Kaamila lived a peaceful life in the vast jungle. A lamia with long black hair and amber eyes. She had the upper body of a human, but her waist down was a long thick tail just like a snake. She wore only a blue covering on her chest for clothing. Not a lot of her kind lived in the section of the jungle she resided. So the other creatures of the jungle don't always know of her. However she wasn't a real problem to them. For she was kind, unlike some in her species. The few that did know about her knew they didn't have to fear her, unless you made her angry. Some of the monkeys from Louie's domain learned that the hard way when they played naughty around her. Which sent them home with a few spanks.
Kaamila was lounging in a tall tree with thick foliage, escaping the heat of the jungle, that was pretty warm today. She was pondering if she should head to the stream and go for a dip in the water. As she thought that she heard the sounds of what could be a creature coming over from below. But she didn't pursue at the moment for the jungle is filled with creatures big and small, so sounds are bound to come by

Mowgli was walking in the jungle, feeling upset and betrayed. He wanted to stay in the jungle, but both Bagheera AND Baloo told him that he should be in the man-village. Now, here he was, feeling lonely. After a while, he stopped in front of a tree and sat down to rest not knowing that Kaamila was in the tree.

Curiosity got the better of the lamia, and she moved from her lounging spot to see who came by. Simply turning to look over the ledge of the thick branch she was resting on, she faintly saw someone having a seat on the tree. It was small and, though tricky to make out passed the branches that were blocking some of her full view, Kaamila realized it was a human. But what was a human doing this deep in the jungle? Now more interested, she sat up and looked more carefully. She could make out it was a human but could be a cub.
Wanting to see a bit more, Kaamila moves her long tail and lowers it down till it reached the ground. The end slips under the creature's legs and grasps her body's length. With little effort her tail lifted up, bringing the human along. It was like she was fishing.

Mowgli sat at the base of the tree when he suddenly felt something wrap around his waist. It started to lift him up.He gasped as soon as he saw who it was. "Kaa wait your not Kaa.”said Mowgil as he blushed when he saw the lamia.

“Kaa? Well our names are similar. But I am not that mean serpent. You can call me Kaamila,” she said. Now with the creature up close, she could see moreso it was indeed a human. But only a little one. A cub. His skin tan, and short dark hair. What was different then one she saw before, he was only wearing a loincloth for clothing. Again she wondered, what was a human this small and young doing in the depths of the jungle?
“What’s your name, and tell me what are doing here in the jungle?”

“My name is Mowgil and the reason that I’m out here Kaamila is because Baloo and the stupid panther won’t let me stay in the jungle.”said Mowgil as his face started to become more red when she got close to him.

"Stay? You live in the jungle?" Kaamila moves a little closer and gave his hair a sniff. She could smell the jungle on him. A scent only one living in the jungle would have. She also smelled panther and wolf, the second was stronger. "You have," she said. Thinking Kaamila wondered if there was a time she overheard gossip of a cub living in the jungle. Even being raised by the wolves. Perhaps this was the same one, for it could be the reason for his smell. He was young. To her he may be a younger sibling in the nest. She was young too. Not an adult yet, but no longer a child.
"Do you want to play?"

“Sure if you help me stay in the jungle then sure I will play with you Kaamila.” as he started to dream that he was the same age as Kaamila so he could be her boyfriend.

Kaamila lets him down so he can stand on the branch himself. "You're so small and light," she said softly, not really to him.

“Hey Kaamila is it okay if I stay in the jungle with you?”asked Mowgil hopefully she would say yes so he would not have to go to the man village.

In a quick whip, her tail slid between his legs and lifted him back up. She then started swinging the curve he sat upon back and forth, turning her body into a swing for him to ride on.
"That's a question to ask. I wonder why you would. We just said hello and you want to stay. Just what is it that is making you have to leave? You may be a human but I don't see why that means you can't."
Kaamila was surprised by his sudden request, that she ended up almost rambling on her thoughts almost going astray to telling aloud.

“It’s because of that dumb tiger named Shere Khan.”said Mowgil as he looked at Kaamila hoping that she would not be afraid of the tiger and send him to the village.

"Shere Khan the tiger...oh yes I know of him. I also know his hatred for humans is unending." Kaamila did recall that she heard the tiger had returned to the jungle. But their paths hardly ever cross. Like one thing, he mostly hunts on the ground. He's hardly ever in the trees.
