had happened earlier. He WAS using his eyes to do something to her and in that moment it became more clear what that was. Kaa was a snake capable of utilizing hypnotic powers and no doubt he had hypnotized Emiko into thinking and believing everything that had happened...
As the snake demanded that Emiko look him in the eye and say what she said to him, she swiftly covered her eyes with her hands and turned away now realizing just how dangerous that was to do... She wasn't about to make eye contact with the python as long as he had that vortex of colors running through them. And...rather than running away, she simply verbalized that the frustration showing she still didn't get it by staying put in the vicinity of Kaa...
"...I'm not going to do that! Not...while you are doing that hypnotic eye, trick-thing! There's no way I can look you in the eyes! It's too dangerous!"

Kaa slithered up to Emiko, and placed his body around her, creating a circular wall around them. "How rude! First you insult my integrity, and have you now forgotten your manners?" He demanded. But then he stopped. "Oh! But I'm sorry! I seem to forgotten mine as well." He ran his tail through her hair. "Shall we call a truce?" he hissed.

Emiko was so concerned with avoiding the python's strange eyes that she didn't even think about the snake cutting off her escape routes until it was too late... And within a few moments, the naive girl became oblivious to the fact that the python had swiftly surrounded her inside a wall of coils that were aimed to keep her perfectly still in the place the snake wanted her. Instead though, she was more focused on keeping her vision clear and protecting her from what seemed like a swiftly evolving situation with an aggressive snake. In fact, Emiko was sure he was going to bite, or strike her in some way when suddenly...Kaa calmed down...
At first, Emiko didn't believe that Kaa wasn't upset at her when he stated that he himself had forgotten his manners. However, when the python gently stroked his tail through her hair and offered her a truce, it actually felt serious... Emiko didn't know if she necessarily believed that the snake wasn't still mad at her or not, but...it was enough for her to gently lower her arms and peek at the snake curiously only now realizing that she was inside a big circle of snake coils... Though she didn't exactly want to make a truce...she wasn't about to upset the snake either...
"...I...I suppose..." Emiko softly replied, gulping nervously. "...I...I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or make you mad... I just...felt suspicious about you after...everything that happened... I'm...sorry if what I did was wrong... I do feel bad about it..."
