Another warm day had descended upon the jungle. The searing sun was cooler than usual, basking the never-ending landscape in its intense heat. For most residents, some used the small hours to catch some sun, while others escaped the blazing temperatures by descending underground.
One denizen was used to it. Ryan, the local jungle boy. At 23 years of age, Ryan was athletic, lean, tall, and lightly built, far removed from the uber-buff Tarzan stereotype. His lightly tanned and toned frame sported a slight six-pack, wide shoulders, and strong arms and legs. He wore a red loincloth, with short black hair and blue eyes rounding off a handsome appearance. A paint tattoo of a wolf paw dotted his left shoulder, indicating his past affiliation to the local pack before he departed to the village at 18 years of age.
23 rains with his lupine friends had come and gone, moulding Ryan into a courageous and fearless specimen of a man. He was keeping himself busy in the middle of a clearing with his daily exercise routine - which consisted of 10 to 20 chin-ups as he used his strong arms to pull himself up and down on a nearby branch. Back muscles worked overtime as he worked out.
"That’s enough. Time to cool off." He mused, wiping the sweat from his forehead. Fortunately for him, a nearby lagoon provided a rich source of rejuvenation. Ascending a small cluster of rocks, Ryan dived into the cool waters, emerging with a gasp. He then set about a small breaststroke around the lagoon, unaware that his display had caught the attention of a nearby watcher in the canopy....

Zee the anaconda had been lounging around in the branches high above the jungle floor. A shy and timid snake, Zee usually kept to herself, not having many friends. As she was about to close her eye and take a nap, the anaconda heard grunting just below her tree. Peeking through the leaves, she saw a man cub! Well more like a man-stud. The handsome human was an adult, his only attire a red cloth. “Oh I hope he doesn’t see me” Zee mumbles to herself. While Zee wasn’t necessarily scared of humans, she stayed clear of them, not knowing much about them. “Maybe I’ll just watch for a little” Zee said to herself, watching the jungle mans back muscles flex, as sweat began to drip down his toned body.
Deciding to follow the jungle man, Zee found herself at the local lagoon, watching the human swim like an expert as he cleaned himself. Zee wanted to talk to him and get to know him, but the anaconda was too nervous so she decided to leave. Unfortunately, her the branches she was one weren’t the sturdiest and could not hold her large, thick scaly body. “Uh oh” Zee whispered as she hears cracks and snaps. The branches underneath her were breaking! Zee screamed as she fell downward into the lagoon, surprising the unsuspecting man-stud...

Ryan’s breastroke was interrupted by the sounds of screams. He stopped and looked up, seeing a large snake tumbling downwards. Quickly, he dived underwater and rotated his body backwards, just as the snake hit the clear waters with a loud splash. Through the clear blue mercury, he saw that it was an anaconda, and big enough to consume even him. But it looked like this snake was in some distress.
He swam forward, approaching her and using his strong arms to grab onto a large and thick section of her body. With his strong legs working overtime, he brought her up to the surface.

Despite being an anaconda, Zee didn’t have the best swimming skills, spending most of her time on land. Struggling underwater, Zee was suddenly lifted to the surface by a pair of strong hands. The snake coughed and spat water out of her mouth, rubbing her eyes with her coils. Finally opening them, Zee saw in front of her the jungle man she had been watching. “Ahh! I’m so sorry! I didn’t meant to disturb your swim! I’ll uh...I’ll just go hehe” Zee chuckled nervously, turning bright red. She was mortified she had embarrassed herself in front of the handsome stranger. Zee turned to go, but was stopped.

Still treading water at the surface, Ryan stopped the shy and timid snake by grabbing her thick coils with his hands yet again. "It looks like you can’t swim. Here, I’ll help you to shore." The jungle hunk assisted, using his superior upper body strength to carry Zee and strong legs to propel himself forward through the waters of the lagoon until he reached the surface, allowing Zee to climb out and catch her breath.
He kept his body submerged, leaving only his head showing, intending to tease her once the time was right. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Still coughing, Zee squealed as she felt herself being carried by the strong jungle man and lifted back to shore. She was amazed by his strength! Panting, the anaconda looked at the handsome floating head. “Th-thank you. I appreciate your help. I’m Zee” the snake said, looking at the sand, using her tail to draw small lines in it, nervously fidgeting.
Zee giggles but immediately stopped. “I’m sorry I don’t mean to laugh” she said quickly. “It’s just funny talking to a floating head...um..sorry I don’t even know your name” the anaconda explain, jumbling her words. Zee turned red again, thinking she was making a fool of herself.

Ryan sensed that Zee was nervously fidgeting by drawing lines in the sand and giggling, thinking that she was embarrassing herself. He even saw that she was blushing: which was time to really make her heart flutter.
"You want to know my name?" He smiled, his feet hitting the shallows of the lagoon and beginning to walk forward. As Ryan strode forward confidently, he emerged from the waters, his wide shoulders, defined pecs and lightly toned abs with a slight six pack appearing. Droplets of water dotted his taut torso, which only made him that more attractive to Zee,
"Im Ryan. Nice to meet you, Zee." He smiled.

Still staring at the snake, Zees eyes widened at the sight of the stranger emerge from the water. Her eyes first caught of glimpse of his bare feet, his wet toes digging into the sand. Her eyes moved upward, noticing his strong, long legs, calves and thighs. Then came his waist, and his wet, red cloth, sticking to his tanned skin. The anacondas eyes continued on, stopping at his abs and well defined pecs, which lead to his broad shoulders and strong arms. Running a hand through his wet hair, the jungle man told the snake his name. Ryan. Zee gulped as he flashed her a charming smile. His muscles like a Greek statue, the sun shined on his body, the light reflecting off the tiny water droplets that dripped down his skin.
*gulp* Zee choked as her face turned red. It was almost like the jungle man was teasing her. Turning her head, the anaconda fanned herself with her tail, trying to calm down. Why was she feeling all these emotions? “Well um...it’s nice to meet you Ryan. How did- um...what are...hehe...!I’m Zee-wait, I already told you that” the snake said mixing up her words again. Hanging her head and sighing in defeat, the shy and timid snake knew she had doomed any chances of talking to the human. “I’ll just go back to my tree. Thanks again for helping me” she said sadly, as she began to slither away.

Ryan stopped Zee by grabbing her tail with his left hand, a charming smile on his face. "What’s the hurry, Zee? We’ve only just met." He insisted, walking around the anaconda in a brief circle until he was standing in front of her. He cupped her snout with his right, seeing her nervous expression.
"There’s no need to be scared of me." He winked.

Feeling the tug on his tail by Ryans strong hand, stopped. Zee blushes at the jungle man’s charming smile, his white teeth flashing at her. She stared deeply into Ryans icy blue eyes as his right hand cupped her snout. The anaconda knew Ryan had a strong grip, but despite that, he held her in a soft and gentle way. His caring and calm nature clear Zee if the butterflies in her belly. Breathing, the snake relaxed, the jungle man’s charm working wonder on her.
“I’m sorry. I’m not scared, just a little shy. I really just keep to myself and don’t talk to anyone in the jungle. And I don’t meet a lot of humans” Zee said. “Especially not ones as handsome as you” the snake said, meaning to keep that thought to herself. “Oh I didn’t mean-...um sorry I-...that wasn’t” Zee stuttered, trying time explain herself.

"Zee, it’s okay. If you want to keep to yourself, then that’s fine with me. It’s not every day a big anaconda falls out of a tree and right into my lap when I’m on my morning swim." Ryan exclaimed, his fingers treating Zee to a calming chin rub. He sensed the snake’s nervousness, and was doing his utmost best to soothe her.
"But you can talk to me. I won’t bite." The jungle hunk insisted, his toned body distracting Zee from speaking.

Zee avoided eye contact after her comment on Ryans appearance. Looking down, her eyes became lost in the jungle man’s sea of abs and chest muscles. She couldn’t help but want Ryan in her coils. The anaconda was surprised at herself for thinking this way. Feeling Ryan rub her chin, Zee looked up at the man-stud, calm again.
Smiling, Zee felt safe around Ryan. She began to trust him, believing his words that he wouldn’t hurt her. “Again sorry for ruining your swim” the snake said laughing, no longer embarrassed and now thinking of the moment as a comical event that happened in the past. “I just tend to be by myself most days. I’m not sure if it’s a choice, or whether it just happens” the snake said sighing, remembering the lonely nights she’s had. “But I’m glad I can talk to you. Maybe...maybe we can talk in my tree?” Zee asked, gathering up the courage to ask the jungle man to spend more time with her.

Ryan sensed Zee’s calmness, noticing that the anaconda was mesmerised by his toned abs and defined pecs. He was a masculine treat for her eyes, and she just had to have him in her thick coils. "No need to apologise, Zee. At least 2 times out of ten, I’ve had it ruined by some groping octopi that’s tried to drown me. You’re different than that." He insisted.
When Zee gathered up the courage to ask him to spend some more time with her, the man-stud jumped at the chance. "Up there? With the broken branch?" He chuckled.

Zee was shocked to hear about Ryans dangerous encounters. She had no idea such creatures existed. Maybe she should get out of her tree more. “That sounds awful Ryan! Don’t worry there are no octopi in my home” the anaconda said, once again lost in the muscles of the handsome human that stood before her.
Chuckling at the jungle man’s joke, Zee looked at the broken branches she had fallen through. Well...to be honest, that isn’t my tree. I may or may not have noticed you performing your exercise routine and followed you to the lake” the anaconda said, nervous at how the jungle man would react to her admitting she had been watching him. “But-but I wasn’t stalking you. I’m not creepy I swear!” Zee said quickly not wanting to scare Ryan. Zee breathed, the jungle man’s hand still under her chin calming her down again. “My tree is where you were doing your arm lift thing, if you still want to come” she said, not knowing what Ryans exercises were called.

"You’ve been following me? I’m flattered, Zee." Ryan smiled, finishing up rubbing the anaconda’s chin. "And you’re not creepy at all."
Those words were extremely reassuring to Zee - she could feel an unexplained feeling in her soul. An instant attraction towards the man-cub. One she had never felt before. His hands let go of her chin and tail, resting on his hips, almost telling Zee "deal" internally.
"So your tree is the one where I was doing my chin ups? Okay. I’ll come along.” He decided.
