To live in the wilderness where there was excitement and an adventure to be had everyday. That was what one naive girl foolishly thought when she put a rather reckless plan to come to India in the hopes of starting a new life. But instead of starting that life in an actual civilized area...she choose to go where the 'adventure' was in the form of the Indian Jungle... And...that's how Emiko ended up in the situation she was in now...
In the heart of night and the sun had long since fallen. The once excited girl who had came into the jungle feeling energetic and adventurous was being rapidly reduced to a frightened woman who was scared of her own shadow... This...wasn't how it was suppose to be and it made her wonder how things got so messed up... When she thought back to how all this happened, it...didn't really make sense...
Emiko was a young girl who grew up in the very modern, civilized country of North America. Growing up with the common luxuries the first world provided, she often found herself bored with the mundane existence of modern society. She wanted something more out of life than just what became routine moments day in and day out. And that's when her fascination with the Indian jungle actually was planted.
Through a series of books, movies, pictures, and many other creative outlets, Emiko came to have this misconception that the jungle itself seemed a wild place with great adventurous potential. It was indeed a wild place, but...not in the way that she THOUGHT it was. And these clearly fictional creative works instilled a false perception that took Emiko a bit further than pure fascination... She was pushed to the literal point of obsession.
Her obsession to start a new life in the jungle was so powerful that...Emiko began making plans and arrangements that took months to come to fruition. As luck would have it, her efforts would prove to be quite successful as her careful and calculated moves paid off big time. In less than six months, she was on a flight to India as a representative of the company she worked for with the excuse of a 'business trip'.
It was a simple plan from the start to find some sort of way to actually GET to India and once there, she'd sneak off into the wilderness to start her own life. Sure, it was a simple plan. However, the unintended consequences of being reckless and careless with her grandiose vision didn't make themselves known until much later... It was unfortunate that...everything went exactly as Emiko had planned... Getting to India, and getting lost in the jungle outside of society was the easy part. But...the unfortunate nature of that ease came to haunt her when she didn't find the excitement she thought she would...
She had set out into the jungle in the twilight hours of the evening and found a landscape unlike any she was use to. The jungle was hot and humid and thick foliage made travel exhausting to say the least. This terrain was hard enough to traverse for the most seasoned explores. For a simple girl who knew nothing of the jungle...it was a nightmare. She was very much a green horn at this and it showed in every way...
Perhaps the biggest way her inexperience could be seen was her choice of attire to 'live' in the jungle with. Having not understood the appropriate clothing necessary, Emiko had set out in her casual, everyday style. A short sleeve, loose light blue blouse with a similarly colored knee length skirt around her hips. On her bare feet were a pair of simple black flats and little else to defend against the jungle showing how ill-prepared she was. The only saving grace if you could even call it that was that she had the foresight to tie her shoulder-length dark brown hair into a pony tail to protect against the heat and her matching brown eyes were firmly focused on the path(s) before her. Otherwise...she stood out like a sore thumb.
The entire time from the evening hours to dusk, Emiko had done nothing else other than walk... She didn't find excitement or adventure like she expected. No, her time was spent traveling through the thick jungle brush to a place...honestly she didn't know. And that's how she ended up horribly lost by the time the present moment came to be... At this moment, her sense of adventure was long gone and she was starting to horribly regret coming out here in the first place... It wasn't so late into this endeavor that she couldn't turn around and go back home. However...that wasn't happening to night as she could barely see where she was going much less backtrack the way she came. She needed to stop tonight and rest. She...could return home in the morning.
Deciding to rest for the night was the first right decision Emiko had made since coming here. Even her decision to rest in a tree was a smart one! But her streak would unfortunately end there as she choose rather bad ways to get into a suitable tree that would provide her refuge... Everything from trying to hug-climb up the a trees thick trunk to climbing up flimsy vines backfired quite horribly to the point of pure comedy. After half an hour of experimenting with a method that would have taken her five minutes tops to complete, she FINALLY made it into a taller tree by scaling smaller ones and walking from branch to branch to get to the bigger ones.
Now safely in the tree, she picked a particularly sturdy limb that could support her weight and nestled down into it as best she could. The branch was firm and hardly the most comfortable thing she had ever sat on... The bark as well was harsh against her delicate skin and there was literally no room for her to lay down. She'd have to sit up and sleep if she wanted to rest at all... And even then, she doubted she'd get much sleep with how uncomfortable this all was... Suddenly, her warm, soft bed back home didn't seem so bad...
"...This was a stupid thing to do..." Emiko said, mostly talking to herself at this point. "...I never should have came out here like this... First thing in the morning, I'm going to retrace my steps and I'm going back home... I just hope I can sleep through the night..."
Sleep was the highest concern for Emiko at the moment. However, there were far greater dangers in the jungle than just losing a little bit of shut eye... The dangers here were VERY real and if those dangers had their way, she wouldn't be getting out of this as easily as she hoped... Only time would tell just what sort of trouble this naive youth was in for...

Meanwhile, high up above the thick branch that gave refuge for the lost woman, the large, primal shape of an Indian rock python lounging around on the few branches that could support his length beyond camouflaging the brown and tan scales that showered his coils. The yellow eyes stared at the starry sky above, reflecting what light shined above down on his sleepy lids. Rather a long and slow night for the mighty python that went by the common name of Kaa in this part of the jungle. Normally, most animals would love the cool cover of the night blanketing the lust landscape of the jungle, more so for the predators that were nocturnal in their hunts.
But Kaa was not in such a mood of quietly celebrate a good-nights sleep coming soon. In fact, this night felt like the past three nights in his high den: in that there’s no excitement in the air at all. He let out a small sigh of a depressed note as his tongue flickered out lazily, nothing of note…. of course.
Normally, under more favorable circumstances, he would gladly be slithering his 40-some feet of muscled coils along the earthy foliage to hunt for whatever he could amuse himself with. Oh, there were the elephants that stomped around in an annoying march of superiority and the occasional tiger flickering itself with claws that tore, but a large snake such as him held a title of a top predator in the jungle.
Oh, he could still remember how he use to scout around the ferns and trees, hunting around for a fresh deer to entertain himself and (the best part in his opinion) scouting a village for the occasional man and girl-cub to come into his thrall for his own amusement and nourishment from time to time. Honestly, anything was better than those loud and annoying monkeys that sometimes played pranks on him (especially if they were under king Louie’s employ). However, the villages that he once scoured had either wizened up to his search patterns or simply moved on to more-plentiful areas of the jungle over the years. It’s been so long since he visited the last man-village that he forgot about it, and maybe….no…. they were probably long gone at this point. He could’ve tried his luck the new concrete man villages, but everything about them’s ugly. The foul smell coming from those metal huts and carriages, the hard concrete that itched his scales, and the fact that he got nearly spotted and killed several times the last time he tried to sneak into such a smoldering and crowded cage they called a village. Two words on that experience: never again.
Suffice to say, tonight just seemed destine to become another period of solace without anything interesting of note for Kaa to actually interact with, and there was the question of his emptying stomach, when was the last time he ate? He lost count after a month, and really, with this new season coming around, he wasn’t gonna find any suitable prey anytime soon, not till….wait….
Kaas flickering tongue suddenly picked up a scent, faint and un-familiar to this part of the canopy, but still there….and warm! Kaas lulling head perked up as his eyes widened upon the nerves of his tongue processing the warm scent of something just below him…. something just under him. It smelled foreign, fresh like…..a girl-cub! His mouth slowly began to twitch in a nice smile as he took in the scent of the nostalgic presence of a girl-cub within his territory. Oh yes, it’s been quite a while since he found some interesting prey that actually would be worth contending! But what precious seconds of the night there were indeed! He had to see for himself for further confirmation on what the buds on his tongue were indicating to the increasingly-revigorated python.
His head slowly moved itself down and he merely poke his eyes out of the leaves just about the girl-cub to take in her appearance, and goodness, first impressions didn’t disappoint. Such a dainty appearance, and with strange skins (clothing) that didn’t fit with the tropical environment at all! Oh dear, this girl clearly didn’t look as if she belonged in the jungle in the first place. Kaas smile grew to a near-manic level as he assessed how much luck he possessed just finding such a catch just below him, but how was he gonna approach her. The last thing he wanted was for her to run, and it has been a while, so perhaps nice and slow and charming will be the name of this long game. Now, to just get started on ensnaring this girl-cub for the night and beyond…. Moving his head back to where just his yellow eyes barely penetrated the leaves above her, he cleared his throat and start to speak out with a slight hiss….
“Sssssy now….” He spoke up, very politely in his manner of speaking as he was with his slow approach. “…what do we have here? I mussst sssay that a branch and trunk of a trees’ssss not the most comfortable of placessss of ressssst.”

Emiko had no idea that she had climbed up into the tree of a very bored, yet very hungry python. Kaa was no doubt infamous amongst those that called this part of the jungle their home. However, this naive girl was as oblivious of the snake's fame as she was the fact that he was even there in the first place. And even as he slithered about the trees to get a better vantage point at which to observe her more clearly, she failed to notice him... Instead, Emiko was so focused on trying to find some position on the branch to get comfortable that there wasn't any room for her to notice anything else even if Kaa was trying to stand out.
For several moments, Emiko fidgeted about doing her best to find some sort of comfort. And in her efforts, she only further displayed just how out of her element that she was. Kaa was right in his assumption that Emiko certainly didn't belong here in this jungle. And it would have been comically ironic had he known that she had came out to a place she DIDN'T belong so that she COULD belong. All the same, her presence within the jungle was a humorous joke to him, but a potentially fatal one to Emiko...
Just as frustrations over trying to get comfortable were about to boil up, Emiko was startled by the sound of a voice that...seemed to come out of nowhere. At first, Emiko literally thought that she was hallucinating and just hearing things. But when the voice went on to speak proclaiming that the tree and the trunk wasn't a good place to rest, she suddenly realized that she wasn't hearing things. The nervous girl gasped nervously and started looking around for the source of the voice unable to see anything in the dark, but very much worried about who was in the tree with her... Had...someone followed her out here with harm in mind...?
"...H-hello? Who's there? Are you...someone from one of the local villages? What...exactly do you want...?" So many questions filled Emiko's mind as she feared the worst for...whoever was out here... Her imagination was running with all sorts of dastardly possibilities...

Oh, this night would be just grand for the powerful python that kept watched over the girl-cub that tried to find the source of his voice. Just a grand time for him and all! Now, this all did well to tempt him into revealing his face to the confused girl-cub and get it over with as he always did, but she did look nervous still. Deer often fled off quickly in fear at the slightest threatening noise, what difference for this lost girl-cub in his neck of the woods? He didn't wish to ruin this build-up of trust after all, and besides, what's wrong with changing things up? It's been a long enough time without some prey to mess with that he can go with a different approach. She seemed secure enough, however barely, to ask questions about his existence.
"Why yesssss, I am a local, of a ssssort." He responded back, his yellow eyes still gazing down on Emikos form with careful intent. "I jusssst live among thisss part of the jungle for mossst of my life, and i wassss just curioussss as to who came to my domain, isss all." His words were to the point, as one could expect, not that it would allay the girl-cubs fears, but if it helped keep her around....well, that strange sort of dress.....did she come from somewhere far off, more so than in any part of India. Yes, he could see that quite well with the perception he wore tonight. Dress wasn't keen to hot, wet climates, floppy sandals? That's gonna leave some feet sore, and she's sweating a lot, a nice salty sheen....okay, that would come later. Point is, she seemed far off, and Kaa could smile slyly at how much better this part of the deal was going in his way. All the more reason to haul in his catch once he managed to lower her guard.
"Oh dear!" He piped up, the leaves rustling as his eyes were more visible. "Where are my mannersssss?" He let out a bit of a chuckle over the ignorance of such a human custom as he spoke up again, his voice melting to a warm and charming step in his tone. "My name'ssss Kaa, simply that, and you seem to be....lossst, to be blunt." Of course it was obviously blunt, as if he needed to point that out with a girl-cub dressed as poorly for the conditions of India as THAT. "I never sssaw a girl-cub jussst managing to get up a tree and looking asss if they've never been here. Are you alright?"
That was more genuine method of concern on his part. If it's one thing that he didn't like out of prey, is them looking uncomfortable. It will be so much better to have her in his grasp, but slow and steady wins the race in this sort of scenario. His tail was slowly move along the leaves and winding it's way around the trunk, moving in a downward spiral to meet with her shape down below. Should she keep her sense on his voice, she shouldn't notice the the tail heralding the vanguard of his thickening coils hugging the bark downward.

Emiko was quite nervous to hear the sound of Kaa's voice unsurprisingly and...had he decided to go after her more forcefully, his assumption of her running away in fear was spot on. However, the python wisely decided to approach her in a more casual, friendly sort of way showing concern and care for a lost traveler. His decision to do so while remaining hidden away from sight for the moment were all the right moves and ironically played the naive girls well towards his coils both figuratively and in reality.
The naive girl listened very carefully as the source of the voice claimed it was something of a local. It was an odd phrase, but perhaps a hermit or someone like her who had maybe found a way to make the jungle a home? That made sense a bit, at least. The voice soon enough though introduced himself as Kaa which was...a unique name Emiko had to admit. The conversation soon switched back to Emiko herself with the stranger making comments about how she seemed lost and...not from around here... It was an observation that made Emiko blush from embarrassment...
"...I...I um...I'm not...really from around here at all, actually..." Emiko admitted somewhat awkwardly, trying to explain her careless decision to someone she feared would judge her... "...Truth is, I...had a strange fascination with the Indian jungle for...a while now. I came out here thinking I could...start a new life out here, but...I'm starting to think I'm not cut out for this life... Oh, and um...my name is Emiko! S-sorry for being rude and forgetting to say it earlier."
It seemed as if Emiko were able to form a connection with the snake despite not knowing the truth of the matter. As oblivious as she was of Kaa's true identity, she was even more so of the fact that the serpent's tail was winding and spiraling around the tree in preparation for perhaps something more dastardly... She didn't notice a thing in the moment and most likely wouldn't due to her inexperience until it was too late to turn back...

Alright, so far so good for Kaa at the moment. The bait was being set, and Emiko was nibbling on the lure just before the yank, but he had to keep playing it safe and smooth. Any wrong movement at this point could forfeit an opportunity to capture easy prey for consumption in all due time. This girl-cub's quite polite, too much so for her own good! But he could appreciate the nice form of manners from such a timid one that stumbled into his territory. A fascination, hmmmm? A fair enough reason as Kaa could gather for anyone. There were plenty of wonders that could dazzle the eye of anyone and anything that dwelled among the environment India could bear, be it local or foreign.
That reminds him; she wasn't from around here....and that meant that there weren't any witnesses that could harm him once he started to ensnare her as his prey. A quaint bonus for the python if he ever heard it, but there's still the issue of his next move. He could simply move his head down further and expose his face for the girl-cub to see, but that could produce a bit of a panic with Emiko, would it? As far as he could tell and gathered during his decades of life, most people regarded his presence with apprehension, if not out-right fear and running away. He couldn't let her get away while he's preparing his physical trap from her nervous eyes. He would need to keep playing up until she agreed to get a good look at him on his terms. For now, perhaps his eyes would suffice, for the distance was good enough to where she wouldn't think any different from a reclusive hermit.
"It'ssss no issssue at all." He said with a dismissive chuckle, trying to assuage her earlier regard for her intrusion. "Conssssidering how...ill-prepared you are, and no offenssse to you, I can imagine that thisss was sssafer than no shelter at all." His eyes moved closer through the thick tuft of leaves till his yellow eyes were visible right above Emiko, enough for his first trap to be sprung when he was ready. "It'ssss been a long while sssince i had sssomone here at all, and normally i do like my ssspace." A biiiiit of a lie, but what Emiko didn't know couldn't hurt her at all. "However..." His voice turned warm, as one who would view a scared kid would say from the gutter of a muddy road. "...given your ssssituation, I'm willing to make an exception, and for you, I'll do my besssst to make this night cozy."
Was it wise for him to let that slip out as he tried to serenade Emiko with assurances? He didn't know, but not like she was gonna look as long as he kept the conversation towards him and his presence, and nothing else. "Oh, and sssorry for the peek, I jussst had to sssee who i wasss speaking to, is all." He said simply with a slight hum. "My, you really did come a long way didn't you? Well, I can certainly help you out through thissss jungle if you let me, and...oh dear, why am i even asssking for that when you mussst be sssso tired, no doubt!" His fake admonishment could put many A-list actors to shame, he took it, and no medal for him, he does this everyday.
"Sssay, in that casssse, could you do sssomething for me?" He asked with his hissing starting to slow slightly to a somewhat calmer slope. "It'sss a sssimple requesssst, and i think it'll help."

As funny as it was to say, there wasn't anyone in the world who really knew where Emiko was... She had been so secretive and vague about her trip to India that very few people even knew where she was. And even those that did weren't likely to learn that she was missing for...quite some time. In this moment, she truly was all alone without any chance of being found. The only exception MIGHT be someone from one of the local villages stumbling upon her, but at this time of night, even that was a rare chance... Kaa essentially had all the time and opportunities in the world so long as he didn't spook his catch away. And he seemed to handle that masterfully.
Emiko found herself a bit more taken in as the 'hermit' within this part of the jungle continued to speak. He wasn't shy about pointing out how...out of place she was, but also was kind enough to offer his help if she were willing to accept it. And at this point, she really didn't feel like she had much of a choice. Emiko had came into the jungle rather full hearty thinking she had it all figured out, but now...she was seeing how wrong she was. She needed help desperately and...it wasn't like anyone else was going to help her where she was. It was a miracle she found Kaa to begin with.
The naive girl was just about to actually make some comments about Kaa's offer to help her among other things when...she noticed something peering out from the shadows above her. Falling into a curious silence, she squinted her eyes and moved closer to get a better look only to see what looked like...amber orbs glowing in the dark. She hadn't the faintest idea exactly WHAT she was seeing, but when Kaa apologized for taking a better look at her, that...made her feel confused. Where those big, amber orbs she saw this person's eyes...? Was...that normal...?
"I...um...it's fine, but...was that or...I mean..." She stumbled about, not sure how to point out what she saw without seeming rude. Before she had a chance to speak though, Kaa asked her if...she'd be willing to do something for him. Naturally, Emiko's curiosity got the better of her and she tilted her head cutely, curiously even wondering what he had in mind.
"...I suppose that I could do something if...you think it will help... What exactly would I need to do?"

"Nothing major, jusssst...." With that, his eyes seemed to flash a bit before he began the real fun for the night. ".....relax and let me look at you assss I ajusssst...." He let out a long hiss, a rasping drag on his serpentine hiss that dropped from the usually-friendly banter of nay above a seductive whisper to Emikos ear, distinctively reptilian in it's design. The verberating hissing echoed around the humid, still air of the night and wrapped themselves around the poor girl-cubs head, offering the seductive premise of safety that would be beyond anything a human being can offer. The soft tune wrapped itself into her ears and worked upon her mind, softly layering itself in a soft sheet of song against her range of audio recognition. Granted, the soft hissings of a disguised serpent alone would nay suffice enough to assuage any upcoming fears of his disguise being nothing but a carefully constructed lie. But no matter at all, he's already beginning to show the next stage in his entrapment over this poor, lost woman in his territory.
In the seconds it took for his soft hissing to finally level out to a whisper on his scaly lips, his eyes began to shimmer and begin to ripple out a slow, steady symphony of colors that were not unlike an alien rainbow to Emiko. It was nothing much in detail; a simple array of sky blue, golden yellow, light green, and a sandwiched band of deep purple, all spilling over out of his eyes and to Emikos own. They simply moved slowly and steadily, only picking up speed in-between the seconds to ensure that Emiko's looking just right and long enough to get hooked on the dizzying spirals that would work in tandem with his hissing rasps that worked on her ears. Make no mistake to the secret intent, the colors each held a potent power of a hypnotic suggestion, each spirals that rippled adding a pulse of warmth and comfort, a calm and cooing desire to trust the covered Kaa calmly and completely. It would take a few minutes at most, but considering her position and tired state, she was easy prey to fall for his powerful spell on her mind, to banish any fears deep into her mental recesses and to keep looking, to look for the answer to her problems within his view, through his view, to be exact.
"Yessssss, jusssst look at me assss I help you." He calmly mused to Emiko as his eyes kept spiraling his colors at her, letting them layer themselves on her own. He hesitated to pull his head from the cover of the leaves just yet, not until she was too stunned to run or even make a peep of shock at his serpentine appearance. Besides, at the distance he was, it was enough, but he did move a tad closer, his spiraling eyes more in view for the girl-cub to get drunk on his power, his colors that will wipe out her meager resistance, or at least, any she possessed to begin with.

Emiko honestly didn't know what this hermit was going to request of her and honestly thought she'd end up jumping through hoops in the end with some insanely difficult task. However, when the individual stated that he merely wanted to look at her, that...gave her considerable pause. Those apparent amber eyes if...that's what they are, were already looking at her and her attention hadn't ever left them. What sort of value was there in letting herself be looked at when...he seemingly already was...?
The answer to that question would prove more mysterious as the glowing yellow of those eyes seemed to take on a new sort of glow. Out of the center of those amber orbs came the strangest display that Emiko had honestly ever seen in her life. Rippling rings of colorful blues, greens, and purples slowly started to emit from the center of the orbs while moving and flowing in the most...captivating way... It was quite attractive to the eye and as mysterious as could be with...some very noticeable effects on the young girl watching.
Emiko was so curious and confused by the sudden change in patters within the 'hermit's eyes' that she didn't notice how...addicted she was becoming staring at them. Her body all at once started to feel rather relaxed and calm with even a slight numbing feeling of sorts. As she stared on, she also noticed how this feeling wasn't just contained to her body, but...somehow manifesting in her mind as well. Her thoughts seems to grow more sluggish and her curiosity or...perhaps desire for more growing... Emiko didn't know what was happening, but it felt good...really good...
Sort of liking how the rippling colors were affecting her in what seemed like a magical way, Emiko slowly scooted herself forward just a bit more to get a closer look at those colorful eyes. She wanted to watch them a little more, a little closer if she could. She hadn't the faintest idea what was going to happen, but...there was no harm in indulging her curiosities a little bit, was there...? After all, the hermit WANTED her to look at him as he 'helped her'...whatever that meant.

Things were going so well so far for the massive serpent, all things considering. He wasn't that much close in terms of hypnotic power, and already, the confused girl-cub's being fooled into looking at his signature gaze before the plunge. What luck to find an exquisite girl-cub that's so eager, however tentatively, to follow his lead to help! Still, as stated before, he wasn't close enough to strengthen his mental grip on Emiko, not yet at least. He had to take great care to not move himself too far into revealing himself, especially with the tip of his tail now within striking distance of the girls feet and legs if need be. Alas, all part of the careful planning a snake of his cunning could do while she still had the conscious ability to act like a skittish deer at any disturbance to this stunned moment.
Still, that didn’t mean he couldn’t widen his eyes and move juuuusssst closer, bring the lure in closer for her to want to snag on before yanking her will back justly. She just needed a bit of a motivation to entice herself to keep looking at a treasure she didn’t think she needed till now. Surely, she would appreciate his gift as it kept drilling herself into her field of vision, trying to gently coax her out of her nerves and into a plain of bliss for her own mind. At least, it’ll keep her from having to focus on the layered humidity and the starry night beyond what his hypnotic colors would allow. They at least would captivate her more than what the sky can do anyway.
“Yesssssss, come a bit clossser for me.” Kaa spoke up, his voice rising to an eager hiss, steadily dropping the pretense of a reclusive hermit. “Jusssst keep looking into my eyessssss….” His hissing smoothed itself out into a steady beat that would worm upon her ears and warp with each warped color that washed over Emikos own eyes. Both sense working in tandem to wear down her first line of mental defense, so she wouldn’t be able to jump away and run at the first sensation that would wrap around her being…. literally in this case. Speaking of such an event, the very tip of his tail wiggled around with an air of growing impatient, wanting to curl itself around the petite form of the lost girl-cub for safe passage into his domain beyond the leaves. Each ring kept sending out wave after wave of utter dis-armament of her alerted senses, to feel good about following the advice of a lone hermit coming to relieve her of her sorry position. “You were losssst, that much isss certain…” Kaas voice continued to lisp out with a hidden smile growing in the rustling glow of the leaves, only faintly visible from the lights from his own rings. “…but now you are found, and you will be safe in the care of me.”
With such a declaration, his tail tip began to activate the first phase of his risky plan: the tip began to go and slowly curl itself over Emikos ankles, the scales soothingly brushing over her own skin. Hopefully, her attention’s still paid in full that she didn’t have to look down, and all of the sensations would be awashed in a sea of bliss that would be coming in both ways.

It was so odd to her... The swirling ring-lights that Emiko was looking into had no real explanation. Their mere appearance was as mysterious as the effect they seemed to have on her. An effect that, while already potent seemed lost on her even as it grew more pronounced... The longer Emiko looked into the hermit's eyes and saw those rings, the duller her senses seemed to be and the foggier her conscious became. Yet...she didn't seem to register any of that in the slightest. All she really noticed was...how interesting those lights were, and how she just wanted to see more of them.
Naturally in that frame of mind, she'd push herself even closer towards the source of the rings inching carefully, but curiously forward. At this point, somehow the hermit's words started to appeal to her in a more...dominant way? Like it was the voice of a parent, or a teacher or something. His instructions had a ring of 'command' to them that made it difficult to ignore. That became clear to her as, when the serpent instructed her to keep looking into his eyes, that was exactly what Emiko did. She inched forward even more, keeping her gaze forward on those spiraling lights, and could not even comprehend looking elsewhere...
Poor Emiko was so focused on the eyes of the snake that she seemed oblivious to everything else around her. She hadn't the faintest idea what sort of creature was capable of producing lights like these. That was as far from her mind though as the fact that the snake's tail lay in wait behind her ready to wind around her body at a moment's notice. Thanks to Kaa's careful antics, Emiko had no idea what lay in store for her, nor would notice it in the way she should have even as the serpent proceeded to make his move on her...
Emiko would inch forward just a bit more til she was as close as she could be without standing up to see into the shadows. It was in that moment that the snake's tail had came alive and wound it's way around her ankles. Despite her feet instantly being bound, Emiko didn't seem to notice that as much as the sudden feel of the coils on her ankles. The texture of the scales and sudden appearance on a rather sensitive part of her body was more what she noticed, and naturally caused her to moan aloud in a sudden fit of bliss... It...was an unusual reaction from a girl who just had her feet bound, but one that was sure to tell the snake he had stumbled on something powerful. And as he predicted...Emiko never one time shifted her gaze away opting to instead keep staring forward naturally curious what had just touched her, but...unable to look away to see.

What was that noise that the girl-cub flowed out of her mouth? It seemed like some moan of danger, but not. In fact, if Kaa had to gather any info based on his cautious tactile command to his tail, it seemed that he found his test...pleasing. If she react like that with only his tail barely touching her feet, and being so receptive of his gaze now, who's to say that couldn't work in conjunction to his plans? Oh, this just made his little game with this lost girl-cub all the more delicious in irony. It couldn't have gone un-noticed that his actions and her responses were prefect for such an occasion where he could gain his prize all in one night. If it was one thing that pleased the primed python on any encounter, it was a human that had such weaknesses that would induce pleasure from his traps that would make them as nothing but a meal.
And Kaa loved a great game, tis a shame he's starting to win so easily. Ah well, can't really have his charming words and hypnosis if you weren't a snake like him, right?
With Emiko still mentally shut off from the stimuli around her, Kaa began to initiate the more risky part of his plan. His tail slowly moved itself away from her ankles, leaving a thickening band to tighten fast to her ankles to make sure she couldn't run even if she tried. Every part of this had to go just right....right enough to to move her close and feel the full magnitude of his visual effect. The sand-brown coils went to run themselves over her legs and began to slowly form a seat just soft enough to her to adjust herself comfortably in his grip, but firm in hold to make sure she can be pulled up towards the bushes so she can see him in full.
"Anyway, while my time with you'ssss at a peak on thisss night..." Kaa started to say as his coils began to steadily lift Emiko up towards the bushels of leaves where his face's concealed, like a scaly elevator lifting his gracious (potential) dinner guest to his domain for all time. "...you ssssaid that you came here sssearching for something..." Kaas eyes widened as his spiraling colors flared wildly. She was getting closer, just a foot away from the leaves. "....something about a new life, or wordssss to that effect?" Kaa spoke those last words with a tinge of sympathy, cooing down to a girl lost in the woods, lost and alone. "Allow me to show you...that you came to the right place to enjoy yoursssself here."
Finally, her cute head moved through the gap of the leaves, allowing her to see his serpentine face in full. The "hermit" now revealing his gaze, his dominant view against her own as his eyes would now be felt to their fullest extent. There was nowhere the girl-cub would run to now, not even if she knew what compelled her to get to this close to Kaa. His coils had managed to move Emikos body high enough from the branch she made a residence on to keep her from thinking about moving, lest she fell and sustain serious injuries, to speak nothing of falling to the bottom. Besides, his hypnosis would do well to keep her attention to him, the one offering her shelter, a special place in her time of doubt, or not knowing why she came here at all. Oh, the irony of the situation, the fact that she came here in one of the most important days of her life in the thrall of a python that saw her as a lost morsel, a prime target to be manipulated towards a long road to her new home, a new place of being, if you will.
"Jusssst keep looking." Kaa spoke as he swayed his now-visible head towards her, his hissing leaking into her vulnerable ears as each spiral sent out a command of wading in the bliss and comfort her offered her. "Be not afraid, but accept the gift of my ssshelter."

Whatever the serpent was planning in the moments that followed the revelation of her weakness was utterly lost on Emiko. While she did notice a slight pause in things, she couldn't quite comprehend what that was all about. She hadn't the faintest idea that the snake was assessing her situation carefully and crafting a plan to push this just a little further.
When things did eventually get 'moving' again, they started with the python making the coil already around her ankles begin to twist and turn. Kaa feed more of himself into that coil providing additional freedom for his tail to go elsewhere. And the feel of those rotating coils was utterly divine to Emiko. The poor girl let out yet another moan loving how the texture of his coils felt gliding across one of her most sensitive body parts. She was naturally curious what she was feeling, but...his eyes light up with a mysterious glow had her attention. And no matter how much she wanted to look away, she just...couldn't...
Magnetized to his gaze like she was, Emiko would find herself helpless to see what would happen next. Kaa put the next portion of his plan into action by slowly slipping his tail over her waist, and under her thighs. A little bit of maneuvering, and the silly girl was no longer sitting on the branch. Rather, she had been positioned upon a coiled seat that was ready to move. And yet...Emiko never looked down to take notice of it. She felt it, and wanted to, but those glowing eyes... They took her focus and wouldn't let it go.
It wasn't long after she had been repositioned into a coiled seat that the snake decided to reveal himself to her. He lifted her body effortlessly off of the branch without Emiko showing the slightest hint of concern. Here she was just...suddenly floating on a strange cushion, feet bound by a strange substance, and she felt no fear or concern. In fact, she seemed...eager; so eager to get closer to those lights that captivated her so. It was all she could think about, and all that she wanted...
After a slow, and carefully deliberate lift, Emiko's head finally cleared the foliage where Kaa's form was shown for the first time. The illumination of his scales from the moonlight caused Emiko's eyes to momentarily switch glances from his eyes to him. And she was stunned by what she saw. The Hermit...was a snake! A large, talking snake! She almost couldn't believe it, and almost immediately put two and two together to understand what was happening. The cushion under her and the bind on her ankles...it was the snake's body!
Admittedly, fear was the first emotion that the girl felt when she came to the realization of who this was and what was happening, but then...she saw his eyes again... And this time, they were close. Whirling, rippling pools of colors that danced before her vision in the most captivating way. And just shifting her gaze back to them was enough to immediately calm down those fears... Kaa used that to his state to instruct her to keep looking and to not be afraid. He wanted her to accept his 'gift' of shelter. And all of a sudden...Emiko wanted to do just that... The rings in his eyes...made her not care who he was anymore or what was happening to her. All she wanted to do was...accept his 'gift'...

Of course, he expected Emiko to show fear at his true face. Most humans seemed to react the same way at the sight of serpent such as himself, if his encounters with hostile village's any indication. However, his hypnotic gaze managed to wipe away those fears, followed by his cooing promises and a seemingly-warm smile stretching on his scaly lips. Oh, how routine this job was, but he knew better than to take a risk at this point. What mattered is the girl-cub's continued expectation to pay her capt- well, more like providers un-divided attention. His head kept swaying like a calm, steady pendulum, moving its way closer to Emikos stunned head until his snout achieved parity with her own nose, a slight chuckle escaping his lips. At the very least, she wasn't aiming to escape the lights of pleasure he gave her so far. But nothing substantial so far, it seems. Perhaps her mind needed a bit more convincing to let go of her doubt and lend her trust for the night to him.
After all, nothing's better in this game that molding a weakened mind to a shape that would please her new master and guide...for a while at least.
"Do you ssssee me now?" Kaa spoke calmly, his head twisting its way around Emikos own, a part of his neck laying itself around the girl-cubs shoulders and gently rub their scales against her clothed skin. With the moans she emitted from his touch against her body, how could he pass up the chance to take advantage of her weakness. "I do apologize for not sssshowing you before." He spoke up with a sad frown, pausing to make sure the coils around her ankles now twisted and winded themselves in a perpetual motion, to keep her docile in her moment of bliss. "I jussst didn't wisssh to sssee you run off before i could offer to help a lossst one on vacation."
His head returned to meet her own eyes in full force, his smile of seeming-sympathy returning. One small step out of the other after all. "After all, I made a promissse to you and I intend to keep it." A coil went to slowly wrap around her head, fixing her small ministrations to follow his eyes strictly to the front of her. A potential meal didn't need to move so much. "After all, that'ssss what a new friend doessss to a new face to the jungle, hmmmmmm?"
A friend.......friend......yeah, he could work with that.

Emiko would sit on the coiled cushion rather quietly after the python's initial exposure, and rest to stare helplessly into his eyes. There...wasn't really anything else she could bring herself to do. Something about those eyes had magnetized her attention preventing her from looking away. And though she were only bound by her ankles alone, somehow just the mere presence of his coils had silenced her body... Or...was that perhaps his eyes as well?
Honestly, Emiko was barely pondering any of these facts let alone thinking of any sort of escape. Instead, she had what was turning into an unhealthy obsession for the rings flowing in Kaa's eyes. She was so captivated that when the snake started to move behind her shoulders and return to the other side of her, the naive girl's head followed. Only to break away for a second to swing to her left and watch him move back to the front with a new coil on her shoulders. It just rested there, but...she did nothing to stop it from doing what it wanted to do.
There was however a slight reaction when the coils around her ankles started to rotate and turn in a sort of endless, perpetual motion. The feel of the snake's scales constantly grinding against Emiko's sensitive ankles caused her to let out yet another moan. She momentarily lifted her feet up as an instinctive reaction only to feel her bounds secure and...relaxingly moving. In mere seconds, she'd relax her feet again and hold them steady as if to show she'd do anything for this feeling to continue...
During all of this, Kaa spoke to her about...different things. First, by apologizing to her for how he had greeted her, but assuring her he DID want to help her. And Emiko took it all without even questioning it... A moment or so later, a coil would strangely find it's way to Emiko's head where it held her steady and gave her a sort of tunnel vision directly into the snake's eyes. And that's...when his rings were at their most powerful...
With nothing else to look at and the snake finishing his speech to assure her he was her new friend, Emiko felt unusually safe and comfortable... Enough so that, for the rings finally took their hold... Her own brown eyes began slowly began to shrink down to a mere pin-prick. And then seconds later, they would slowly blossom open to flow with rings just like the ones she was looking at...
The process had began, and as the rings actually flowed through Emiko's eyes, they left her with feelings more profound than what Kaa's eyes delivered alone. Waves of bliss and relaxation washed over her without end slowly dulling her senses and leaving her feeling more...submissive to the python. His scales on her body momentarily seemed to vanish in feeling leaving only Kaa and his eyes. But when feeling did return, specifically the coils around her ankles? Emiko melted. She moaned even louder and found herself leaning forward into the 'tunnel' to get an even deeper look at Kaa's eyes...
