"Well, I should have expected that from a trained individual. If you don't mind the company, I'd love to tag along. It would give me some new scenery for a change. That and it means I can spend more time away from my tribe, for what it's worth." He unraveled his ball of coils once more as he rose to 'standing' level. "After you, my lady," he said with a bow.

Liz smirked at his bow, yet got up and started walking. It was a relativly easy trip, Liz diden't speak much as she was focused on not getting lost, constantly starring at her compass and some signs she herself had fabricated, like carvings into a trees bark, some rocks stacked ontop of each other or other thinks like this. Soon, after the promised 2 hours they arrived. Liz's camp was nothing special, it was in another opening, a river could be heard not to far away, a fire was in the middle with a rack holding used clothes on one side and a sizeable tent on the other.
Liz quickly got her lighter out of her pocket and began to ignite the fire, the dried wood was soon aflame again. "Here, I'll get us something to eat and drink, you just make yourself comfortable." Liz said and quickly vanished into the tent, soon she cane back out with some meat in her hands, it wasen't cooked yet but dried and salted to stay fresh. Liz now took a small metal rod and impaled two pieces on it and repeated the process another time, handing the second to the Naga. "So, now we can talk while cooking." Liz noted with a giggle, as she herself began to roast the meat over the fire.

Dhaya was stunned in silence, especially when she stooped and started a fire with a flick of.... something. He surrounded the boundary of the camp with his bulging mounds of muscle. "You started that fire faster than everyone in my tribe. If you were one of us you'd get the best of everything." The Naga couldn't help but watch her work, such an independent vessel away from her own people. "You know, Liz. You said you wanted to get away and see the world. I've been thinking about that ever since you said it. Is there more than these jungles that we're in? And I'm surprised your tribe... let you leave. No one has ever thought about leaving the tribe here, of course we think that there's nothing beyond these trees."

Liz just giggled holding up her lighter and flicking the switch again. "That wasen't me, it was this lighter." She replied with a giggle as she worked.
Once they had sat down Liz was focused on roasting the meat, yet looked up as he spoke, looking quite suprised. "Wait...YES! There is so much more, the jungle is pretty big but compared to the rest of the world it's really...small." Liz explain before halting again and rummaging in her bag. "Here, look at this." Liz handed him a book, it was a photo album, full of pictures Liz had taken during her travels. "Aaand...I or most people don't live in tribes, we live in a society...kind of like a tribe and everyome is alot less dependant on each other...it's um...difficult to explain." She nervously twiddled with her fingers as she thought of a way to explain this to him.

Dhaya flipped through the book, moving the pages back and forth. There was certainly a lot of places, and the trees were very different from the jungle. He looked up to see her twiddling, and gently closed the book. "Well, I appreciate the attempt, Liz. That does explain why you are here alone. And my tribe hasn't seen a human for a long time. Perhaps it's because you live further away than we'd like to search." He grew silent, twirling his rod of skewered meat. "What's it like? You know, being independent?" It was rather sudden, and his tail returned to lightly stroke her thumb to relieve her of twiddling her thumbs, wrapping twice around her rod and holding it in place for her and extending back in case she wanted to stroke it again.

Liz seemed to calm a bit, yet brushed his tail away as she took the book back. "Well...it's nice I guess, you still need to fill some requirements to have a comfortable life but yeah..." Liz struggled to explain this, lookimg to the side as she scratched her head. "Anyway, that meat should be done." She said and pulled her portion from the fire to dig right in, it was perfect, she hoped that eating could give her some time to think things trough and answer his questions a bit better afterwards.

Dhaya also ate in silence, tearing each piece carefully. Mostly because he could tell she was having a hard time. He couldn't blame her, he too felt it hard to answer her own questions were she to ask him. He did glance up from his meal from time to time, some to the camp she had created, some to her with increasing curiosity, and some to the surrounding overgrowth, losing himself in his thoughts.
"I thank you for the hospitality," he said. "It certainly is something I don't see everyday. Everyone hounds me to find the balance rather than show me what you have." He stared at the fire for a long while, creating a coil pile around him and holding it like a person would cradle their own knees under their chin.

She looked up from her own meal now, smiling again. "It's not an issue, really, i'm just..." Liz stopped talkimg as she saw him curl up, it looked kind of silly comsidering how large Dhaya was yet it still made her a bit concerned. "I guess...this has been something you've been dealing with for a while now ?" She asked, a concerned and caring tone to her voice. "I don't know how things work in your tribe, or with your species, but I think your pretty cool and strong, especialy for being able to deal with this." Liz said, giving him an encouraging smile.

"I'm not exactly sure I am, but thank you," he said, giving her a warm smile. Darker shadows crept in as the rays of daylight were fleeting fast. "Well, how much time flies when you have a good time. I guess I should leave you be for the night. Unless you'd still want the company. Though I am curious how you'll fare when the jungle cold sets in. My kind has a hard time staying warm in these parts." He had already begun to hug himself in his tail, as if he was sensing a drop in temperature already.

"You are free to stay." Liz said cheerfully, as she laid aside the stick wich she had eaten all the meat from by now.
"And well, by myself I would sureley freeze to death, but this is where my equipment helps me." She stood up and walked over to her tent, opening the zipper. "Here take a look inside." Liz waved him over. As the Naga would peak inside, Liz crawled inside letting him see the cozy space. In the tent Dhaya would see a green sleeping bag, a big bag full of tools and a few other things all laying on a airmattress making her unable to feel the ground underneath. "Here, this keeps me warm at night."

His golden eyes peered in, and it was a rather odd nest she had made. Though he hadn't seen any human nests before, this wasn't full of furs and hides at all. He did have to admit it was organized and cleaner than any of his own tribe nests, and he gave a small nod. "Well, perhaps I was a little too hasty to think you may be ill-prepared." He turned to her then. "You sure? I don't want to impose, though I haven't had a night away in a while. And I guess that two to defend is better than one in any case, if anything should arise."
He only had his human torso inside the tent, for it would be enough room for two if she was already bundled in her sleeping bag. He didn't want to crowd her and he didn't want to bring down the shelter she worked to build. Deep down he was glad she wanted him there, and he curiously studied everything inside.

"Yeah it's quite alright." Liz said now closing the zipper of her sleeping bag as she had slipped inside. "The matress should be bug enough for both of us and..." Liz paused as she rose up and pulled over the bag next to her, pulling out a thick blanket, it had a nice blue and dark blue wavey patter, it was comfortably heavy and very soft. "...you can have this, so...just make yourself comfortable." Liz said and patted the spot next to her with her hand, she semed a little too excited about this but definitly held no ill will towards him.

He ran a hand along the mattress. It was oddly firm yet felt different than his scales, and the covering she showed him was certainly different than any covering. Though seeing her wrap up in the bag he figured he could use it to cover himself. "Tempting as that sounds... I think I can stick with the ground for one night. I'm already taking up enough space as it is," he cracked a chuckle. The thought of using his tail to help her crossed his mind, but he shrugged it off. Bundling up on the ground, he looked up at her. "I hope you rest well, Liz."

Liz looked a little concerned but nodded. "Alright, you too Dhaya." With that Liz rolled to the side and turned of the small electronic light next to her, the tent was still alight by the fire from outside, yet it was dimm by the tent wall, letting Liz sleep. And so it wasen't much later that Dhaya could hear soft and slow breathing coming from Liz as she had already fallen asleep.

As she fell right to sleep, Dhaya chuckled under his breath at just the speed she was out. He watched her for a good while before using the throw to blanket himself, though it only covered his human torso. His head was swimming, but he managed to relax and fall asleep for the night. Unfortunately, it wasn't the entire night as the chill nipped at his scales, and it was a wonder he didn't bring the tent down as his coils scattered into the small room. Teeth chattering, he snapped awake with a start. "Well this isn't good." His body was a vibration of shudders, and he glanced over at the bundled Liz, snug and warm in her bag. Crawling towards her, he couldn't deny the warmth radiating from her, and for a split second his shaking ceased. He placed a hand where her hip would be, and sighed. "Well, she might not be too happy in the morning, but I'm going to have to do this." With that his tail nuzzled underneath her ankles. His movements were slow and calm, binding around the bag in six large coils from ankles to her neck. With each pass he maneuvered her and the bag so it wouldn't corkscrew her uncomfortably. He let the tip rest below her neck and curl on itself to create a pillow to support her head. "Much better," he sighed, the resonating warmth between the two of them enough calming his nerves. The rest of his tail pooled to frame around them as he took his place next to her on the mattress, covering himself with the blanket once more. His coils gently compressed in his slumber, tenderly handling Liz.
