"Is she as cute as you?" Ilnia cooed, leaning over the table and stroking Anika's cheek, having heard her stomach growl. She peeled the banana, and held it out in front of Anika's face. "Open wide..." She said.

Anika didn’t hesitate and took a bite of the banana. The sweet taste was enough to help the girl feel at ease. She soon finished swallowing.
“I guess.” Anika answers. “Except her hair is much shorter than mine and she has green eyes.” A sudden lapse of free thinking came through her mind and she asked, “Why?”

Ilnia giggled at the question. She ran spirals through her eyes, with their usual speed and intensity. "Does that answer why?" She asked, leaning in close and rubbing her nose against Anika's. Running her hands through Anika's hair, Ilnia thought about what to do next with Anika as she let her 'answer' sink in.

The spirals quickly reflected in Anika’s, this time at a continuous pace. Whatever free will was starting to return was now washed away. The girl tried to speak but found she had lost the ability to do so. Anika just sat there and watch the spirals in wide eyed wonder.

"I think we've finished tea, don't you think? Why don't we go on a little trip?" Ilnia suggested. She had a plan to make sure Anika would have difficulty escaping her clutches. Ilnia led the way out of the room, along the gallery and up a set of stairs to a decrepit courtyard, where an archway led to the outside world.

Anika nodded lazily to each of Ilnia’s questions. Her eyes continued to spiral away even as Ilnia led her away from the party and where Anika knew not.

Feeling around the area with her vines and occasionally lifting herself up in the air to look around, as well as knowing from what direction Anika initially came from, it didn't take long for Ilnia to find Anika's village. She was interested in Anika's friend as well, but that wasn't what she was here for. Stopping just outside of visual distance of the village, she stopped Anika, and showed her the spirals again. "Now then Anika, I'm going to put you to sleep soon. When you wake up, you will act as normal, and have forgotten all about me, thinking you've found the way back to your village. However, once there, you will find the most valuable item being sold at the marketplace, and steal it, then run back the way we've come to my ruins. Once there, go to the room where we had tea, and there will be some waiting for you to drink, which will restore your memories and put you back in your adorable little trance. Ok?" Ilnia gave her orders, and pinched her cheek affectionately. "Alright... Then go to sleep now." Ilnia commanded, stroking through Anika's hair and going behind her to ease her down onto the ground.

Anika listened carefully to everything Ilnia said and the information was drilled right into her mind. The girl blushed when her cheeks were pinched and the blush remained when Ilnia soothed Anika to sleep onto the ground.

"Aww..." Ilnia said as she saw Anika blush. "I'm sorry to separate you from me for so long, but we'll be back together soon... And you'll be in for a surprise if you try to escape and return to your village after this." Ilnia whispered, laying Anika's head on the ground and then leaving.
Hours later, the sun rose over the trees and the birds started chirping, with Ilnia nowhere to be seen, having returned to her ruins.

Anika slept peacefully where she was until the sound of birds woke her up. Anika yawned as she sat and rubbed her eyes. She looked around and realized that she was in the jungle but her village could be seen at a short distance. But she couldn’t help wonder how she got here. She remembered seeing animals and then running into the jungle but when she fell asleep. Could she had dreamed it?
Anika shook her head, it doesn’t matter right now, she knew she had to go home now. When looked at her legs however she noticed two vines and each were wrapped around her ankles.
“Could I have really slept so long that plants are growing around me?” Anika asked herself. She gave a snorted laugh at the silly idea and quickly unwrapped herself.
Anika made it back to the village without any trouble but once she gets there, she found she couldn’t just go home, and instead went straight for the market place. She looked around until she found a box of expensive silky clothes. Now Anika was normally a sensible girl and wasn’t interested in such vanity but the need to have the dresses consumed her to the point where she could not breathe.
It awhile but Anika managed to take the box but not without being spotted and she was soon chased out of the village by an angry seller. The girl ran further into the jungle.
“What have I done?” She asked herself. Little did she realize that something or someone was following after her.

Ilnia, having seen Anika coming her way, set up a bud full of pheromones under the ground in front of Anika. When opened, a cloudlike mist would engulf Anika, and presumably overwhelm her. Hearing Anika question herself, Ilnia burst the bud out of the ground and released the mist into Anika's face, and meanwhile calmly emerged from the treetops, coming down to her level. She took the box and looked inside. "Very nice choice." She commented, looking up at Anika to see if there had been the desired effect.

Anika was suddenly attacked by the mist and coughed. When she was able to see again, she saw Ilnia with the box. Trouble was Anika had no memory of the flower girl or what to make of her but because of the pheromones Anika’s cheeks blushed a deep red and she was left speechless.

"Well done, Anika. Now, let's go home so we can restore your memories!" Ilnia said, and wrapped Anika up in vines. She carried her over the treetops to the ruins just behind them, and set her back down in the courtyard.
"Follow me." She said, unwrapping Anika, curious to see if she would follow. Ilnia liked to have Anika just entranced enough to do what she said, it made her feel more powerful when just a taste of her power had a noticeable effect.

Anika was confused but she calmed down as she was carried by the vines. The pheromones made her feel happy and safe towards Ilnia. But then again one large spray of the mist alone can only do so much.
Anika senses we’re compromised but a part of her mind was still wary. So when Ilnia as the girl to follow, there was a slight hesitation in her steps, but none the less she followed as ordered.

Ilnia led her into the most intact room in the ruins, through the corridor above the gallery they'd been in before. Ilnia had furnished it with a few items she'd found laying around in the jungle - a rug, some pots, a makeshift bed of rags, a large log as a table and some smaller logs as chairs. Ilnia took Anika by the shoulders and pushed her down into the log seat.
"It's good that you follow me without knowing who I am or why you're following me - it shows that you trust me a lot." Ilnia said, and sighed as she held Anika's hands. "Well, I'm afraid I need to do this to bring back your memories - you'll like it quite soon though..." Ilnia explained, then unleashed her spirals on Anika, holding her hands more firmly now - she wasn't expecting Anika to resist in the slightest, but it didn't hurt to be cautious.
