The deed was done. Gwen, Ben and Max had saved the day and caught Animo. Now they could enjoy the rest of the day at the beach.
"You think he'll stay in prison this time, grandpa?" Gwen asked.
"Even if he doesn't, I deleted all his computer files. He won't be replicating any more Omnitrix DNA." Max replied proudly.
"Neither will I for a while." Ben added. "I'm all Ditto'd out. From now on, we can have fun your way."
"Okay!" Gwen said, raising her makeshift glider. "Race you to the beach! Zaphirious Expectorium Perpetua!"
With the spell incantation chanted, Gwen levitated into the air and sped up, determined to beat her family to the beach. However, once she saw Max gaining on her with his jetpack, she drew out her spell book and looked up a new spell she had been curious about; a spell to summon portal. "Via Universum Residentia Porta" She chanted. However, something went wrong. As an oval-shaped energy gate appeared before her, she saw it led to an unfamiliar jungle rather than the beach. She desperately tried to close the portal but was too late. She had ben sucked inside.
The portal appeared over a thick layer of trees where Gwen was separated from her spell book. The book fell to the jungle floor while Gwen fell into a river that washed her away until she fell off a small waterfall miles away from the book. She managed to swim to the edge of the river and started walking. She looked around confusingly before trying to find her spell book that no doubt includes a spell that will transport her back home.
"Ben?" She shouted. "Grandpa?"
The heat was immense. She considered herself lucky that she was wearing her red one-piece swimsuit, or the heat would be overbearing for her. Gwen had no idea where to start looking for the spell book, but by noon the heat was starting to get to her. She found a shade underneath a tree where she sat down, pulled her knees and buried her head against them.

The spell book being lost would soon become the least of Gwen's worries as the forest she was transported to was in no way ordinary. Many tales were spoken of its inhabitants, including a friendly bumbling bear, a ferocious yet sophisticated tiger and a sneaky, sinister snake. And that particular snake just happened to be the closest to where Gwen was at the moment.
His rest in the tree branches came to an abrupt end, and the python woke up slowly. His long brown coils were occupying almost the entire tree he was in, with only a few poking out from the treetops. As the large serpent pulled himself up, opened his yellow eyes and looked around, a certain human scent hit his nostrils. A human female found herself not so far from the snake, and it seemed she would receive a warm "welcome" from Kaa the python.
Climbing up and through the treetops, the snake felt the scent coming closer, which meant he was going in the right direction. And soon enough, he got where he wanted to be.
The girl below surely seemed to be a newbie to the jungle, but she could be capable of certain feats. Looks could be deceiving after all. Kaa was still there, in the bushes, as he let out a long quiet hiss.
"Sssay now... What isss thisss losst girl doing here, under thisss tree?"
He wanted to preserve the surprise factor and waited patiently to strike at the least expected moment. Fortunately, mind games were a thing Kaa was pretty good at.

Gwen's head sprung up from the knees as she gasped. She cast a spell to reveal the creature "Revelio!" Despite being only 10 years old, she had a vast encyclopedic knowledge and used it to analyze the creature and concluded that it was an Indian rock python. As such she knew immediately that she had been transported to central India. Though she was surprised to see that this snake had a glimmer of human-like intelligence, and it seemed surprised to see a red-headed white girl. If there was one thing she knew about these types of snakes, it was to avoid eye-contact. As the spell ceased to work, the snake was once again hidden. Gwen remained seated on the ground, but looked anxiously around. She tried casting the spell again, only to find out that her powers are compromised. No doubt a side effect of the portal. She realized now that the spell book was her only way home.

The way home could be beyond her reach very soon, as the snake kept out of her sight. He let out another hiss, perhaps having realized that he was found out, and quickly began to move to another treetop. He had many to maneuver in, after all.
"Ah, whatever you said, meansss nothing. You are in my foressst, woman-cub. There iss nothing for you to fear of" - Kaa spoke, he moved around and around... He decided to finally move out. He peeked from the treetops and his eyes were no longer yellow... In fact, there were many colors in each of the snake's eyes.
"It's time we finally ssseee each other eye to eye, girl" - the serpent spoke, smiling widely and exposing Gwen to his beautiful colorful display. Though at first ot couldn't draw her in immediately, but still... The snake's hypnosis was set into motion.

Gwen kept looking around more and more anxiously, though she was careful to only look briefly each time in order to avoid being hypnotized. She desperately tried to perform her magic, but each time she summoned the blue magical aura around her hands, they quickly disappeared, frustrating her to no end. "Come on...come on. Of all times to lose my powers, why did it have to be now?" She said to herself. As Kaa's face creeped down from the tree, Gwen immediately buried her face back into her knees and dared not look up until she was sure it was safe. In the meantime she kept trying to perform magic but to no avail. Little did she know, however, that a large tail was descending from the tree above her.

The snake's eyes were not enough to entrance her on their own, so the serpent used his tail instead to assist himself a little. The young girl's waist was wrapped up while Gwen wasn't looking, and soon enough she found herself being lifted off the ground... And up in the python's canopy...
"Ah, why are you so ssshy, man-cub? Are you afraid of something?" - he asked, his eyes still emitting spirals but ready to go back to normal any second... Assuming such hypnosis wouldn't work and the python would need a more elaborate approach.
"What kind of magic are you talking about?" - he asked Gwen, his eyes finally going to normal. He was hoping to win her trust first before proceeding with his plans.

Gwen felt the tail wrapping around her rear, slowly coiling around her thighs and her waist, forming a surprisingly comfortable seat for her. As she saw she was being hoisted up, she regretted not having run away when she had the chance. As she was hoisted up above the branches above, she found herself face to face with Kaa. Being powerless, the girl was naturally frightened and unsure how to respond to her captor.
"Wh-who are you?" She asked, looking at the snake, but still ready to cover her eyes if needed to.

Kaa himself displayed no powers yet, he became geniunely interested with the human female that was in front of him right now. Not every single day he would meet a person who appeared so suddenly in his domain. While the snake was not hungry, he certainly couldn't let Gwen get away without him noticing her.
"Ah, I forgot to introducce myssself. My name isss Kaa... What isss yoursss?" - he asked, keeping the eye contact with Gwen as he spoke. Before the young girl could say anything in response, Kaa continued.
"And how did you end up here? You ccertainly do not look like a regular jungle dweller, so... what happened?"

"G-Gwen." She said, struggling to unwrap the coils around her. "I shouldn't be here. I came here because I haven't worked out my portal spells yet."
Gwen finally managed to untangle the snake's tail from her waist. She scooched out of the coiled seat and landed gently on the branch. Luckily she was an experienced gymnast, dancer and martial artist, so maintaining balance was a peace of cake for her. Still, she tried to look for a way down to the jungle floor.

"Ah, portal spellsss, you sssay?" - asked Kaa, his tail went for Gwen's wrist and tried to wrap around it to keep her from leaving his canopy too early. He decided to play around for a bit with his tricks... and there were many of such up his scaly sleeve.
"You do not have to get down to the ground, Gwen. I am no usual snake, you ssseee. I know sssome magic of mine too... and it may help you to get where you came from. Jussst... trusst me" - he did not want Gwen to escape him, but he did not want to bring her suspicion upon himself. Still, it wouldn't hurt to propose a small idea which had much more behind that it seemed to be... right?

Gwen struggled to unwrap the tail around her wrist but to no avail. The tail kept creeping up to her forearm. "Hey! Let go of me!" Gwen said in an annoyed tone.
"I don't care what kind of snake you are or what you can do." She added as she finally managed to free her wrist from Kaa's tail. "I just need to find my spell book so I can get out of here."
As Gwen leaped to the next branch, she noticed Kaa following her, observing her in a rather creepy manner. She noticed he was particularly interested in her skin and hair color. "Why are you looking at me like that? Haven't you ever seen a human before?" She asked, crept out.

The snake however was very persistent. His tail coiled up Gwen's ankle and tried to pull her back. "I am ssorry, but people like you rarely appear in my jungle forest, man-cub. I don't want to hurt you, I just... Want to help you. I know a spell to get back home, but if you don't want to trust me, then there isss... Nothing I can do" - he spoke with a note of sadness... A fake one, to say the least.
His eyes were normal for now, but sooner or later... They would change.

"You want to help me? Sorry if I can't trust a snake." Gwen sassed, puzzled as she struggled to free her ankle. "What would a snake know about spells?"
Gwen managed to free her ankle, but then her waist was immediately coiled and the tail worked itself down around her left thigh. Gwen was now getting very annoyed and frustrated with all the coiling.

"Ah, but where are you going to go, Gwen? You will only lose yourself further in the forest. Away from any help and at rissk of wandering off forever... Don't you think that's perhapsss a little too much?" - asked Kaa, hoping to persuade Gwen into giving him a chance... The chance he was going to not miss out.
He tried to turn Gwen towards himself, his eyes were slowly emitting colorful spirals again, at a slower pace. "Perhapss you should look into my eyes when I am talking to you?" - he asked, with hopes of holding the orange haired girl in place long enough for his trick to work.

Gwen was noticeably tempted to accept Kaa's offer, but then she reminded herself of the unlikelihood of a snake being able to help her. As she unwrapped the coils around her and pushed them away, she had to admit that Kaa was right about one thing; she had nowhere to go.
"I...I can't." Gwen said, looking away from the snake's eyes. "You'll hypnotize me and besides I-mmmm" She continued, only to be cut off as the tail covered her mouth.
