We all think differently, and not all of our opinions are common for whatever reasons. Here's one as an example: I know this sounds divisive for me to say this, but I'm in the minority who actually thinks Harry Potter is overrated.

I’ve got some unpopular opinions that are very political, so I won’t go into those here. But one unpopular opinion I have that I can share is that the final fantasy games are bad. Don’t hurt me.

I actually really like Alien Resurrection (a lot of other people hate it), I also preferred Full Metal Alchemist and didn't like Brotherhood.

Here’s another unpopular opinion: Not only the Star Wars prequels are critically underrated, but also overhated. The Phantom Menace was the first episode that actually got me into the series when I was eight.

Now compared to the new movies they’re amazing in quality... save the terrible acting. But yeah, it seems as time goes on, the series just gets worse and worse. |

I needed to see the prequels, my bro told me to watch Star Wars (but didn't specify to not watch the prequels). Kinda glad I did because I would have never found out that Anakin was Luke's father, because Vader isn't trustworthy and you don't get told by anyone else the truth about Anakin and I would have just given Luke the most annoyed stare ever thinking 'Luke, you can't trust Vader, he's just trying to anger you and distract you with lies'. Also the prequels acting wasn't that bad, Leia's acting is strange at times, Young Obi Wan (after Phantom Menace) was good, Anakin was decent when he wasn't talking gushy romance, and yeah I liked Jar Jar, I actually found him funny, wasn't a fan of how he spoke, but he was funny to me (I was young). |

My only criticisms of the prequels are the GCI visual effects were overused and some parts of it didn’t look convincing enough to me.
Here’s a music-related unpopular opinion: The late Layne Staley from Alice In Chains was a better singer than Kurt Cobain. Now don’t get me wrong, I love Niravana, and they’re one of my top three favorites grunge bands. But not much as AIC who is number one on my list. I hear more diversification in the sound of his catalog as opposed to Kurt’s.

Okay. Since the topic seemsStar Wars related right now, then I'll say it right now: I like The Last Jedi. It's a flawed movie yes, but detractors blow the flaws out of proportion. Even worse, they've gotten obnoxiously arrogant about it. Yeah, there's things I'd change; like that Rey SHOULD BE LUKE'S DAUGHTER, RIAN.

I loved The Last Jedi.
Now while I still really liked and enjoyed the movie and I am a huge Marvel fan, in my opinion, Black Panther was a bit overrated. It is definitely far from the worst MCU movie, but also I don't think it stands up the likes of Civil War, The Winter Solider and the first Avengers. Again, it is high on the list, but I don't think it's as amazing as everyone is making it out to be. Sure, it is a very progressive movie, but from and actual story standpoint, I just don't think it holds.

You guys can have some fun with this as long as it stays to multimedia and other light things like it has been. We do have a rule in place though restricting the debate about politics, religion, and other controversial topics. So as long as you guys avoid the extremely controversial stuff and the topics stay light, everything is all right by me. I did just want to make this post just to slip in a small cautionary note, that's all.
On that note... I've only seen two episodes of Naruto, but I don't think it's a really good anime. >.<

Naruto is overrated and boruto is a garbage show that tries to re-sell the original concept with virtually the same characters.
