As Ravenna lowered her head to avoid looking into Celaine's artificial eye, she at first thought perhaps Ravenna was just needing to process everything she had been told. When the moments turned into minutes however, Celaine began to steadily realize that there...was probably more at play than just that... She had her suspicions; everything from Ravenna potentially finding her appearance abnormal due to her false eye to her perhaps just trying to avoid its hypnotic power. Regardless of the reason though, it...was obvious enough to Celaine that Ravenna wasn't comfortable looking at her...
Not wanting her guest to feel anymore uncomfortable than she probably already was, Celaine slowly turned away from Ravenna and looked into the fire place again. She stared into it quietly for several moments before Ravenna's question took her somewhat by surprise. A bit shocked, she turned towards Ravenna and looked at her somewhat dumbfounded before breaking into a hearty giggle.
"Mistress Saveria and I...together? Oh, heavens no!" Celaine responded happily as she stood up from the bed and made her way over to her desk to grab some...random piece of paper. "...We're close, that's true, but more on a level of deep respect for one another. She's my Mistress, and I'm her servant, it's that simple. I do understand why you might think that, though... I'm taking it you saw that little ritual between us with the kiss and all..."
With the random paper in hand, Celaine lightly crinkled it up into a messy ball and made her way back to the bed once more. Taking a seat next to her guest again, she started to lightly fiddle with the paper-ball for no other apparent reason than to just toy around with it to pass the time... There...was a purpose for her having it, but...she wasn't quite ready to reveal the reason for it just yet...
"...Fact is, I need that ritual...frequently... My eye requires magical energy in order for me to see and...enchant things. As I'm no sorceress, it drains my life energy when I use it. The kiss you say was...just the way that Lady Saveria starts the magical transfusion process. She gives me the energy I need to maintain my eye and starts it with a kiss. When she's in a good mood, she'll sometimes include a bit of foreplay for fun just because she knows how much I like it. Otherwise though, there isn't really anything between us romantically... I haven't had feelings for anyone in that way since before I came here... What about you though, Ravenna?"
With a bit of a mischievous smile, Celaine lightly reached over with her free hand and gave Ravenna a harmless, teasing little nudge. She let out a soft giggle as she started tossing and catching the wadded paper ball for her own amusement and started to teasingly inquire about Ravenna's love life.
"...I have a hunch, but still...I'm a bit curious. What possessed you to think coming into this place and stealing from my Mistress was such a good idea? Saveria has quite the reputation for not being messed with and yet...here you are. Did your boyfriend put you up to it with a romantic reward attached for completing your mission? Maybe...you're trying to attract the eye of a certain someone and the riches in this place are your ticket to it? I'm curious who that special someone is who either put you up to, or inspired you to come here."

“S-sorry!” Ravenna said hastily, blushing in embarrassment, but Celaine hardly seemed to mind, laughing raucously at Ravenna’s ignorance, and Ravenna was glad to have not offended her, and slightly gladder to have not been correct. From what she’d seen of Saveria and Celaine’s relationship, it was not one of lovers, and the idea that it might have those sorts of aspects troubled Ravenna.
Nevertheless, Ravenna remained quiet, her eyes following the balled up paper as Celaine idly tossed it in her hands, as she listened to Celaine explain it more fully. That being said, Celaine’s explanation didn’t quite ease her mind. The kiss she’d seen the two of them share had not simply breathed life back into Celaine, it had breathed magic into her as well. The very concept was surprising, Ravenna had never heard of magic being shared at all, much less in so intimate a way, although she was starting to get used to the surprises. It seemed that, if she’d learned one thing in her time at Sanctuaire Sanctum, it was that she knew nothing about magic, regardless of how many magical artifacts she held on to.
“Me?” Ravenna asked, blankly, for a moment, though she soon felt her face growing hot with embarrassment again as Celaine joked about her having a boyfriend. “No,no, it’s nothing like that! It’s just…” Ravenna’s voice trailed off, leaning against the headboard thoughtfully. “It’s...you said Saveria has a reputation. You’re quite right, and that was why I wanted to do it.” One of Ravenna’s hands started to ball up into a passionate fist, as she continued to speak. “I want to be the best at what I do...the greatest thief in Europe. I’ve gone to a lot of places, stolen from a lot of high-security places, so...this seemed like the final test.” She was quiet for another moment, before adding, quietly, “and I failed.” She swallowed, her throat feeling a little dry, as her fate began to catch up with her.
Sure, Celaine had saved her from being killed by Saveria, but what was her life to be like now? Would she be kept up here. Would she ever get to leave Sanctuaire Sacre again? What was going to happen to her if something happened to Celaine, would Saveria keep her in captivity, or just end her life? Ravenna felt her heart pounding and took a deep steadying breath.
“So what...what’s going to happen to me here?” she asked, trying to keep the panic from her voice.

Celaine had purposely been teasing Ravenna about a boyfriend because she was trying to make the situation feel a bit lighter. And, it seemed to work as she got all flustered over the thought of it. This was followed by a passionate explanation of her desire to be the best thief she could be with Saveria's collection being the ultimate test. The explanation made Celaine giggle a bit as Ravenna's passion was on full display. But then...things got down again...really quick...
Hearing Revenna's voice trail off after mentioning that she had failed, Celaine looked over to see a sense of worry and fear starting to creep over Ravenna. And the moments of silence that followed made Celaine realize she was most likely thinking what would happen from this point on... The questions running through her mind were valid ones to ask and Ravenna didn't have to say a word of them for Celaine to see them herself... It...was all over Ravenna's face...
As Celaine thought about the situation herself, she knew that...what would happen after this was going to be something big and different for both of them... When the terms of the deal were made back then, Saveria agreed to allow someone Celaine chose to live in the cathedral with her with no real stipulations. The thing was...the ideal person would have been someone she loved that shared her feelings back... Truth be told, while Celaine did have something of a developing crush for Ravenna, she hadn't saved her for that reason... Celaine 'chose' Ravenna and ultimately saved her because she had provided her with a sense of joy and acceptance she hadn't felt in years. That choice though was now beginning to really sink. The reality of it was...she'd have to live with someone she barely knew because they shared a single loving moment together and for no other reason...
It...was honestly quite a bit for Celaine to take in herself and she had to bite her lip as she thought it through. However...when Ravenna quietly asked what was going to happen to her now, Celaine realized now wasn't the time to get down and worry about the future. They would have plenty of time to figure this out later. What Ravenna needed was peace of mind and rest. And...that was what Celaine would offer her.
She quietly stood to her feet for a moment and made her way over to the fire place. Once she was near the burning embers, Celaine glanced to the crumpled paper in her hand. Her magical eye began to faintly glow which...in turn caused the paper she held to glow as well causing it to become enchanted with her energy just like with the bells earlier. After enchanting the paper, her glowing eye returned to normal at which point she just casually tossed the enchanted paper into the fire allowing it to burn so she could merge her magic with the flames itself.
Her work with the fire place completed, Celaine would turn back to Ravenna with a calm and warming smile on her face. She quietly made her way to the bed once more, but this time instead of just sitting at the foot of it, she actually climbed in beside Ravenna and rested against the headboard. Once there, she lightly patted the spot next to her signalling for the nervous girl to sit near her so they could put her fears, and ultimately this night behind them.
"...There is never any guarantee of a tomorrow for any of us..." Celaine lightly replied as she whispered in a soothing tone. "...I've always learned to just enjoy the present moment and do what is required in that moment... For you, that means resting and healing your injured body... We'll worry about what the day holds tomorrow when the sunrises... For now...will you allow me to take care of you and help you find rest...? I promise that I will not hurt you and everything will be just fine..."

Ravenna’s worry about her future worsened as Celaine bit her lip, seeming to hold back on whatever horrors might be in store for her. Saveria had been dangerous enough to meet, the idea of living in the same estate as her seemed more than Ravenna would be able to take. She turned away, and Ravenna was certain that the next thing she would say would be some kind of punishment for her attempted theft, Saveria’s own way of torturing her that Celaine had accepted.
She sighed in relief when Celaine turned back to her with a peaceful smile upon her face. Nevertheless, she felt a little awkward as Celaine gently stepped into the bed beside her, and felt even more awkward as Celaine patted the space beside her, inviting her to come closer. She slid slightly towards her, though she took care not to touch her.
Even if Celaine’s easy affection eased her conscience somewhat, her words did not, and she felt her heart race slightly at Celaine’s words of there being no guarantee of tomorrow for any of them. It was certainly true, at a somewhat nebulous level there was no guarantee of tomorrow, but, for someone who had come quite as close to death as Ravenna had less than an hour ago, it wasn’t quite as relaxing as Celaine might have intended.
“Easy to say in *your* bedroom,” Ravenna said, gesturing around at the room at large. “When you wake up, you’ll still be in your bedroom. I...I don’t have the slightest idea of what tomorrow holds,” she said, even as she leaned back further onto a pillow. She took another deep breath. Celaine was right. If Ravenna had had a little more power, it might have done her some good to come up with a plan. As it stood now, she did not have the strength to do much but lay down, and worrying wouldn’t bring her strength back. “Sorry, I...I’m just a bit...nervous,” Ravenna held back slightly, even with someone who had protected her, someone who was being so caring of her, Ravenna didn’t have it in her to say that she was frightened. She gave her a polite smile, the best she could manage. “I know you won’t hurt me,” she agreed, though she doubted that everything was going to be fine.

Ravenna's points to Celaine were arguments that she wouldn't outright dismiss. Neither though did she allow her guest to see any kind of emotion other than a comforting smile when Ravenna expressed her own fears about not knowing what the future held for her. Celaine already knew Ravenna was quite fixated on what the future held for her and...it seemed that without some sort of guarantee to grant her peace of mind, she'd continue to go on worrying...
"...You have nothing to fear, Ravenna..." Celaine happily replied with a bit of a smile. She lightly reached up to run her hand through the frightened girl's hair to offer a bit of soothing comfort. "...I'm the one that saved you, and as such, you're my responsibility now. What you do will ultimately come back to me, but Saveria's punishments aren't fatal to those that simply make mistakes as opposed to...stealing from her. Nevertheless, as long as you follow her rules, you'll be granted safe haven and given the same privileges that I enjoy. In short, as long as you are with me, you will live a safe life..."
Celaine wasn't honestly sure if her explanation would offer Ravenna the kind of peace she would ultimately need in the long run, but...anything to settle her down was important. She knew the two girls had a long time to figure this out, but Ravenna needed to rest and heal. She'd be utterly useless and a complete mess if she didn't take the time for herself that she clearly needed. As Celaine knew Ravenna's health was of the utmost important, she would prioritize taking care of her at any cost... Realizing this...she knew she might have to take some...drastic measures...
"...Ravenna, I...I know you have a lot of fears and concerns... You've got so many worries about what the future holds and...those will be settled when the time comes..." Very carefully, Celaine turned her attention towards the fire place she had thrown her enchanted paper into earlier and started focusing her magic preparing to manipulate it. "...But for tonight, you need to rest...and...I'd like to help you to...to find peace in this storm you're in... When I'm stressed, I often watch the fire burn and daydream about peaceful things... Why don't you give that a try...?"
...Celaine didn't honestly want to have to resort to this, but...Ravenna was too worked up and worried to rest. As it seemed like words weren't going to do the trick, she decided it had to be through a bit of action... And so...very carefully, quietly, Celaine started to lightly move her hand beside her activating her magic that had since fused with the fire. As a result, the flames inside of the fire place began to move in...rather strange, captivating patterns... What looked like a sort of...spiral began to twist and spin in a mesmerizing pattern which Celaine hoped would captivate Ravenna. If it did...she would proceed to hypnotically bring her peace.

Ravenna flinched instinctively as Celaine moved a hand towards her head, but Celaine only gently brushed her hair. It was quite a soothing motion, despite the fact that Ravenna was somewhat skittish when it came to physical contact, and her nerves did not help that. Still, she firmly believed that Celaine wasn’t about to hurt her, so she let out a gentle sigh, easing herself, accepting the peaceful hand in her hair.
She chuckled slightly at Celaine’s words. “Following rules isn’t exactly my strong suit,” she joked, her mind back again at the abbey. It was easy to think of it, even if it had been so many years ago. After all, although Sanctuaire Sacre had several centuries on her little abbey, it had been quite like this. Sleeping in close quarters with the other girls, the only sound chatting girls and the crackle of fire, surrounded by thick, stone walls. She hadn’t been great at following the rules there, either. It was what had started her down the road to being a thief in the first place, a frustration at authority that had turned into a profession. She took another deep breath, and focused on what Celaine was saying. On the one hand, she was quite right, it would be best not to worry and to try to rest. On the other hand, it was rather difficult to focus on resting.
She nodded, rising a little in bed to gaze at the flickering flames in the fireplace. The way they danced, sending shadows scattering across the wall, was, Ravenna had to admit, rather relaxing. She smiled vaguely, nestling against her pillow, watching them. The flames glowed a soothing array of reds and oranges, and, as they danced before Ravenna’s eyes, just as Ravenna had what seemed like days ago before Celaine’s spell. The memory came back to her again, of dancing with Celaine, and she smiled at it, gently leaning a bit closer to the enchanting woman. How was someone so precise, so delicate with her magic, so nice a person, in so terrible a place as this, under so domineering a Mistress as Saveria?

The memories that Ravenna had running through her mind were the exact same as what Celaine had been thinking... This whole time she had been so kind, the whole reason she had saved Ravenna was simply because of the wonderful kindness that she showed to her in dancing with her earlier. She was so touched by what Ravenna had done that Celaine couldn't see anything bad happen to Ravenna... Even though it had happened in trance and was, as Celaine saw it a mere fantasy...it still affected her deeply. And that moment that both of them seemed to treasure would actually manifest itself with Celaine's magic... Very carefully, Celaine continued to manipulate the flames with the gentlest of hand movements. The orange and red embers would continue to spin in that little circle until at last, Celaine could manipulate their form much easier. The end result was what looked like two figures composed of the flames dancing in the same way Ravenna and Celaine had earlier. Who the flames were was...honestly up to the watcher's interpretation. To ensure that Ravenna's focus would be strictly on the two dancing figures, Celaine softly used her magic to shift the color of their flame clad bodies to a beautiful blue color. Celaine was very careful to manipulate these blue flaming dancers in the most graceful waltz she could puppet them in. At times, their movements might appear clumsy due to the fact manipulating a living force like this was difficult for Celaine. However, the purpose of this was to simply captivate Ravenna by sight and allow the hypnotic energy of her magic to enter itself into her guest by sight. But...that wasn't the only way Celaine planned to inducing Ravenna into a state of peace. And so...very softly, she started to sing for Ravenna the lyrics of a beautiful song that she knew... "Lay down your head and I'll sing you a lullaby... Back to the years of loo-li lai-lay... " Celaine pleasantly sang as she softly stroked Ravenna's hair once more, using a bit of her magical powers to push a small amount of hypnotic energy into her body by touch... Still, she sang the lyrics as sweetly as she could, projecting her energy by her voice to enter into Ravenna's being by sound... "..And I'll sing you to sleep, and I'll sing you tomorrow...Bless you with love for the road that you go..." Celaine realized that if the hypnotic energy she were pushing into Ravenna through her senses were to have the same kind of impact it had on her earlier, she'd start to have trouble staying conscious or maybe even upright. So...at any moment Ravenna might start to show signs of weakness, Celaine would quietly coax her body into laying down on her side so she could simply watch the dancing figures in the fire place and continue to enjoy her touch and song...

The flames burned, and dancing and curling in the hearth, spinning, the fire whirling like clay on a wheel, fashioning itself until Ravenna was gazing at a pair of luminous, blue figures, dancing together. Her lips curled faintly, recognizing that the gleaming blue was Celaine’s signature style. She felt that familiar warmth that had come with the glow of the bells, that had come with the shine of that beautiful blue eye she’d been hiding. Celaine would see the blue glow of the dancing figures reflected in Ravenna’s eyes, as they avidly followed the fire, as the two figures swayed across the hearth, gentle and smooth.
She had feared the blue magic, when she’d first seen it, feared the way it wormed its way into her head through her senses, gently whittling out her thoughts until all that was left was a thick fog, a deep, smothering nothingness that felt absolutely perfect. Now, however, she welcomed it, welcomed a reprieve from the sick feeling in her stomach, the nervousness at spending what sounded like the rest of her days trapped in this strange place, a servant to a very dangerous Mistress. Celaine had started to sing, and Ravenna was amazed by how lovely a singer she was. All alone in this dark, dank place, she hadn’t thought her voice would be so smooth, so clear, and yet so gentle, so soothing. Magically amplified, perhaps, Ravenna thought, but even so...she undeniably had a beautiful voice. Her smile widened slightly, breaking only for her to let out a yawn, that turned to a faint moan as Celaine gently stroked her hair again, sending a rush of hypnotic power pulsing from the top of Ravenna’s head. She smiled, her body leaning closer to Celaine, her cheek brushing against Celaine’s shoulder, with a satisfied little hum, eyes glazed, but still focused on the dancing flames.

When Ravenna drew closer to Celaine and rested against her shoulders softly, it took everything in the enchantress to not blush herself. There was no denying that...Ravenna had sent something of a spark in Celaine's heart and...even though this was what she wanted, she couldn't let her selfish feelings fizzle out her magic. So for now, she maintained her concentration on the task at hand. That wasn't to say though that she didn't take a little advantage of the situation herself for...her own pleasure...
With Ravenna as close as she was, Celaine lightly lifted an arm over her shoulders and pulled Ravenna in as close as she could to give her that sense of warmth and protection in a friend's embrace. She made sure to hold her just tight enough that she felt secure in her hold, but not to the level of feeling like she were imprisoned in it. Ravenna needed comfort and security, and that was what Celaine made sure that she had with everything she did.
Still manipulating the dancing blue figures in the fire with one hand, Celaine lightly used her free one to lightly brush along Ravenna's watching face. She seductively, softly rubbed around her eyes and along her nose... She Traced her warm cheeks and around her lips before offering soft strokes along her chin... All the while, traces of her magical hypnotic energy would flow through her finger tips allowing her to make each stroke more tingling and warm than it was. The energy itself would slowly sink into her system to help her relax even more with each passing moment. And accompanied with her touch was her voice magically magnified to provide sweet sounds for Ravenna's ears...
"...May you sail far to the far fields of fortune...With diamonds and pearls at your head and your feet..." To these lyrics, Celaine lightly manipulate the flames once more to show what looked a faint manifestation of jewels shining above the dancing figures. It hung and danced above them like a majestic chandelier to give the captivated woman a beautiful vision of luxury in her daydream... "...And may you need never to banish misfortune...May you find kindness in all that you meet..."
At this point, the dance between the two figures began to become more beautifully animated with dance steps as passionate and energetic as Celaine could make them. The output of energy from it was also amplified which would allow more of the energy to sink into Ravenna. It might have been a bit overwhelming to her senses, but in no way would it feel bad. In fact, it might feel like a wave of bliss that'd sink her hard into hypnotic oblivion.

Whatever little reaction Celaine had to Ravenna falling so swiftly under her spell, Ravenna did not notice. She had eyes only for the blue flame that danced and whirled before her. She did, however, feel Celaine drape an arm over her shoulders, gently pulling her against her, and let out a wordless thankful mumble as the magic flowing from the contact of one body to the other multiplied, from a single point of contact into an arc that went from one shoulder to the other, filling her chest with Celaine’s power. She let out a long, heavy, sleepy breath, leaning more heavily against her, a silly, sleepy smile on her lips, as she continued to watch the flames dance.
The song continued, sweet and soothing, and Ravenna’s eyelids drooped, Celaine’s hypnosis more than effective at quieting the girl’s fears, her worries dissipating into a pool of purest bliss. She let out another slow breath, that caught slightly in her throat as she felt Celaine’s free hand drift over to her face, gently tracing against her face. Ravenna let out another wordless mumble, trying to express her appreciation for what Celaine was doing to ease her mind while not thinking too much out of it, and her head moved to gently nuzzle against Celaine’s hand, as it seductively traced against her lips, smoothing the skin of her chin. She let out a soft moan, relishing each little touch, and the little burst of hypnotic bliss that went rippling out from them.
The pace of the dance sped up, the movements of the flames growing faster, as the pair of figures moved in swift, sweeping motions, tight to each other, two bodies moving as one, in a beautiful, powerful display. Around the pair of figures, more flames whirled into being, more patterns, ornate jewels that hovered above the dancers like a gleaming chandelier. They were images Ravenna barely understood, her mind slow, her attention still fixed on the dancers, but they still affected the girl’s mind, and her lids drooped still more, only to pull open a fraction of an inch, the sleepy girl not wanting to cut the flaming show short.

The contented moans and blissful sighs were sounds as sweet as honey to Celaine's ears. They allowed Celaine to see that Ravenna was so happy and at peace now showing that her little hypnotic talent was fulfilling it's purpose. It was granting the injured girl all the peace and bliss that she rightfully deserved after everything that had happened to her. And that fact alone was more than enough to spur Celaine to continue taking things just a little further with each time she did.
Celaine was about to perform something a bit new to correspond to the next lyrics of the song when...a soft glance into Ravenna's eyes showed her how hard it was for the injured girl to keep them open. She was SO close to falling asleep, but also clearly didn't want to miss the blue flaming figures dancing in all their splendid glory. And if she closed her eyes...she would end up missing the next thing she intended to do with the flames. Still though...she knew that Ravenna needed to sleep and...she hadn't exactly held back trying to put her in that state... In spite of that, Celaine smiled as she realized what would happen next could just as easily take place behind her eye lids as it could before her eyes...
Quietly, Celaine seductively traced soft little spiral patters around each of Ravenna's cheeks to instill a bit more of her hypnotic energy into her before softly rising her hand and tracing a similar pattern around Ravenna's forehead. After tracing her magic into Ravenna's mind, she lightly coaxed Ravenna to close her eyes and did the same herself. Then...very gently, she started using her magic to project visions into Ravenna's now enchanted mind. Ravenna would now be able to watch the entire scene from the comfort of her imagination without straining to watching dancing flames with her own sleep eyes...
In Ravenna's mind's eye, Celaine continued to project the dancing figures in their beautiful waltz with the dazzling atmosphere of jewels overhead. With the ability to actually craft the figures without limitations now, she allowed the flame clad figures to take on the actual characteristics of real human beings. These beings though...would be faceless so that Ravenna could see who she wanted to see dancing in her imagination... As she manipulated the magical visions inside of Ravenna's mind, Celaine was able to witness all of it herself in her magical, artificial eye...
"May there always be angels to watch over you...To guide you each step of the way...To guard you and keep you safe from all harm...Loo-li, loo-li, lai-lay..."
To these lyrics, Celaine held Ravenna even tighter to give her the most secure embrace she could offer the sleepy girl. The figures in her hypnotically induced vision would dance with such passion, such grace that it might seem like a stroke of reality instead of an induced dream. Around the dancing figures, a heavenly sort of atmosphere began to take shape making it seem as if the two figures were dancing in the clouds... As well, what seemed like a choir of angels were singing a song of bliss to them as they danced setting the vision up as one of pure, heavenly delight...

Ravenna felt amazing. The pain of Saveria’s torment, the fear for her future, they were all nothing, meaningless, compared to the bliss of Celaine’s hypnosis. It continued to flow in through the girl’s senses, overloading every other sensation, the flames dancing in the hearth, Celaine’s soft, sweet lullaby, and her touch, from the arm wrapped tenderly around her shoulders to the finger teasing her, tracing across her face. It was bliss, beyond what Celaine had given to her before, beyond what Ravenna could have even imagined.
She let out a huge yawn, and nuzzled deeper against the pillows, her eyes still wide, and Celaine, seeming to notice that she would not willingly avert her gaze from the flames, not even to shut her eyes and finally sleep, gently shut Ravenna’s eyes. Ravenna let out a mumble of protest, the smile fading slightly as her eyes shut, but, as the flames came to life behind her lids, in the boundless theater of her mind, the blissful smile quickly returned, as Ravenna stared through her shut eyes, watching the images Celaine put there, as the show continued, easing her deeper and deeper to sleep.
She let out another happy little sound as Celaine gave her a tight hug, as Celaine’s own voice died out, replaced with an angelic choir singing inside her own head. This was more pleasure than she had ever felt, more satisfaction than Ravenna had ever contemplated. If this was what life would be like at Sanctuaire Sacre then...maybe it wasn’t going to be so bad.

By the soft sounds that Ravenna made to the feeling of all of her muscles loosening and leaning in closer against her body, Celaine could tell the young girl was falling deeper into her sleepy spell with each passing moment. It seemed that she was truly enjoying her experience of watching the two figures in her mind dance in the sky to the choir of angels around them. And for a time, Celaine fell silent allowing her to just witness what was unfolding for just a moment longer. She wanted this image, this peace to be taken with her into slumber when it ultimately came close. And that time...was close at hand...
While Ravenna was distracted with her daydreams, Celaine couldn't stop herself from somewhat taking advantage of the situation itself. She lightly pressed her cheek against Ravenna's and gave it several soft nuzzles showing the mesmerized thief her gentlest affections. This, combined with a slightly tighter embrace for warmth and comfort allowed Celaine to cuddle with Ravenna and show the softer side of herself.
It may not have been perfectly evident to Ravenna outside of the trances she were in, but...Celaine was a very soft hearted woman who loved to show affection to those she cared about. Before all of this, when she was still with the girl she thought she'd marry, it wasn't the passionate nights or big things that made Celaine happy... It was the little things like dancing in the moonlight, or simply being able to cuddle with her lover she liked... Those things...were more precious to Celaine, but...had long since been buried after accepting her servitude to Saveria... While she didn't show these aspects of herself much anymore, she...would release them in moments like these. At least...when she knew she had control of the situation and...no one would hurt or betray her for it...
Still...Celaine realized what she was doing wasn't in Ravenna's best interest. And while she wanted it to continue on and on without end, like before, she realized these moments weren't real... Ravenna wasn't so much cuddling with her as she was just...cuddling with her to make the trance nicer. And though it pained her to stop it as much as realizing the reality of her moment, Celaine decided it was perhaps time to send her guest off to sleep for the night... Sleep...was what Ravenna needed and she couldn't put her own selfish desires above that...
"May you bring love and may you bring happiness...Be loved in return to the end of your days..." Singing these lyrics, Celaine lightly maneuvered Ravenna's hypnotized form into a laying down position and covered her with the sheets. Giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek and ensuring the visions in her head would stay with her as she descended into dreamland, she sang on ready to put a soft end to this event... "...Now fall off to sleep, I'm not meaning to keep you...I'll just sit for a while and sing loo-li, lai-lay..."

Ravenna’s body slumped, growing more limp, save that wide, satisfied smile, as the trance deepened within her, as the dance of flame continued in her mind, as Celaine’s hypnotic energy continued to pour into her slumbering body. The result of this would be sleep far deeper than any Ravenna had ever had, a rest more relaxing than anything in existence.
While she wasn’t exactly aware of what Celaine was specifically doing, she was still dimly aware of the world around her, beyond her lidded eyes, as she felt Celaine hold her tighter still, bringing her closer, so that their cheeks were pressed intimately against each other. Ravenna let out a mumble. Celaine’s cheeks were soft, warm, and, thanks to the hypnotic energy that continued to connect each touch between the two, felt nothing short of perfection.
It was quite miraculous, and if the Ravenna of a few hours ago had seen her now, so happy to be in Celaine’s arms, gently snuggling into bed at Sanctuaire Sacre, she would have been beyond shocked. To think that this was the Celaine who she had battled, the Celaine who had screamed and shot at her, it was barely even conceivable that she was capable of such peacefulness, such kindness, such intimacy. It seemed that, behind that hostile exterior, she was a kind, gentle person, perhaps the most kind and gentle Ravenna had ever encountered, better than the terse nuns and scheming schoolgirls she’d spent her childhood with, certainly better than any of the raging guards and priests she’d laughed at while escaping with their valuables. It was a softness she might have rarely showed, but it was one that Ravenna deeply appreciated, so much so, that, even in this much bliss, so deep under her trance, she felt compelled to speak, her lips parting to speak, her voice barely louder than a whisper.
“Thank you,” she mumbled, her lips almost immediately turning back to a happy, sleepy smile, eager to listen in rapt attention to her song, which slipped her deeper and deeper into trance.

With Ravenna safely tucked in, Celaine slowly released the magical enchantment on her mind allowing the hypnotically induced visions to become just another dream. A vivid one, perhaps, but a dream all the same. Just as she was severing her magical hold on the various things she had enchanted, she heard Ravenna whisper something soft in her sleep. It was so soft and if she hadn't been listening closely she would have missed it. However, from the young girl's sleepy lips came the simple words, 'thank you'.
When Celaine heard these words, her heart started to swell up with warm emotions. Everything she had done for Ravenna had been because of a combination of repaying her for the wounds Saveria inflicted as well as the tender moments SHE provided to Celaine. It...was honestly Celaine's way of thanking her and in a strange twist of fate...here Ravenna was thanking her... It was more than enough to bring a pleasant smile to Celaine's face as she had to hold back genuine tears of joy.
"...It's I that should be thanking you..." Celaine softly whispered, as she leaned into Ravenna's face and place another soft kiss upon her cheek. "...But...you're welcome all the same..."
From here, Celaine lightly rose herself up and started to stroke Ravenna's face tenderly to provide her some extra comfort. There was no magically induced energy, or anything like to amplify her touch this time. Just her hand...lightly, comfortingly tracing around Ravenna's face warmly to help her rest deeper and deeper... To this touch, she would sing on the final lyrics of the song which...would be the last words in song this night...
"May there always be angels to watch over you... To guide you each step of the way...To guard you and keep you safe from all harm...Loo-li, loo-li, lai-lay...Loo-li, loo-li, lai-lay..."
As the song came to a close, Celaine looked upon the peacefully resting girl and smiled warmly. A blush of sorts spread over her face as she admired how...beautiful Ravenna looked in her sleep. And feelings of passion began to rush through her causing her to slowly move in closer and closer towards Ravenna's smiling lips. Just as Celaine was mere inches from placing a kiss of deep passion upon Ravenna's slumbering lips, she suddenly stopped... She sat there for a moment frozen between giving in to her desires and...maintaining her dutiful respect of Ravenna's trust... And in the end...she gradually pulled herself away realizing that...this wasn't right...
"...I...I hope you sleep well, Ravenna..." Celaine lightly said as she stroked Ravenna's hair out of her face sweetly. "...You are a very special girl and I hope that maybe... Even if we can't...I will never do anything bad to you and...as long as I live...I'll be the angel that watches over and protects you... For what you've given me, done for me...even if nothing happens...I'll keep you safe as long as you're here... I promise..."
...It was a promise made to a girl who could probably no more comprehend what Celaine was saying anymore than what she was feeling. Still...as much as Celaine wanted to let the infatuated spark in her heart ignite, she knew she couldn't let it happen... And if she couldn't give into her own emotions, the next best thing she could do was protect Ravenna and serve her in a way that she did Saveria. It...was literally the only thing Celaine could think to do to make things work for right now.
Not wanting the situation to be anymore awkward for Ravenna than it already was, Celaine decided that it'd be best if...they didn't share the bed, or even the room for that matter tonight. So quietly, she made her way to her dresser to grab a change of clothes for the following day and made her way to the door of her room. Before closing it behind her, she turned to see Ravenna's sleeping face one last time and smiled before blowing a kiss to her sleeping form for one last act of kindness.
"...Good night, Ravenna... Until tomorrow..." Were the final words Celaine offered...before closing her bedroom door and proceeding to take care of a few other things in the cathedral before she too would call it a night...
