Kaamila's back was turned at the moment, but her scenes knew something had just happened. Before she could even leave, she turned around and saw that the human was awake

Seth remained silent for the moment. He wasn't sure how to react and that thought frightened him. So all he could do was pretend to be quiet and not talk. He didn't remember anything that happened the prior day aside from meeting Kaamilla.

"Are you awake my little man?" she asked. But she knew that the spell had worn off, yet she wasn't worried at all. He wasn't armed as he was down to his boxers, and where would he run to, for this whole jungle is her domain that she knew better than he ever could. Even if he did run, he won't get far.

"Y-you again!" Seth stammered, wide awake. "What...what happened? Where am I?"
He truly had no memory, nor any recollection of Kaamilla's power, which could work to her advantage...

"Yu, I am not a female sheep. Call me by my name if you please. I Kaamila, princess of this jungle." She comes in close and places a finger under his chin.

"Sorry...Kaamilla. I forgot your name for a moment there," Seth said, freezing at her touch of her finger under his chin. She was so close...

She wondered if he is just scared of her and that is making him more compatible to accept whatever she says to him. A thought popped in her mind, if she left him alone, or thought alone, what would he try to do? "Well thank you, now I'm gonna go search for some breakfast, I'll be back when I've gathered enough." Without another word she slipped her whole body into the tree top and was quickly going through the trees.

Seth felt a wave of relief as she left. Now, he decided, was the best time to try and escape!
Carefully maneuvering himself, he held onto the tree trunk. Slowly, he slid his way down. He noticed that he couldn't find the tattered remains of his clothing or his knife. Inwardly cursing, Seth knew he would have to adjust to living without them. Fortunately, he still had the tiger skins he obtained, but those were a fair distance away.
He glanced back at the tree he had been trapped in.
"Finally...I don't know what happened before, but I have a bad feeling about that snake-woman...I'm not sure why, but... Seth thought as he tried to hurry away.

Up high, Kaamila was laying on her stomach along a thick branch. She rested her hand onto of her interlocked hands. The end of her tail flicked back and forth, like a cat on the windowsill. "I just knew he take that chance. But where can he go? I know all the ways of this jungle, there's no human village that way or anywhere nearby. In fact that pathway most would stay away from. Cause there are pools of quicksand out there. He may need help from above."

Even though Seth was unfamiliar with the jungle, he had enough sense to use a branch as a walking stick. As he approached the path that had quicksand, Seth noted how the walking stick had started to sink. If nothing else, Seth was still sharp in mind.
"So...this path isn't safe...very well, I'll have to reverse my direction. Maybe...maybe that Kaamilla woman isn't so bad," He thought once more. He took a deep breath and shook his head. His stomach rumbled. He needed food...and she had mentioned breakfast...
It was decided; he'd go and approach her for help with getting food.

Kaamila was close, in fact she had never lost sight of him. As he poked around the sand she stayed put on her branch and had a small fruit from the tree. Some of the victims to come through here were unlucky, for they notice the fruit but they would quickly fall in if they didn't know about the sand. "He noticed the sand, but there's is more than one and if I remember right I'd say he is caught in the middle and is surrounded by quicksand. Tell me charming how you gonna get out of there?"

"Kaamilla? Where are you? I decided to reconsider...and apologize for running off. I was just...confused and scared," Seth admitted as he called for her. But he heard no response. Rather carelessly though, Seth stepped into another quicksand puddle. This one had been more hidden and the stick hadn't picked it up as easily.
Fortunately, Seth had the survival instincts to not move around to worsen the situation he was in. But if he couldn't get help soon, he'd be in trouble...

“Reconsider what?” she asked in a slight tease. From above she hung upside down from her tail like a possum. She saw he was stuck but she kept her distance. She won’t let him go under but thought it be funny to let him ‘play’ in it for a little while.

"...Your offer for breakfast," Seth said, loudly enough for her to hear. "Unless the intention is to have me become this quicksand puddle's meal. Truthfully, I'm fine either way. As I said, survival of the fittest in this here jungle. And if this is how I am to die, then so be it."
This was no bluff. Seth had no idea whether or not Kaamilla was simply here to mock him or not. As far as he cared, the quicksand could devour him. Anything to free him from the life of survival after the crash that left him stranded...

“Survival of the fittest.’ Even though I am princess of this jungle, personally I think that motto is stupid. Now I could help you out of there or should I just let you stink, after all you almost sound like you want to be swallowed by the ground.”
