Anika stayed close to the Arachne as they got back to the cave.

Arca reaches the mouth of her cave. First she sniffs the air and doesn’t sence any trespassers. She then steps inside. She was expecting the children to still be playing. But it was quiet. “Your back,” said a voice in a low tone. ”Gonter,” Arca said back to her mate. Gonter comes out so he was seen, in his arms was their daughter Amala. ”Shh, Goan and Antal are sleeping and this one might be ready for some sleep soon too. ”Woah, is this the same cub I saw before?”

Anika smiled as they made it back to the cave and was expecting the baby Arachnes playing. She turned her head and rolled her eyes at Gonter’s comment.
Then she faced him again, “That’s right,” she said smiling softly.

"Very lovely for a human cub." Down in his arms, Amala started reaching out her hands the moment she saw her mother. Goan right away hands the baby to Arca, who took her daughter and held her to her chest. Amala snuggles into her mother's chest making small purr noises. Arca smiles at the sight and strokes the arachne's cheek. Arca then turns back to Anika. "I'm glad you came by in time to see this. After some rest I'm sure they will want to eat and then more play time."

"Thank you," Anika replied.
When Arca turns around to face the jungle girl after collecting Amala, Anika strokes the baby's cheek gently.
"So am I, and even a stampede of elephants couldn't stop me from playtime with these critters,"

After half of an hour, all three of the newborn Arachnes were wide awake. Arca made sure they were all fed, while Gonter took the time to talk with Anika so they could meet each other some more.
"Trying to steal hair from a female Arachne, I don't think I've heard a creature daring to do so. Most creature in this jungle are afraid of us. Mainly the small ones. Some predators do challenge us, but none would try that."

Anika sat on a large stone across from the male arachne.
"What can I say? I was younger and slightly reckless at the time. Plus, I rarely back down from a challenge."

Gonter flexes a few of his spider legs. "Would you say you still are? But truly can I blame you? We all can be careless young children. And that's why I'll have all legs busy keeping these newborns out of danger." As if on cue, Goan runs over to them and hops into Anika's lap. Gonter chuckles at the sight. Antal and Amala come over too. The female goes to her father while the other boy was following a ant crawling along the cave ground. He even tries to grab it but would just miss with it changing direction at the right moment.

"Reckless? No, I don't think so. Arca helped with that." Anika replied.
Anika pets Goan's head after he hops on her lap and she watches the others roam around.
"Keep trying Antal, you'll get them," the girl said encouragingly.

And she was right. Antal pounced and his hand landed in front of the ant’s path. It kept walking, climbing up the baby’s hand. He kept eyes on it as it crawled along his arm. The tiny legs tickled him a little. When he tried to grab it with his other hand it was just the same as before with getting away from him. Antal started to get a bit fussy about the silly bug.

Anika giggled a bit at the sight.
"I feel your pain Antal," she said hoping to lift his mood.
