Eden looked at the tail for a good while, before shaking her head quickly. "Y-yes. I-I would like to t-try." Her shaking paw reached for the tail, a short smile broadening her face.
The dragon pokemon searched the place in awe, smiling in the darkness of the hood, his tail twitching happily. A slight tinkle was heard as a few smaller trinkets filled his robes, unaware that there was another presence hiding in wait.

Samuel took her paw and began to gently guide her from the throne room. "Your guest room would probably be the best place to go," he replied. "Unless, you're curious about somewhere else, first..."
At the center was a glass encasing of some sort of clock gear, one with ancient enscriptions all around the face of the bronzed, aging artifact. All he had to do was lift the casing and reach in. But before he could grab it, he'd feel some sort of blade pointing at the back of his head just a foot behind him...

"Whatever y-you think might be the b-best place," she said. She looked back at her people before sighing, allowing Samuel to guide her to her temporary quarters.
He was just about to reach to lift the case, chuckling to himself with the hiss of the blade behind him. "Seems I let my guard down." He rolled away from the blade, turning to look at the source. "And it looks like I won't be leaving peacefully." A tug at each of the shoulders, the robe billowed to the floor. Scaled leather adorned a sleek Noivern, his belt ridden with tools. The collar of his tunic was furred a bright white, the leather a dark black. With a shake of his tail long, thin spines jutted out. His wings were covered in a flexible silver covering. "Shall we dance?"

The serpentine squire began to lead the Eevee back out of the lobby and began moving up the stairs with her. "So, Eden," he said, looking over to her. "What exactly is it that you do? What are you training for?"
"Well, I was hoping you would come peacefully..." a feminine voice spoke from behind him. The one holding the weapon was a long, blue Dragonair, dressed in what seemed to be a durable, but flexable and fashionable fabric that flowed down along with her body. The only metalic part was a chest plate at the upper part of her body. "But it seems you've made up your mind..."

"Oh, uh, it's not m-much." As they entered, she went to the middle of the room, turning about once or twice. She pulled out an assortment of stones, each one colored differently as she grasped a dark colored one with yellow bands at each end. She closed her eyes, muttering an incantation as her physical form began to change, soon an Umbreon of the same size as she was standing before him. A dark aura was strewn about her as she sighed. "That's a first... This one n-never worked before." Two black daggers had formed at her waist, soon they and the aura fizzling out back to her furry self. "I-I've been working on transformation stones. Some of my counterparts, others of some things that even I thought didn't exist. E-each stone gives me a different power."
"The peaceful thing would have been to let me be. Though it seems you've heard of me and came prepared." His name among commoner's became The Sound Devil over the years, it was only a matter of time before word reached a kingdom like this. "Word travels swifter than I thought. Now, how about I let the lady make the first move?"

Samuel jumped back in shock at the transformation she conjured with one of the stones. "Whoa! That's amazing!" he cried in excitement. "You can transform into mini versions of your evolved self! How did you come up with this!" He looked at the stone and back at her a couple times, clearly incredibly intrigued at the magic that was demonstrated.
"Yes, I've heard a bit about you. You're one of the more controversial criminals in the land..." she replied, keeping her guard up as she gave a small grin. "Though, to be honest, I wasn't really waiting for you. You simply caught me in my hours on guard duty of the museum. Lucky you." Her weapon, a naginata with a ribbon, suddenly glowed with a red flame at the blade before swiping at the thief immediately.

"It's a-an ancient tradition passed down. It's only been recently that I-I've been able to tap into it. "Though it's not just my other versions, there are some others, too. Some that seem to be other versions of me that haven't been identified yet, though I've only recently found their stones. Kitsune has been studying with me and h-helping me harness them." Several containment capsules were strapped along her chest and waist as she pocketed the current stone. "Neither of us have found out too much, my ancestors never really left instructions...."
Eyes widening, his tail lashed out, barely parrying the blade and locking with the flaming weapon. "Lucky indeed," he grimaced, pushing the weapon away and beating his wings once to retreat. Several needles clanked to the floor as the flames sliced through them. "Certainly a surprise. Shame this is my best tunic," he growled, the needles retracting into the tail as he somersaulted forward, swiftly swiping twice with his wings at the flaming blade. Each time she went to parry, she noticed the blade wouldn't make contact with his wings, but would be redirected, and she noticed his eyes were closed, ears twitching at an increasing rate. "Something wrong? You afraid to touch me?"

The Ekans seemed to look through the stones with his tail to his chin, pondering intrigued at them. "Hmm...maybe I could help you find something in our library..." he said, continuing to slither along. "We've got a few texts on relics and treasures, so maybe there might be some sort of mention of them to help you tap into that power and find more..."
The Dragonair danced back as he kept facing him, but noticed her blade wasn't hitting the wings as she blocked. They were being pushed by an invisible force, presumably the sound vibrations pushing the metal. She gained some distance from him and pointed the flaming weapon at him. "No," she replied, the flame shooting at him directly in a fast-moving ball. "Don't really need to."

"R-really?" Eden perked up. "I w-wouldn't want to impose too much." Her tail thumped behind her in anticipation.
The ball of fire went towards his chest, knocking him into a wall back first. "Oof," he groaned, prying himself away from it. "Fiery one." He looked at her, then back to his wings. The silver plating had slid off at the impact, revealing his true wings, torn with holes. With a growl he slipped them back in quickly, snarling at his luck. "But I came too far to come this short." He sprung with angered speed, swiping at her weapon with tail and wings in a flurry of slashes. Yet he found her holding her ground, having to dodge more flame balls, finding himself staggering and heaving.

"Not at all! I'd be happy to help with such a cool discovery!" he said with a friendly smile. "I generally go there in my free time anyway!"
The serpent blocked and gracefully dodged the attacks with swiftness and precision, getting a few close calls but already noticing the Noivern growing tired. Though now, her weapon was no longer flaming like before. "Are you certain this is all wprth it?" she asked, raising a brow toward him as she kept the blade pointed at him.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Eden asked, her nervous tick gone, at least for a while, then realized it had been a journey to get here. "Though I could take time to relax, too, I'm not in any rush."
"Well, it's all I know," he replied. "You wouldn't know having to fight for everything, living in a place like this, without a care in the world." He roared in frustration, looking her straight in the eyes. They had clashed for a long time, and she didn't seem tired of his onslaught. His wings dropped, followed by his head. "I know when I'm beat. Do your worst."

"Ah, what the hey! Library's down the hall, so we can go ahead and see what we can find!" he replied, heading down the hallway once they reached the top of the stairs. "Besides, it's not late yet."
Shr heaved a sigh as she looked down at the Noivern. "You've got much to learn about me before passing judgement, Sound Devil," she said, placing her naginata behind her head. "But before you find your place, I'm afraid that I must place you under arrest for trespassing, attempted robbery of kingdom property and unprovoked use of force against a guard...yes, the ones outside count." She brought her head down to his, showing an alluring array of glowing spirals feom her eyes. "This time, you'll come peacefully..."

"Alright, I'll follow your lead," Eden said, the two of them practically dashing to the library to begin the search.
He averted his gaze as she made her display, snarling. "You don't need those for me to come peacefully. Lead the way." He reached back to his tail, unclipping the tail attachment and shaking it off behind him, folding his wings against his chest.

The snake seemed pleasantly surprised at her sudden eagerness as he slithered alongside her toward the door to the library. Inside was a vast collection of books with several shelves towering the two. There was plenty of informational texts and story novels all aroundthe place. A few guards, workers, even a civilian or two seemed to be reading from these texts.
The Serpent stopped the spirals at the moment and nodded. "Venient!" she called out as the guards immediately marched through the door. "Don't cuff him. Just take his weapons and keep an eye on him." The troops nodded, taking the attachment with the Weavile inspecting his person for anymore. The knight watched him vigilantly.

Eden almost cowered at the amount of books, scrolls, and texts. It was an ocean in there. "I could fill three lifetimes looking through here. You think there might be a way to narrow down our search?" she asked Samuel. "The answer could lie anywhere..." she soon trailed as something shimmered in the light. She closed in before reaching up to a shelf. A grey stone was layered with milky white wisps, and next to it a dusty, webbed set of scrolls. As she took a hold of it, the stone shook, beams of light flashing about the place. As the lights dimmed, before Samuel floated an almost spirit-like figure, with white eyes, and her body a calm grey. "Whoa, now that's a new one," she muttered, her voice a mix of several different ones mixed together.
The Weavile would be surprised at the amount of smaller knives he found tucked in the furred leather cloak, and the Noivern even clacked his legs as talon guards lined with blades slipped off of him as well. He rolled his eyes as he used his tail cautiously to remove more hidden trinkets. Yet as the Weavile reached for the wing coverings, he snarled, which made the other guards flinch in his direction. "Take it easy," he wheezed, unfurling them and shaking them from his body, giving them full view of his ragged wings. "What, never seen anything like me before?"
