The day had grown hot and very muggy, moisture hung through the air like dence swarms of insects. Little droplets of water drippped from the leave of trees and shrubs, Rats and mice skittered in and out of cover and lizards and other small predators went on the prowl. In this insect and rodent infested sweatbox was a patch of ground just like any other, however it was not. Long a go an inhabitant of the Jungle had built a pit trap to capture the larger animals in the wide jungle, very this and brittle sticks bearly suported moss lychen and leaves that covered it. Unknown to the inhabitants close by, one particular Jungle resident had mae it's home inside the covered pit. Not only would it provide shelter but also a means to capture prey. A tactic the this predator had come to use with great ifficiancy.

The unseen inhabitant would not have to wait long for prey to unwittingly walk right into it’s carefully laid trap. Rustling branches and bushes heralded the arrival of the lone jungle boy known only as Ryan. At 23 years of age, He was a lone individual. Athletic, lean, tall, and lightly built, he was far removed from the uber-buff Tarzan stereotype. His lightly tanned and toned frame sported a slight six-pack, wide shoulders, and strong arms and legs. A red loincloth and blue eyes complimented a paint tattoo of a wolf paw on his left shoulder, which indicated his past affiliation to the local pack.
23 rains had come and gone, moulding him into a fearless, brave and handsome specimen of a human. One that many female predators were eager to ensnare for their own purposes and agenda. Usually, trouble always found Ryan. And he would find that out.
"Another hot day. Better find some shelter." He mused, wiping sweat off his forehead.

Ryan was walking right towards the covered pit, unawear of the possible danger that lurked ahead. All it took was one missstep. It was as if the ground beneath him just opened up to swallow him, before he could even register what was happening, he was tumbling forward, the leaves and brittile sticks helped to soften the impact, the bottom of the pit was filled with about 18 inches of water, soaking Ryan in cold muddy water. However as he landed sumthing hidden in the mud and water began to shift and move about him.

Ryan felt the ground opening up beneath him, gravity now his enemy. He tumbled into 18 inches of cold and murky water, surfacing with a loud gasp while starting to tread water. He looked up to sss daylight above him, cursing internally.
"Great. As if my day can’t get any worse." He grumbled, blue eyes glancing around to try and find a way out of this predicament.

Almost as the words left his lips the head of a large Python emerged from the muddy water behind him, is was a sickly green colour with oval bands of deep orange. It Let out a threataning and defencive long Hisss. As it did several humps of Green and orange coils rose and dived in and out of the muddy water. It's yellow eyes locked onto Ryan.

Ryan heard the threatening hiss behind him. Almost immediately, his expression changed as he sensed the predator behind him. One glance from his eyes saw the large python’s yelllow gaze sizing him up. He smirked, knowing full well what position he was in. Whether this snake wanted to snack on him or not remained to be seen.
"Guess you caught me, huh?" He chuckled, still treading water. In a flash, he lashed out with one hand, splashing the snake with water to stun it. His legs propelled him forward, hoping to find a quick way to climb out of this pit.

The snake narrowed it's gaze at Ryan, it had not seen many humans in it's time, but new to be causious, although it would have gladly eaten sothing Ryan's size, it had eaten yesterday and was in the middle of a plesent nap. That was untin a cirtan human came dropping into it's den. "Intruding....Not welcome" the Green Python hissed lowley, it's gaze never leaving Ryan.

Just as Ryan prepared to climb out, the notion that he was intruding caused him to stop and turn back to face the snake. "I’m intruding? You left this trap here and screwed up my day." He retorted, sensing the python’s apparent hostility. Despite the wet, damp and muddy space that he was trapped in, he could still fight his way out. Should the snake try it’s luck with him.

"Not...WELCOME!" the Python hissed a little more venomusly (no pun intended) and made a brief lunge in Ryan's direction. It wasn't intending to connect, but to intimidate, if it came down to it the Python had a trick or two up it's scaley sleave.

Ryan quickly dodged the snake’s sudden lunge, knowing that it didn’t want to hurt him. "WOAH! What the hell?!" He asked, glancing to his left as he tried to look for a suitable way to climb up. No way was he going to bury his head underneath the muddy water and swim - he needed to climb. Strong fingers latched onto the pit’s interior walls as he prepared to leave.

"GYYYAAAAAAAH" the Python roared/hissed and it Lunged for Ryan as he attempted to climble up the wall of the 30+ foot pit, It slammed right into Ryan's back, knocking him strait into the water below with a resounding SplOSH! The Python Hovered over Ryan it's Jaws parting menasingly as it's tongue lazily flicked in and out.

As the snake slammed into his back and knocked him back into the water, Ryan emerged to see the predator’s jaws parting to reveal its cavernous maw, hovering over him. With no time to tread water, his strong arms reached up and grabbed the python’s mouth, keeping it from enclosing around his head.
"Oh, no you don’t! You’re not making me the main course!" He declared, his legs still retaining movement and treading water.

Ryan may have rangled it's Jaws, but there was over forty feet of undulating mussle and scales that he had to contend with. While Ryan conentraited on the head, he couldn't get grip on the muddy floor, the Python used this to it's advantage. Spinning Ryan around and around. Before lone Ryan had four thick strong coils from his chest to his hips, once they clinched in and had a firm grip on him, the squeezing bagan. Slowly the Coils began to Squeeze in on Ryan, their powerful strong mussles easily felt as they began to corkscrew around him.

Ryan gritted his teeth, refusing to let this snake squeeze the life out of him. Each time he tried to breathe, the serpent’s muscles grew tighter. His hands kept an iron grip on the predator’s, the pair locked in combat. The fearless lad was no stranger to this sort of predicament - he had survived man-eating plants and tentacle attacks in the past.
"No.... not going to let you.... ACK!" He grunted, feeling the pressure.

With the waight of the coils and their assult on Ryan's body, The python pulled him down onto his knees. The coild Jerked tighter around Ryan, increasing their pressure on him, it's Tongue flicked lazily in and out of the end of it's snout. "Submit" it said simpily as it gave another jerk of its tightening grim.
