Many legends and mysteries were told about the anacondas of the amazon rainforest. The local people live either in fear or respect or even both of them and some would even risk their lives to find and see them with their very own eyes. Not just those tiny or middle sized ones, that you can also find in the zoo. Researchers from all around the world tried for years to get their eyes and cameras on the big ones. Those who the native tribes were telling storys about. Those which are said to be 50 foot long or even more and could easily swallow a person whole. Most of these people were believed to have failed, then went home and would never be heared of again.
Truth was, many have found those gigantic anacondas, the mysteries told about. But they have all fallen prey to them. Because those researchers had entered the holy domain of the anaconda godess that was living in an ancient temple, so deep in the jungle, almost noone knew of it. Attracted by their godess, the huge - and by that I mean really huge! - anacondas were guarding the area around the temple, not allowing any human or other animal to get close to it. Anything and everyone who would dare to, would find it´s end in their deadly embrace and no trace of them would be left behind. Today, like every day, most of the serpents lured around the river, because the thick vegetation forced humans to use their boats to get near the temple. And on the water they were easy prey to the hungry reptiles. But there was another legend about those anacondas. It said, that a person would show up some day, who would not be harmed by them. Because the one with great understanding and a pure love for their kind would show up some day to learn the truth about their godess. And that said godess was waiting for that person.

Harry got off of his shift at work, and his boss told him that he got a promotion and a free trip to the amazon rainforest with hotel info. "Sweet, thank you so much." His boss nodded and watched him walk out the door, with a smile look on his face. Harry got to his car and looked at the flight ticket, it read 'Departure: 3:45 pm on Monday, Arrival: 10:45 pm on Monday'. He said to himself as he drove home, "Good thing that it's Saturday today." Harry got home and began packing for the trip, he finished packing with some clothes and food. He then slept through the night and got up in the morning, picking out the clothes for Monday; making his breakfast. Once he was done, he looked at his schedule; luckily he didn't have work until he returned back from the trip. Harry went through the day just doing whatever, until he slept through most of Sunday. Monday came and he got up to put his clothes on, getting into his car with his lunch sack and drove to the location. He got to the location about 15 mins early and got onto a private plane, which took off once 3:45 pm hit. So Harry got himself situated on the flight, had dinner on the plane; he slept most of the flight and woke up just as it landed. "Can't wait to see what this hotel looks like." He yawned as he got into a company car that drove to the hotel, the hotel is surrounded by the amazon rainforest. The hotel clerk told Harry about an old temple hidden within the rainforest and told him to be careful, to which Harry just nodded and left to see his room. He dropped his bags, and flopped onto the bed from the long flight.
The next morning, the sun shown its rays into Harry's room; blinding him. He got up and changed into some clothes, then he went for breakfast in the lobby; that is when his girlfriend called. They talked during his breakfast and once he got back into his room, ending it. After the phone call, Harry went for a walk into the rainforest with his mind repeating the words of the clerk. He decided to check out this old temple for himself and hopefully comeback with interesting information. After a couple of hours of walking, Harry noticed a large opening the size of godzilla in the distance. But he treaded slowly to not attract unwanted attention.

The godess in her temple looked up and tasted the air. Another one was coming. Another human had entered her domain. But... Something about him felt... different. She could tell even from that distance. And she was taking an interest in him. She was waiting for so long now, to be able to welcome someone special not only to her, but to their children as well. But it was way too soon to jump on conclusions. The anaconders outside would confirm if he was worthy.
Outside the temple, every single anaconda got curious as well. It´s been quite some time since a human had invaded their territory and most of them would very much like to get this one into their clutches - even stomachs, regarding some of them. But they heared the call of their godess, not to harm this one carelessly or overhasty. They didn´t know why, but her orders were law to them. Still, quite a number of them gathered at the river, that ended at the temple. It was the only way to reach ot, since vegatation was way to thick around here. No chance this human would make it there before dark. Luckily for him, several of his predecessors had left their boats or canoes at the shores to spend the night at the river bank. The snakes knew very well, why those boats weren´t picked up again afterwards.

Harry hid behind a rock to get a closer look, but couldn't see the rest of the temple. So he searched his surroundings and spotted a river nearby, and tiptoed over to the shore and found some canoes. He slowly climbed into one of them, unaware of what he might find at the other end. "I should sleep here, then get a move on in the morning." Harry thought to himself as he grabbed the oars before setting them down quietly, yawning in the process. He layed himself down across the boards of the canoes, making himself comfortable and hoping to find the temple when he woke up.
The next morning, he woke up and got his oars into position and rowed slowly down the river. Eventually in about 30 minutes, Harry had reached the other end of the river bank and had a good look of the temple. He was so focused on the temple, that someone or something grabbed him and blindfolded him.

One of the anacondas had made it's move. This one hadn't actually veen that interested in this human, but since he came so close, it wouldn't hurt to get a closer look.
The tail that the serpent wrapped around his head, blocking his eyes, was massive!Just as the rest of it's body. This one ring it had formed blocked not only the human's vision but also his mouth.
The anaconda threw a second ring of it's coils around his shoulders to get a better grip and pulled him up into the tree. Once he reached the branch where most of the scaly vody wrapped around - it actually spread around the whole canopy - the anaconda swirled him around, wrapping up his entire body in not only one but two layers of muscles and scales. Thanks to it's enourmous size, not more than five or six loops were needed ti cover this one from his shoulders to his ankles.
Once it was done and the human unable to move, the blindfolding tail was rwmoved, allowing him ro get a look at his captor.

Harry didn't notice the blindfold before it was too late, as he was shocked to find not only his eyes trapped; but his mouth too. He tried to move his head, but couldn't move it as the blindfold had a strong grip on his face. Harry was scared so bad that he didn't know what to do except feel more pressure trapping his body. Harry tried to squirm, but the hold was too strong. He tried to squirm for awhile, but found more pressure trapping him; making him immobile.
Then came the relief....He could see as the blindfold was removed from his eyes. What he saw, was quite horrifying and creepy; a giant snake. Harry replayed the clerk's words in his mind a couple of times before realizing what he was telling Harry.

It´s been ages since this anaconda had a human in it´s coils. Have they always been so easy to catch? The serpent looked the human up and down. His eyes widened and his muscles tensed and so did the snake´s just as well. The loops of muscles tightened a little, suppressing every possible movement and forcing some air out of his lungs. It was careful though, not to choke him. At least for now.
The giant head of the anaconda waved from left to right and all around it´s captive, getting a good look at every angle of his face. Could he really be one worthy to meet the godess? She seemed to be very sure about him. And he hasn´t freaked out like the other humans at the sight of such a massive snake. It´s forked tounge kept flicking and tasting the human. It wasn´t sure about him. But the real issue was not if he was worthy. The issue was what would happen to an disobeying anaconda ignoring the command of the godess?

Harry stood frozen in place as he wasn't sure what to do. "What....Are you....Going to do with me?" He had a hard time breathing as the pressure around him tightened. Harry's eyes looked into the snake's massive head, frightened by what it might do. "Can you speak?" He thought as he felt more pressure around him. The pressure intensified as he tried to take a breather, but couldn't. Harry's mouth stayed shut, as if any word came out it would apply more pressure of the coils.

Deep down the anaconda wanted to constrict this human to death. But something kept it from doing so. And not just the command of the godess, but something different, coming from it's own free mind. Call it instinct, but whatever it really was, it made those coils loosen up. And then the snake shook it's head.
Of course a reptile would not be able to answer in human words but the blessing of the godess gave the anacondas around here an advanced knowledge. After a few more tastes with the forked tounge, this one decided to let the human go. It lowered him down to the ground again and pulling the coils off, which made him spin above the jungle floor again and then fall right down on his feet. The very moment ot had let him go, the anaconda was gone. It was not completely convinced about this human but should he prove unworthy after all, there were plenty of other snakes to deal with him. And most of them were a lot less moderate with wrapping up prey.

"Phew..." Harry felt the pressure begin to release off of him, and began to make slow breaths. He felt himself spin and let himself go and drop to the jungle floor, landing on his feet. As soon as he got his balance, he looked around for the giant snake only to find it nowhere. "Well I should get going..." He began walking and saw the temple closer in the distance, though he kept a watchful eye for anything that was going to jump out and mess with him. On his way towards the temple, he saw movement in the grass and thought to himself not to go near the movement.

Seemed that the feint had worked. The human had just made a few steps since the anaconda had let him go, until the next serpent already had it´s eyes on him. Would he take a look at the area from above, he would´ve seen the massive predator spreading around the whole grass area around. The snake´s body was easily 30 feet long and this exemplar was also very wide and thick. And it deliberately made the thick muscles brush against the grass to make so treacherous noises and make the human walk straight towards it´s head. The black and dark green scales of this anaconda matched perfectly with the grass and dirt here, so by the time he would discover the gigantic snake head, it would be too late.
The reptile continued the play, steering straight towards his fate. With him always keeping his distance to the noises, it was almost too easy. And then the moment had come. The anaconda just rose it´s head out of the grass and was at eye level with the human. It would have been a piece of cake to just lunge at him and bring him into it´s grasp. But it wanted to see how he would react. Since the goddess seemed to wish for him to stay unharmed, he did not need to fear any anaconda here as long as he did not scream or flee in terror from them.

But Harry's mind told him to go check it out. He decided to check out the movement, but then he heard some loud rustling noises nearby. He looked around the area, but couldn't find the noise. "Hmmmm....I better get to the temple before dark." A few steps into walking, he heard the rustling noise again. Harry stopped and looked towards the rustling in the grass, he saw some large shadowy shape of a head. "What is that?" He said to himself as he looked at the head rising and took it as another anaconda, he saw the temple closer; but couldn't go there now.

Th massive serpent flicked it´s tounge a few times. This one did really like humans. I it´s stomach that is. Too sad, that it already had it´s fill shortly and would not need to eat for a while. But that did not mean, there was no time to play a little with this one.
The anaconda established itself high before the young man, keeping eyes locked with his, even though he got smaller and smaller from the reptile´s view. Then it slithered towards him, forcing him to step back or even try to pass the anaconda. It dared him to do. The snake coils spread all over the grass field here would love to ensnare him within a heartbeat and show him that there is nowhere to run. At least not before the serpent had some fun. It won´t kill this human though. Animals did not kill for fun after all and who knows, this man might be the one the goddess was waiting for in her temple.

"Why is there so many snakes?" Harry thought as he stepped back when the anaconda got closer to him. He took in his surroundings and saw only grass, he didn't think of what might be in the grass. "What am I going to do?" Harry's eyes stayed focus on the serpent's head, not even turning his body. His feet were rooted to the ground, though he could see the temple in the distance. Harry wondered if there was anyway from here to get to the temple, but he swore to himself that he didn't want to get played with, like some rag-doll. "Please don't eat me...Don't eat me." He was sure that this one has just ate and was just wanting to have him as a playmate, as all of the snakes guarding the temple would want.

The anaconda would have guessed, that the human would run, but he kept standing there whatsoever. Oh well, not like the serpent could not help it. With a quick push of it´s head, the reptile tackled Harry onto his chest, making him stumble a few steps backwards. While doing so, he tripped over a very thick portion of the coils that spread around in the grass. He did not land on the ground though. He was caught by strong, soft masses of coils, that began winding him into their grasp right away. His body was twisted and rolled and got wrapped up nicely like a christmas present. The thick loops of the anacondas midsection pinned his arms to his sides and his legs together and would not allow them to move an inch.
Very satisfied with it´s work, the anaconda took another close look at it´s captive with it´s head hovering right above the human, who was laying in the grass and was unable to move. There, that´s how snakes liked their humans.
