Kaa slept very well this night. Even though it was a bit risky of him letting Emiko sleeping in his coils without any security measures in case she might wake up early, but just having such a nice lady on his tree and thinking of all the fun he will have with his future dinner once he wakes up made him confidentially fall into da deep sleep. But after an endless series of nice dreams something was disturbing his slumbering peace. Something slightly pushing against parts of his scales and some noises that sounded strange to him at first. It took his mind to shake off the numbness and realize that those noises were the voice of a human. As he slowly raised his head and opened his heavy eyes be started to remember that he had a guest sleeping in his coils. And as his vision cleared up and his eyes began to register his lovely guest Emiko again, a broad smile appeared on his lips once again, interrupted by a big yawn.
*Yaaawn* "MMmh, oh Good morning, my dear. Ssssay, have you ssslept well in my coilssss?"

Emiko had been so frantically trying to figure things out that she didn't even see it when Kaa started to wake up from the sleep he was in. She was lost deep in her thoughts the entire time and didn't notice even as he slithered his way over to her to bid her a good morning... It...honestly wasn't until the snake actually wished her a happy morning and questioned how she slept that she let out a frightened squeak and turned towards him in a bit of a panic. Though a little frightened...it was nothing compared to the paralyzing fear of yesterday.
"O-oh...I...you...Wait...I...I remember..." Emiko softly commented, as she started piecing things together. "...You were that talking snake that brought me into this tree last night...right? I...I must have fallen asleep somehow...in your coils... But...how did that happen...? I slept all night?"
...It was quite clear that Emiko was still not completely sure about everything that had happened which in some cases was good while in others, not so much... And also unlike the previous night it didn't seem like Emiko were capable of staying quiet. At least she wasn't running for her life or trying to fight the snake or anything stupid like that. She did have a lot of questions though and...answering them might be the best way to go... Or...taking advantage of her confusion to silence her immediately with swirls... The snake honestly couldn't go wrong with either direction he chose to approach it.

Kaa let out another yawn as his head went up to Emiko's eye level. She seemed more confused than anything as she was asking Kaa about last night and it didn't seem like she remembered any of those hypnotic rings his eyes. Inside he was very happy about that she didn't remember that he has some help by a few hypnotic rings, but on the outside he looked at her with a sad, yet sympathetic expression.
"Oh, you poor thing! You can't remember anything from lassst night? Don't you even remember how I offered you my coilsss for the night? How hesitant you were at first, but finally accepted my coilsss happily sssinccce you sssaid that they felt sssso sssmoth and cuddly?"
As he told her about that conversation they never had Kaa moved one of his coils and 'accidentally' stroked briefly against one of Emiko's legs, giving her an impression of how his scales feel on her skin. He continued his lies, the serpent better didn't take things too far here, but he better adds a little bit more to it to make it more plausible.
"When you got ready for bedtime you wondered if today will be getting asss exxxhaussting as the lassst day and... well, you ssssee, I felt ssssorry for you and while I usssually don't have much guessstsss on my tree I had offered you to sssstay here for another night. I sssaid you could ssstay on this branch to relaxxx and sleep so you can continue your path through thissss jungle tomorrow fully relaxed and refreshed. It'sss a bit sssad that you don't remember any of that, becaussse you... you didn't sssseem against thisss idea. You sssaid it would probably be a good idea sssince you felt ssso exxxhausssted and sssore from the lassst day, but asssked me if you could sssleep over that decisssion. Ssso, what do you think about my offer?"
The python smiled int the friendliest way possible. Right now he had nothing to loose. Emiko could either fall for his lies or if she still wanted to leave Kaa could easily give her a proper demonstration of his hypnotic eyes...

Emiko had no way of explaining what had happened prior to falling asleep in the python's coily bed. As a result of that, she was a bit more inclined to listen to what he had to say. She hoped that...what he said would bridge the gap between when she was taken up into the trees and...when she woke up this morning. The story he told however...seemed to have holes in it...
She had came out into the jungle to search for some ruins and had gotten herself really lost in the process. She also remembered the python introducing himself and 'trying' to relax her with his coils. Though there was a paralyzing fear that she recalled prevented that. When he went on to say that she actually agreed to stay with him and sleep on a decision to have him help her find through the jungle the following day, that's when things sounded out of place...
Emiko knew herself well enough that...asking a talking snake for a pathway out of the jungle would have been the LAST thing she would request. If anything, she'd question how he was able to talk among other things about him. That seemed more like something she would have done, but...the snake was saying she did something to the contrary which made her feel slightly suspicious... She didn't necessarily believe the snake was lying, but...she clearly didn't trust him entirely either...
"...I...I don't recall..." Emiko softly replied as she took a couple of slow steps back. "...I know I was tired last night and...I don't remember everything, but...that doesn't seem like something I'd...necessarily say... Are you sure that's how it all went last night...?"
...It was about that time that Emiko suddenly realized that sometime during the night she had lost her shoes and was now barefoot on the branch. While...it wasn't unfeasible that she might have kicked them off in her sleep, she couldn't help but have this sneaky suspicion that the python had something to do with it... And right away she glanced towards him with skepticism unsure of just how much she trusted the python...

It seemed like Emiko wasn't completely buying into all of the lies Kaa had told her. He might have gone a little bit too far to make it believable. He needed to come up with something quickly! Something that would potentially weaken her suspicion against him and also distract her for a bit to buy him some time.
"Uh.. oh yesss, I forgot sssomething! I asssked you what you wanted to eat for breakfassst, but before you could sssay ssssomething you already fell asssleep in my coilsss. Wait, let me sssee..."
Kaa remembered that there was a banana plant near his branch. He was glad that he remembered that it was there. Personally he despised the taste of bananas along with most of the fruits and berries this jungle had to offer, but he was sure that his guest wouldn't mind to get something to eat. There was certainly no harm in taking some food from a snake and it was a kind gesture by him. Once he found the bananas he picked a few of the yellow fruits and brought them to Emiko.
"Here, I'm sssure you mussst be hungry! It'sss never good being hungry!"
-----------------------------
When Kaa picked the bananas one of them got loose and fell off the plant, then several feet down until it landed on the jungle floor. It wasn't a very loud noise the jungle fruit has caused by its fall, but it caught the attention of a certain strange creature nearby. A creature that has never seen a banana in its life before. A blue, half transparent tentacle reached out to grab and examine this strange new object, observing its yellow peel and its white, mushy insides. The creature that was studying this banana with its tentacle wondered where this strange fruit suddenly came from...

Kaa had seemed somewhat suspicious before with the story he tried to sell to Emiko. However...when he abruptly changed the subject to the topic of breakfast, that's when something really started to seem fishy... It wasn't necessarily the fact that he was saying and doing random things that made her suspicious as much as the reason WHY he was doing them. The python's behavior was...odd to say the least and Emiko couldn't quite understand why that was the case... What was the python up to...?
When offered a couple of bananas, Emiko was a bit hesitant to take one at first thinking something might be up. However, she didn't want to let on that she was starting to get very suspicious of the python. So...in the hopes of deflecting Kaa's suspicions about her own suspicions, she would reach forward to take what was offered to her. Though...being as 'subtle' as Kaa had been, her slow movements didn't exactly do the best of jobs concealing her obvious caution towards the snake...
After taking the banana, she did offer the snake something of a smile to show her appreciation. Emiko even went so far as to peel the banana and take a bite making things seem as if they were perfectly normal. However...her gentle glances around the tree seeming to study it along with her words that followed put any efforts she had of deflecting suspicion completely out the window...
"...T-thanks, I...appreciate the breakfast... I do wish I had recalled the conversation that we had last night, but...I'm sorry I'm just drawing a blank..."
After saying this, Emiko suddenly spotted what looked like a long vine that seemed to extend down to the ground below. Figuring that was her best bet to actually get out of this tree, she decided it may be time to go before things get a bit...weirder... It wasn't so much Kaa that was freaking her out as much as it was just the situation she was in. Lost deep in the jungle with no clue where she was, or where to go... She...just honestly wanted to get back to civilization and put this whole thing behind her. So, she started to casually walk towards the vine fully intending to leave, but was also courteous enough to at least let the python know what was up.
"...Look, I appreciate your helping me last night and...giving me a place to sleep. I am grateful for breakfast this morning and for your continued kindness but..." She softly replied as she tapped the vine with her foot to see how attached it was. "...I just...really want to get home... The jungle isn't a place for me and...I made mistake coming out here alone. I'm not safe out here and I'm so out of place... I'm...just going to go so that I can get home... Please know that I am grateful though for your help..."

Kaa got nervous. It looked like his efforts of getting some food for Emiko didn't exactly help her feeling less suspicious about the whole situation. Watching how Emiko got up on her feet again to move away made him realize how much things were getting out of hand for him right now, or out of coils to be more precise. And did she really think that the python didn't notice how she was testing out the stability of the vine next to her? Who did she think she was fooling here?
"Y-you want to leave already? Oh. Oh, I get it! You don't think you are welcome here, right?" Kaa slowly followed Emiko who was about to take the vine and finally get off that branch. His neck formed a loop which he placed right on her head like a scaly crown. He wasn't sure if this move was a bit too forceful on his part as he was resting on her head, but it certainly helped him keeping his guest on this branch for a bit longer and buy him some precious time. "I don't blame you for thinking that! I know that thisss jungle can look very intimidating or even hossstile to an inexxxperienccced girl-cub like you!" His loop slightly widened to let it swiftly slip over Emiko's eyes to obscure her vision. "If you let me help you and you believe in me, you will ssseee thissss jungle with different eyesssss very ssssooooooonnnn..." The python had decided it was useless to fool around and play out his trump card. As he made his dubious suggestions of 'helping' her, his eyes widened and in a matter of seconds they were filled with an insane amount of hypnotic rings. He let Emiko struggle with the blindfold around her eyes for a bit longer, but slowly began loosened its grip so she had a better chance to free herself again. Though it was up pretty much up to debate how free she really will be once she saw Kaa's hypnotic eyes right in front of her!
---------------------
Down at the ground of the jungle, Yeoog looked up so see what had caused this strange yellow fruit to fall down. Her blue blob shape stretched out a bit to see if there was anything up there hidden between the foliage of the trees. Suddenly, she heard some distant voices up there. It was impossible to hear what those voices were actually saying form her position so she needed to get to properly hear any of it! She went to a tree nearby and engulfed its trunk with her bluse slime to slowly crawl along its surface like a snail.
It took her a while to finally reach a branch that was high enough. Yeoog gathered her slime together so that none of it dropped off to the ground again, not that was afraid of getting hurt in case she'd fallen, but the last thing she wanted right now was to crawl up that tree again. Yeoog looked around and wondered where those voices had come from, then she spotted something on a tree nearby. One was someone resembling that person the slime creature had seen when she got free after eons of imprisonment. She could also make out that scent that had led her to this place. There was no doubt that the person on the branch was the same one helped her getting free!
But there was this other creature. It looked... strange. Very long and thin... with a big head on its end. A part of her slime tried to mimic its shape and formed something thin and longish, but it was too difficult for her holding the shape of that wobbly tentacle for very long. She didn't know how dangerous that other creature was so she decided to watch them from the distance. Why did it place itself on the young lady's head? It didn't look like she really wanted this happening to her. And why did the eyes of that thing were suddenly showing those... strange colors?

By the texture and movements of the vine, Emiko was pretty certain that the jungle rope would hold her well enough to allow her to get down to the jungle floor below. She...didn't exactly know what was going to happen once she got down as she had gotten so lost and didn't know the way home. Still, she had to try to somehow get back to the village. She knew she had only so much time to be found before anyone searching for her would give up and leave her for dead... She didn't want that to happen...
Emiko was honestly just about ready to grab onto the vine and slide down to the jungle floor below when suddenly...something coiled on top of her head jerking her back a bit. "H-hey!" She cried out as she nearly lost her balance and ended up needing a bit of time to regain what she had lost. Once regained, Kaa kept throwing her off by interjecting his own thoughts on her situation.
Emiko raised an eye brow curiously as the snake claimed that she must not have felt welcome here and understood how that could be possible. While that wasn't how she felt, she wouldn't get a chance to contest it before the crown atop her head loosened up just enough to slide down and cover her eyes effectively blinding her entirely. Having her focus shifted once more, she started working to get the coil off of her not understanding what this was about...
While this was strange enough as it was, things only seemed to get weirder when Kaa explained how that if she would allow him to and believe in him, she'd see things with 'different eyes' soon enough. She she heard that, it honestly drew a blank. What on earth was the snake talking about? And how could he help her see things differently than how she already was? It didn't matter... At this point, she had had more than enough of staying quiet and started to speak against the snake while continuing to struggle to get the coil off her head.
"What are you talking about!?" Emiko fumed as she worked to get that band off of her eyes. "It's not like that! It's not that I don't feel welcome here, I just want to go home... And I don't understand what you mean when you talk about seeing things with different eyes... What do you even...even mean...when you...say...different...e-eyes...?
It was midway through her questioning when the coils covering Emiko's eyes FINALLY loosened enough for her to lift the band off her eyes. What was waiting for her though was something she could never have prepared herself for... In an instant, Emiko's vision was suddenly taken up by the snake's head with these...mysterious rings of color that flowed on and on in and endless pattern before her... Not expecting this in the slightest, the only reaction the girl could seem to muster was a nervous gasp and to stare back unsure of what she was seeing. That action...would prove to have devastating consequences...
As she stared back helplessly into Kaa's eyes, Emiko was unable to prevent what happened next in the form of her own eyes gradually shrinking down into a pin-prick before blossoming open swiftly into spirals of her eyes. As the first rings of color flowed through her eyes and washed over her mind, it worked to ensure that her head was perfectly magnetized to Kaa's preventing her from looking away even for an instant. With more and more rings flowing into her mind however, the nervousness and tension she had moments ago began to fade away leaving her strangely relaxed and blank... It was potent enough that poor Emiko seemed to lose control of her arms as they fell limply to her sides leaving her to helplessly stand and stare, taking in as much of those beautiful spirals as she could...

Kaa removed his scale crown from her head and looked deeply into Emiko's formerly brown eyes. His spiraling gaze exposed her to an insane amount of blue, yellow and green eyes and let her stare at those strong and fast waves of flashing colors. He wondered if she might remember them from those little doses of his hypnotic power he had shown her yesterday as his head swayed from side to side to mess with that her mind. His long, forked tongue slipped out and licked along his lips that had formed a broad smile. He began to sing:
"Trussst in meeeeee, jusssst in meeeeeee..."
His tail slowly approached Emiko. There wasn't a proper moment before to mention it, but a little bit of that banana he had offered her was stuck on one the corner of her lips. His tail placed itself on her collar bone to stroke her neck and her chin on its way upwards then it was beginning to tenderly touch her face. Admiring how warm and soft it felt he wiped that little bit of banana off the corner off her lips, then rubbed along her lips that felt even softer.
"Look into my eyesssss and trussst in meeeeeee..."
----
Yeoog was carefully watching them from her tree. That snake has somehow managed to freeze this lady! How? And why was he singing? When the creature removed his loop from her head she didn't do or say anything, yet her eyes had started to show those same strange colors. This girl cub could have run away easily now, but she didn't move a muscle. Did her odd behavior have anything to do with those strange eyes or was it that song? If it was that melody then why didn't it affect Yeoog? Then again so did those eyes, at least from this distant spot. Does it have to do with how close you are? As that creatures began to move his long, thin tail began to touch that lady the slime being wondered how she might react to this...

Poor Emiko wasn't the least bit prepared to handle or resist the onslaught of hypnotic rings in the python's eyes. That might have been evident already by the fact she was already standing somewhat limply with rings flowing through her own eyes. What really gave it away though was the look of astonishment on her face showing that...while she had been exposed to it the night before, she had so little memory of it that this was more or less a first time for her... Perhaps a good thing or Kaa, honestly. Certainly in no way a bad thing.
In any case, when the python started to sway his head too and fro, the poor girl was helpless to follow right along with him. With every sway regardless of the direction he took, the captivated girl would follow swaying to the right or left depending on which way he moved. Though her movements weren't quite as wide or graceful as Kaa's were, the only real purpose for Emiko's swaying was to keep those eyes as perfectly in line with her own that she could. She was...basically magnetized to them at this point and couldn't stop staring, taking in the colors even if she wanted to...
Not long after they started their little hypnotic dance, Kaa started to...strangely sing a rather odd song. While there didn't seem to be any reason for it to an onlooker, it did wonders for any resistance, or suspiciousness the girl might have still had. Almost immediate, Emiko felt this strange sense of trust beginning to swirl in her being. Even stronger was the growing feeling that not only could she trust Kaa, but he could trust JUST him... Those mere lyrics combined with the python's eyes were so powerful that by their short end, everything was gone...
Obediently, Emiko looked hard into Kaa's eyes when commanded and found herself actually smiling with a strange sort of comforting trust growing within her as she neared closer and closer to falling into trance. She had fallen hard enough at this point that...when the python gently politely used his tail to rub some of the banana off of her lips, she showed no signs of aggression or resistance. In fact, her smile seemed to widen as he traced her lips kind of liking how his scales felt on her body... That, too worked to push her into trance and honestly put her right on the verge of falling needing only one tine push to send her into blissful oblivion...

When Emiko began showing that helpless, blissful smile on her lips, Kaa smiled back and nodded at er to show her how pleased he was with her falling more and more into this hypnotized state. He slowly slithered backwards while still letting his eyes display his hypnotic powers. His tail slipped away from her face to make a few gesture in front of her eyes as if he was beckoning her to follow him. If Emiko had absorbed enough of his hypnosis already it won't be difficult for her to follow his instructions and start to walk.
------------------
Yeoog wondered about the girl's strange reactions. A few minutes ago it looked like she wanted to leave that tree and now she was frozen in place and even smiled at this long, brown creature while both of their eyes showed those weird colors. Then he saw how that creature waved the other end of its body in front of her eyes. It looked like it wanted to make the girl follow him along the length of the branch they're on. While it was quite a long branch, it surely wouldn't be a long walk for them, so what was that creature up to? The movements of that tail inspired Yeoog to create another temporary tentacle with her body and imitate the beckoning gestures she saw. The slime creature found those movements kind of appealing...

Emiko certainly was quite helpless at this point, but she didn't realize to what degree that she was... By letting the spiraling rings whirl through her eyes to suppress her own consciousness and allowing his words to influence her thoughts and feelings, it was quite obvious how dangerous her situation was. And yet...in spite of the dramatic change in her attitude and rather odd side effects that seemed to come from watching the spiraling eyes...Emiko didn't seem to notice, let alone mind... At the moment, all she could focus on was how pretty those colors were and how much she was REALLY starting to trust the snake...
By this point, Emiko had already been dangerously close to falling to trance. Kaa had hit her with such a hard barrage of spirals that it set her mind up in a rather precarious place. Add to that the fact that Kaa used his words to seductively worm a sense of false trust into her being and it was no wonder that what happened next ended up causing her to fall into the abyss.
When the python started to draw back and moved is tail before her eyes to softly gesture for him to follow him, something clicked... It was impossible to say why, but for some reason Emiko found Kaa's beckoning tail as hypnotic as his eyes. Perhaps it was her submissive nature floating to the surface, or the desire to make her 'trusted' friend happy that made it happen. Either way, his tail would no more need to wave before her face thrice before a soft *PING* sounded off in her mind...
Within an instant of that little sound signalling her trance, her spiraling eyes began to pulse wildly and a silly little grin spread over her lips happily. Despite having JUST fallen, Emiko didn't miss a beat of obeying as she started to joyfully walk along the branch without a care in the world. As she traveled, her spiraling eyes would stare into the snake's spiraling eyes until they left her field of vision. In which case, she would simply stare into space and continue to move along the branch helplessly, almost...carelessly...

Kaa had hypnotized enough people and animals to see the indicators when they have fallen to trance. Emiko's eyes and smile went wider as she fell into a state of bliss and obedience. Her was very happy, especially when she started to move her feet and walk along the thick branch as instructed. While all those things were already good signs that her mind was in a completely hypnotized state, he needed to be sure about that.
He let the helpless girl pass by his head on the branch and let her continue her way. While Kaa could easily take her to a safer place as she made her way towards the end of the branch, he needed a proof of her mindless obedience. He had some bad experiences in the past with some of his more clever and strong-willed prey that was able to only pretend being hypnotized even though her eyes and facial expressions told him otherwise. So to make sure Emiko didn't just try to fool him he had commanded her to step over the edge of the branch without any hesitation.
As her foot took the final step that would make her fall to her doom, his tail quickly caught her by placing it on her forehead. It looked like Emiko wasn't bluffing with her hypnotized state! Even though those actions were always a bit risky, Kaa was more than pleased with the results.
"Hold ssstill, pleassse!"
-------
Yeoog who was still playing around with this little tentacle she had formed when suddenly she saw how that girl on the other tree started to move and mindlessly walk along the branch. What was she doing? Didn't she see that she would fall? Did those colors make her blind? Why did the python want to hurt her? The slime creature wasn't sure how much harm a fall from this height did to a human body, but she remembered that the durability of a human was way lower compared to what her goo body was able to take.
She watched how that young lady was nearing the end of the branch. If that creature didn't stop her already she will fall! Yeoog considered for a moment to give up her cover and reach out for the girl to catch her with her goo, but as the helpless girl took her final step she saw that creature placing its tail on her forehead and letting her hang there as if nothing had happened. Phew, that was close! The way this girl happily dangled there while only the tip of the creature's tail held her in position looked quite appealing to Yeeog. She placed that tentacle she had formed and placed it against another part of her body, but her tentacle just sank in and mixed with the rest of her slimy body.

As the now hypnotized maiden made her way down the branch, she had no way of knowing that Kaa had full intention on 'testing' to see if she were truly in trance or not. Considering that this was her first actual time of falling into a state like this, there wasn't really any reason to think she might be faking an experience she had never had before. Still...it was quite understandable why Kaa wanted to at least put this to the test and in her current state...she certainly wasn't going to mind.
During her trip down the ultimate test, Kaa would actually receive several indications to help dictate the authenticity of her state. The first, most obvious one was how Emiko seemed to walk haphazardly down the branch almost falling over the sides more than a couple of times before catching her balance. Other indications that might make themselves known however was how she just seemed to move in such a relaxed way with a quite submissiveness about her. These things helped to showcase the extreme 'trust' that she had in the snake. Still...while things might hint towards Emiko's trance, nothing brought the suspicion to a firm confirmation like when she stepped off the branch...
Without a care or concern for herself, Emiko walked the entire length of the branch and didn't show the faintest hints of hesitation as she literally took her final step off of it. She willingly walked herself to what seemed like an impending doom only to suddenly be saved by the python's tail as it pushed against her forehead, leaving her straddled to the branch. Even though she had been saved, Emiko continued to move her dangling foot around a bit trying to still obediently walk which basically confirmed everything Kaa needed to know.
The mesmerized girl would only continue to flounder her foot about for a few more moments until she suddenly heard Kaa instruct her to hold still. Without missing a beat, her foot lost all life and started to simply dangle over the idle space. As well, her body seemed to fall limp too leaving her helpless form in that moment totally at the mercy of the snake. If what just happened didn't give Kaa the proof that he needed, there wasn't honestly anything she could do that could convince him.

Kaa was very happy that Emiko had passed the test, the spirals in his eyes had vanishing because at this point he didn't need them anymore. While the python let his mindless companion dangle over the edge of the branch, his coils prepared a staircase below her so she could continue her walk on his body. Once he was done with it he removed his tail and let her set foot on his scales. His invertebrate body had formed several 'steps' so she could properly stand on them without slipping to let her continue her way without any problems. The snake decided to continue his little lullaby as he watched her making her first steps on his scales.
"Ssssleepwalk on meeeee, ssssafe and sssssound...."
--------
Yeeog still couldn't figure out what was happening between that young lady and that creature. Why did she seem to trust this animal so much that she was willing to hurt herself when she was just about to leave a few minutes ago? The slime assumed that something must have happened to her that made her act like she was out of her mind. That creature had stopped showing those colorful rings in his eyes while the girl still had them in hers. She began to wonder if it had something to do with those.
The slime girl had to admit that she was really impressed with the flexibility of that creature as it formed a path with its body and let the girl step on it. Was it safe enough for her to step on that animal, what will be her reaction? Another verse by the animal could be heard, did it help him getting her under his control even more?
